This is an excellent Advent Calendar which has twenty four days of some fun plastic flower projects. Each “project” comes in a nice sized box (please see photos) with the pieces in small plastic bags. All seem to be well made, and colorful. This was an easy five star, fun product!

Until the last few years, I never even knew what an Advent Calendar was! I grew up celebrating Hanukkah and thought we had it best because we had 8 nights! However, these calendars are pretty cool.
I absolutely love almost any type of building blocks, but flowers are especially big for me. We have several bouquets of lego-type flowers around our home, made up of a combo of at least a dozen different sets from many different manufacturers. So, when I saw this “calendar,” I had to have it.
Unfortunately, this “calendar” is really just a box of boxes, but I’m still looking forward to assembling a flower every day for 24 days in a row. I celebrate Xmas with my bestie and her friend every year, so it’ll seem like I’m heading towards “the big day,” even though I don’t actually celebrate the holiday myself. If this had little squares to punch out it might be a little more fun, but it’s still good.
All of the boxes come with a bag of parts and individual instructions. While I haven’t put any of them together yet, assuming that they stay together and have more than 5 pieces, I think the price of $36 is fair as you’re getting 24 separate stems…that’s 2 dozen floral pieces for just $1.50 each. I also don’t think that you need to be female to enjoy this as many botanists are men, nor do I think you need to celebrate Xmas. Buy this for yourself or for someone you think will enjoy this. Repackage it if you don’t like the red/green/Santa motif. But most of all, Happy Holidays.

This advent calendar is beautifully packaged in a box designed for gift giving. Inside are little boxes which hold the build for the day. The printing on these boxes is uniform and well done. Inside the small box you will find a bag containing all of the pieces and instructions for how to construct it. The bag is even labeled with the corresponding day so if for some reason things get mixed up, you can sort them again.
From the first picture on the listing, I was kind of hoping there was a little race to put them all in. But there’s not. I give this four stars instead of five for a couple of reasons. The first is that on day one, one of the pieces was broken when I received it. There’s no way to attach anything to it. See photo number four.So that was kind of a bummer. If I was giving it as a gift, I would be sad that that happened to the recipient.
I randomly selected another box, and it did not have any broken pieces. However, with both of them, there were some connections that held too well and some that didn’t hold well at all. When I wanted to take it apart, so my daughter could put one together, I had to use pliers and a silicone glove to pull two pieces apart. Some of the connections that are loose, are for the flower buds or heads. Which I don’t want falling off and getting lost. Some of the connections that are loose, are for the flower buds or heads.
