Minibee Women’s Baggy Linen Wide Leg Trousers Casual Patchwork Elastic Waist Harem Pants are very lightweight, made of 55% linen & 45% cotton but in the green color, they are NOT see-through. The material and the loose-cuffed, wide-legged style and loose fit are quite suitable for the hot summer months. The elastic waist comfortably adjusts to accommodate my usual fluctuating (by a couple inches) waist size. The cute pockets add design interest and a splash of color.
These pants are well made and the seams are properly stitched. However, to prevent shrinkage and fraying, these pants (as with my clothing of similar material and style) will be hand-washed in cold water and allowed to air dry as instructed on the web site and per clothing tag, (- NOT machine washed, tumbled dried)
For size reference: I am 5’4″ and weigh 132 lbs. I typically wear size 6 pants and jeans; my waist is not well defined and measures (fluctuating) 29 1/2 – 32″ and my hips are 39″. I chose size large which fits as expected with a comfortably loose, somewhat baggy (but NOT sloppy) fit. The leg cuffs are about 1 1/2″ above my ankle. These pants would be more flattering if I were a bit taller, but they do look nice and are very presentable, – enough so, to be easily worn in public while running errands, as well as worn working and lounging at home during the summer for which intentionally purchased. I am happy with my purchase.

Another beautiful pair of summer pants from Minibee. Unfortunately, the 2X is just a bit too small on me, as I feared it would be. The pants fit, but not with the nice bagginess they should have. That doesn’t mean they run small; it means I run big! I was being too optimistic and hoping they ran large. I can still wear them with a tunic, but they don’t have the pictured bagginess and flow. I’ll just keep them until I lose ten more pounds. It seems like summer has no sign of cooling down, so maybe I’ll be wearing them in December. If your size is available, get them – they’re really cute. And Minibee, please offer a 3X in everything – I love all of your clothes!

I really, really like these pants— fabric is great, workmanship is solid & ankle detail charming. Colors lovely & even the pockets (when taken in isolation) are a delight— they’re pieced fabric and not embroidery by the way, since that’s not clear in the photos. What lets these down is the failure to consider scale & pocket placement as the size of the pant & thus person wearing them increased— turning otherwise otherwise lovely pants into an unflattering item evoking a circus clown when brightly colored patch pockets perch on a post-menopausal tummy. So, if you’ve a flat belly or are a smaller size, I’d strongly urge you the try these pants out— they are lantern pants and I think will be great for summer. This curvier person is now going to look for these pants WITHOUT those pockets.
