These are great cameras for use indoors. They are very easy to setup and add to your network. The app is easy to navigate and use. The notifications are sometimes a little slow, but the recording is pretty good. The night vision recording is acceptable and usable. These are plug in only, so make sure you have a plug in the room you are placing it in. Price is a little high unless you hit one of the sales they put on, this is not worth the regular price. The monthly price for video storage keeps getting higher, not sure if I will keep it once it jumps again.

These are really excellent cameras. I live on the first floor of an apartment building. We are not allowed to install outdoor cameras or anything else on the outside of the building. My only other option was to buy indoor cameras that face out the windows. The cameras are adjustable. I bought multiple cameras because I live in a corner apartment. The Ring camera comes with the ability to manipulate what area your camera responds to. That is controlled from the app on my phone. This will stop my camera from being alerted if my cat comes near one of my cameras. Remember that all of my cameras are actually indoors and facing out through the windows. It also gives me the option of deciding whether it will record any motion or just motion that occurs when there is a person in view of the camera. And that function works as when I checked a motion sensor event, there was always a human being walking by or even in a different apartment building yard. I don’t normally try to include any apartment spaces around me but that’s kind of impossible because everything is so close here in the city. But the fact is that works perfectly, records perfectly and only records when there is human motion activity. So the camera can tell the difference between a human and a garbage can falling over from the wind. That’s pretty cool. Setting up multiple cameras is very easy because it simply remembers the information on the app. I would recommend getting this camera over one of the blink cameras. I have a couple of them operating but they are nowhere near as sophisticated as the ring cameras. That’s just a fact. Of course these are also a little bit more expensive, but they are worth it. It cost about $10 per month to put unlimited cameras from one household on a cloud recording system which is a good safety backup feature in case someone would rob the apartment and also take the cameras. The quality of the picture and videos are superior and very clear even at a distance. When the motion detectors are activated a very bright blue light which is easily visible through windows and screens becomes apparent to anyone outside, even in bright daylight. It is so bright that I think it would scare anyone away pretty quickly. Remember that the blue light is only activated when a person comes in view of the camera. This would scare somebody away I believe. So the blue light is not always on which is good. It also works perfectly with Alexa and I do have it hooked up to my Alexa system. You can simply ask one of your Alexa video devices like the Echo Shows to show one of the cameras which can be named to anything that you want it to be named to simply by changing the name of each camera in the app. You can also show it on a larger screen that is hooked into any Alexa system. The controls for this camera are simply amazing. There are so many different things you can do with these cameras. I live by myself so when I am out of town, I face one of the cameras inwards so I can watch my apartment and cat. Otherwise, I never point my cameras inwards but face all of them out the windows. It even has a setting for doing just that even though they are indoor cameras. What I am trying to say is that the cameras have a setting for looking out a window from indoors so as not to be disturbed by reflections. Also very cool and sophisticated as well is easy to manipulate. So obviously Ring is prepared for people facing these cameras outside through indoor windows. They clearly thought of everything. I would highly recommend buying one or more of these over the cheaper blink cameras. I highly recommend these indoor cameras that run on USB power. Very easy set up for each camera or just use one.

The Ring Indoor Camera is super clear, easy to set up, and works instantly with my Ring app. The picture quality is sharp day and night, and I get motion alerts right away. Small, discreet, and perfect for keeping an eye on my home. Definitely worth it!

I actually end up buying two unit for my living room and master bed room. I thought the value was a good deal and fast shipping. This unit using hard wire cable so there is no battery life. That’s the only downfall is that everything included my self will see the wire. Other than that motion detection, quality and recording works really good. I like the fact I can add to my plan with the ring door bell and all use in one app. The other feature that this small camera has is the lens cover. We only open it when needed to monitor but other than that we close the cover for privacy. Also the bottom does have cushion pad and comes with screws if I wanted to mount the unit. Overall great ring indoor camera and small size too.

I love it. At first, I was concerned when I received it because the box was so small. But it is dynamite in a small package. It has clear video and was easy to set up to the phone and the computer. I took about 25 seconds and it was up and going. The motion detection is great and I had to silence motion alerts for it because it was going crazy. Mounting, I believe there is a mount for this for an angle or something. I did find the bottom of it to be difficult to put in place. The cord is heavier than the camera. But the camera covers a lot of square footage. I am really impressed by this and it is definitely value for the money as it was on sale through Amazon. The added security goes hand in hand with the front door bell then the dining room with this doorbell. I got this doorbell for my protection as I am disabled and have care in the home. I covered the blue spot that appears when you are motion detected and it is hidden like nothing is there. I am really impressed.
