Material for the dress is thick and great quality. You could also wear this to the office. The dress is designed to fit your curves and it is not too tight, form fitting, or restricts movement. For a smoother look (if you have some lumps/bumps), put on some shareware. The outer layer jacket is lace and has a beautiful flower design. The raises the look up a few notches and adds bursts of color to the outfit.

This 2 Piece Women’s Maxi Dress is gorgeous. My pictures emphasize the excellent quality of the outer pink floral embroidered sheer jacket. The dress is a perfect color match. The fit and sizing seemed good – I should have chosen my exact small size, but chose medium which will allow some room. I like flowing comfort and also want to keep this dress for a long while. This dress will be great for any formal events, including weddings, more formal luncheons/dinners, and any other fancy event. I think this dress looks terrific with beige pumps, greige/lilac wedges, or my silver/pink kitten heels.

First off, the stitching and detailing on the outer jacket is amazing. Just stunning. However, the sizing is absolutely crazy. I am 5’3″ and curvy, the dress at a large fits perfectly. The bodice is fitted, the waist flattering then flaring out. Fits absolutely perfectly. The embroidered over-jacket? Holy crap no. Won’t fit over my shoulders, won’t fit on my arms, if I was any taller the sleeves would be too short. I estimate I would need to go up 2-3 sizes for it to fit like the product pictures. The problem is, it is a set- if I went up in size 2-3 sizes so the outer jacket fit, the inner dress would fit like a large loose polyester bag. I am not sure there is a sweet spot I could get where the outer jacket fit and the inner dress both fit. It’s too bad because I love the detailing. Also, Amazon/the seller only allow returns on this, not exchanges. I always wait until a return finishes before ordering a new item- I’ve had some awful luck reordering before a return is complete. And that is a pain! Making the return/ re-order even more of a hassle is that it took almost a month for this dress set to arrive after ordering. I am glad I wasn’t planning on wearing it to my work function 2 weeks ago. I’m giving this 2 stars simply because the embroidery is so lovely. Otherwise, the sizing issue along with the time to receive plus lack of exchange options, etc, this would be 1 star
