I gave it four stars because overall I’m judging on the taste. First, the texture: texture is a cross between a Swedish fish and gummy worms. It’s more sticky than gummies but not as flexible as gummies. If that makes sense. I’ve never had Turkish delights, so I don’t know if this is the texture it’s truly suppose to be. It doesn’t stick to your teeth though. Taste: they all literally taste the same. Maybe two of them have a different fruit flavor but they all essentially taste the same. A bit fruity and very sweet. Quality: I can’t tell if it’s fresh or not as I’ve never had Turkish delights to really know a difference but it’s not hard candy. I’ve seen videos where people get hard batches so I’m assuming it’s decent quality. I wanted to try Turkish delights so I got this. Overall I liked it but don’t think I’ll be getting anymore in the future. I don’t think it’s my thing. I was expecting the texture to be a bit more gummy and bouncy.

I love these candies, they remind me of candies I used to get as a child. Only the flavors are a little more grown-up. And after the candies are gone, the metal box can be used for all sorts of stuff! The candies are always fresh when I get them. They are, of course, all sugar. I think the quality is excellent.

I was curious about what it tasted like. It tastes like Japanese mochi. Basically it’s a European mochi. Different taste but the texture is similar. Japanese mochi is more soft and lightly flavored, this Turkish delight has a stronger flavor and it’s more chewy and not as soft. But it’s delicious. I wonder how fresh Turkish delight tastes like.
