I have purchased this dental ultrasonic cleaner to use for cleaning my retainer, and I have found it works quite well. The cleaner uses 45,000Hz ultrasonic technology and comes with 4 built in UV lights that work to penetrate and remove various plaque, gunk and odors from small cracks in your dental device and can act as a disinfecting tool. So far the results have been excellent, as the retainer always comes out clean, shiny, and free from stains, plaque, and has no smell either, and can even be used to clean other small objects such as toothbrush heads, dentures, cases and personal items such as make up brushes. This UV ultrasonic cleaner is easy to use and comes with various different features and modes you can customize such as the duration of the cleaning and if you want to enable both the ultrasonic cleaning or the additional UV cleaning function as well. Another thing I like about this device is that it is a very good size, the actual tray is 200 ml so it is able to easily fit almost all dental devices but small enough so it can still be kept on a bathroom sink without taking up too much space. This cleaner comes with different ports in the lid, making it very easy to use on different goods such as toothbrushes, razors, etc and I find that it works very quietly so it can be used at nighttime. I can’t attest to the UV lights because I have no way of knowing if it’s actually killing bacteria, but if the ultrasonic cleaner works, then it’s probably safe to assume the UV lights work as well. It’s well worth the price!

This product helped me ultra clean my retainer. I’ve been using a toothbrush and paste to clean my retainer, but as time passed, there were things even the toothbrush couldn’t clean. I got this to try out and see if it will remove buildup that the toothbrush couldn’t get out. It worked great! Good addition to the routine. Rather than ineffectually scrubbing (and probably damaging) my mouth guard with a toothbrush, I can let this machine clean while I floss and brush.
Seems to work well. It’s a bit loud though. First unit was faulty but I got a replacement.
I wish that water basin was removable. The ports to stick toothbrush heads are a nice touch, but the plastic covers are translucent and not fully sealed, so I worry helpful UV-C radiation could be leaking while in use.
