Make your outdoor cats feel so boujee with THIS weatherproof outdoor heated cat house with both an entry & exit door for extra safety. I also have โThe Kitty Tube Pillow – Outdoor Insulated Cat Houseโ, which is the really big black hard plastic barrel-like enclosure with a heating pad with only ONE entrance/exit door that was much more expensive. The feral kitties had been using that, but as soon as I got THIS heated cat house, my main feral kitty packed her bags and moved into her new digs. THIS cat house was more affordable and functions better. It gives an extra advantage of safety with the escape door in the back in addition to the entry door in the front. Itโs smaller than the other enclosure I have so I think that keeps it warmer with the heating pad. It was easy to assemble and keeps the kitties warm and healthy in any weather.

Right out of the box, Iโm very disappointedโฆ. This particular house, while sturdyโฆ does not open at the top or side. Only way to clean the unit is through either of the doors. All the other clawsable units have an opening on the top or side. This one does not. Might be ok for an indoor cat, but with feral or barn outdoor cats (one is ultimately going to โmarkโ the inside), you canโt open the unit to clean it out. For the price point, very disappointing.

I have two semi-feral cats I inherited with the house. They are tough, but needed a warm bed for harsh winters and a dry place in the rain. This house is perfect. Even has an escape flap in the back if a predator desides to enter. Built in Heating Pad is perfect for Winter. Very rugged and stays dry due to gabled entry and flaps. Well worth the price.

I bought this for a neighborhood cat that seems to have adopted us, but won’t come inside. The structure was lighter than I expected, less substantial. But, I like it anyway for our situation. I like that it has the “back door” as we have had racoons, skunks, foxes and mountain lions in our area of Salt Lake City. The included heating pad is a great bonus, and has been working well. The inside remains dry regardless of amount of precipitation so far. We’ve had it a few months, and so far it has been great for her. She is always in there when I call her, and seems to love it!

Iโm very impressed with the quality, the exterior is a very thick tarp like material and roof and floor are made of thick plastic boards that slip in between the double layer tarp. Itโs very simple to assemble. The heated mat is soft and the cord for it is fairly long.
A word of CAUTION: it is much smaller than it looks! It is roomy enough for two small to mid sized cats. The photo is a bit deceiving. Aside from that, itโs a great product.
