Perfect for flying! First time taking my pup on a plane and was so worried it wouldn’t fit under seat or he wouldn’t be comfortable. Flew Southwest and it fit perfectly. Easy access to my Beary and wonderful extendable top for more room. Good sturdy material and easy to clean. Would highly recommend for first time travel.

This is a well designed and sturdy cat carrier. My 10 pound cat is very suspicious of carriers, but I left this one out and open for three weeks, and the other day, he just jumped in through the top and went to sleep for four hours.
The bed is soft and comfortable with a washable cover and a rigid bottom plate that easily supports the cat’s weight and is also washable.
There are several zippered openings, including a front door, and more importantly from my standpoint, the entire top opens with zippers, revealing a surprisingly large space inside. That was how my cat went in to take his nap, and how I put him in when the time came to go to the airport.
All of the zippers can lock in place.
Alaska Airlines barely glanced at the carrier and there were no questions about allowing it on the plane.
The top can be pulled up an extra 3 inches or so to give the cat more headroom when not under the seat. The expandable top is easily pushed down to fit the airline’s height limitation.

We had to move from Hawaii to the mainland and I knew it was going to be very stressful for my cat so I wanted to be sure to pick something super comfortable for her. This was it! She is 14lbs and fit very comfortably. It is easy to use, there was no smell and the quality is A+. There are lots of air vents, the strap length for carrying was perfect and comfortable to use. You are able to unzip the top to reach in and calm them as needed. It is the correct size to fly on United and Alaska under the seat. I highly recommend buying it early so they get used to being able to go in and don’t panic when it’s time to travel.

Perfect size that’s made well! My puppy was comfortable and it fit nicely under the airplane seat. Better choice of 3 others considered. Luggage handle was helpful in transport throughout airport.

EDIT: The move was a success! My cat was super comfortable in her carrier, despite the trip taking approx 20 hours total. She got many breaks, but when she had to be inside, she was as content as she could’ve been given the circumstances. I’d highly recommend this carrier. It’s the perfect dimensions for AirFrance flights as well.
Original Post: My rescue cat is terrified of pet carriers due to past trauma (to the point of sometimes urinating out of fear), but she genuinely loves this one. She was significantly less stressed when I was rolling it like a suitcase as opposed to carrying it by the straps like a typical carrier. In fact, the only time she ever meowed or seemed upset was when I had to occasionally pick it up to get over steps. Otherwise, though, she was quiet and generally content, even though we had to travel on a crowded bus.
She’s only been to the vet in it, so I’ve yet to take her on a plane or any long-distance journey, but I plan to in the next few months and will update this review afterwards.

This carrier is maximum size approved by JetBlue. My cat is 11lbs. 1oz. It’s a very nice carrie , light, and secure. However, it is rather snug fit for my cat. Be sure to check your airline to see approved airline carriers and what sizes are permitted. Sizes vary by airline and JetBlue size restriction was one of the smallest I had seen.

Perfect for flights that only accommodate small carriers.
We rescue, foster, TNVR cats. Although we primarily foster and home kittens we recently were awarded a 12# fluff ball which is part Norwegian Forest cat and 100 percent fabulous.
Because we have full time cats (failed fosters) we need to separate the foster from them until homed. That’s hard to do when you’ve got travel.
None of our carriers would pass Allegiant’s size restrictions so I bought this hoping the cat would be comfortable enough.
It’s perfect. Because the top pops up she had plenty of room to turn around and enough space to spread out.
The only modification I made and would recommend is I added heavy duty Velcro to the base board/bed so it doesn’t shift around. I can still take the base out but it’s stable when handling the carrier.

This works great for my pup and me. She loves it and gets in herself just to relax at times. It is easily used and fits under the seat easily on the plane.

build quality is good but we found the inside measurement to be smaller than the bag we already have. if you’re trying to maximize “cabin space” for your pet, i recommend finding a less bulky carrier. there’s a bit of a trade off there. we intended for this to be an upgrade to our current carrier, but decided our original carrier worked best for our needs (space for our fur baby).
