Overall it is not bad, but there is a difference in build quality and tolerance real Lego products have that this one is lacking. The instruction are also not as easy as they could be, I found myself stuck at several points because the instructions do not have proper perspective. Once assembled it is pretty neat and I have no complaints but as an engineer who builds Nixie Tube clocks, guitar pedals and sometimes Lego Technic kits this kit was much harder and challenging.

I wasn’t sure how good this would be since it’s not Lego brand, but it exceeded my expectations! The pieces are of very great quality and go together very well. The sticker are great quality too. The instructions are detailed and easy to follow. The lights also surprised me, but they didn’t show you how to hide the loose wires. I hid most in the cabinet. It has two ways to power the lights, a battery pack thay looks like a brick, and a USB to plug into a charger. I ran the USB wire behind the wall and through the floor to give it a cleaner look. No mini figures come with it, but I’m going to make my own Cousin Eddie for it

I love the movie Christmas Vacation and this product was good and fun to build. The only problem was the lights instructions, the instructions for the lights was so confusing frustrating and stupid, I just did it my own way and at the end it came out great. Everything else was great and I loved the results. If you buy this set don’t follow the exact instructions for the lights just do it your way, It’s hard to go into detail but hopefully you’ll figure it out like I did.

You can literally see the defects from the mold…. every piece has stud defects you can ACTUALLY SEE…..if i can see it then the company can see it and is knowingly selling defective products…the pieces are the worst of the knock off lego ive purchased and sadly ive bought some true garbage…the set is SO WARPED there’s gaps between things, like the side door and wall has a HUGE gap because of how bad the pieces fit….i have countless LEGO sets and never an issue but unfortunately if i want something lego doesn’t make im stuck with these knock off companies who just dont put out quality…..my own fault for not learning my lesson…and im missing the light set and decals with zero way to contact the company and amazon was no help other than ship it back….i just want the missing stuff….the set is built and i glued it to keep it together…if seller sends me ,missing items i will change my review….
