The case is okay. However the actual case does not match what is shown in photos. The ring does not rotate 360 degrees at all. It just opens and closes.

I love the look and functionality of this case, because it looks like a Sexy Sports Car! This is a sturdy Military Grade case that has taken a bunch of accidental drops already and still looks great, with no scratches! The other years, I had bought from a Top Reputable company that sells Military Grade cases, but this year for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, the color and material was so awful, that for the first time I had returned it right away, and instead saw this and was in love with the look and finish, including it being Military Grade. This is a Great Purchase!

When new, this case looks beautiful. I have the Clear/Blue model and it is the most Beautiful Blue I have ever seen. I question its ability to withstand a 17ft drop as advertised. I dropped my phone while in this case and my screen protector was damaged on the corner. My biggest disappointment is that nearly every time the phone is dropped on a tile floor, the finish on the case is damaged. Instead of seeing the beautiful blue perimeter of the case, it looks like it has been in a war and the other team used a shotgun leaving damaged spots all over the border of the case. If you want a case to sustain drops without showing damage, don’t buy this case, HOWEVER; otherwise this is a Great case. The fold down kickstand is the best I have ever seen. It holds the phone up at any angle and doesn’t fall down. The charging capability using hands free mag safe style charging is excellent. Button functions are easy and responsive. The clear area of the case shows fingerprints easily leaving fanatics like myself constantly cleaning it. Overall I rate this case a solid 4.7 out of 5, only because of cosmetic damages. But then that is why we buy cases, to protect our phones. Perhaps 2-3 more coats of clear over the final color will help it withstand drops better to satisfy discerning people like myself. This case has definitely done its job , it’s protected my phone through multiple drops, looks great, and even comes with some cool stickers. I really like the built-in kickstand, and the overall feel of the case is solid.
However, one important detail to be aware of: the magnetic functionality only works through the kickstand, not the actual ring around the Apple logo. So if the kickstand ever breaks, the case won’t hold onto a magnetic mount at all. That’s something to keep in mind if you’re relying on MagSafe or similar mounts regularly. My kids accidentally broke the kickstand after a few days and now it doesn’t mount to a magsafe mount,

Overall, it’s a good case with thoughtful features, but the magnetic design could be more robust.

This case is gorgeous and luxury looking, fit very well on 17 Pro Max, too bad they don’t have the color I want for 17 Pro Max. Easy to install, nice looking and clarity, the kickstand is remarkable plus this case keep my phone protection.
