This is a really nice glue gun. It charges and heats up quickly and dispenses smoothly. It can be used cordless or corded and is comfortable enough to hold for long periods of time. The trigger is much easier on the hands than conventional triggers. It works well on all types of surface. It does not come with a charger, case or cord, but even so, it’s still well-worth the price.

I use a heat gun constantly in my craft room for various projects for hours a day. I bought this, along with another senior automatic heat gun that I could rotate throughout the day. Right out of the package, this looked to be of great quality. It’s built week and heavy duty. It comes with several sticks and charged fairly fast. I put it straight to work! It did well for the first few projects, but after 4 or 5 uses, I noticed it quickly began to cool significantly, not holding the temp quite as well as first started. Then things just went downhill from there. Glue ended up binding on the end of the gun, not feeding properly and the temp was fluctuating causing lumps of glue and runs at different times and seemingly activating by itself. I was really wanting to fall in love with the ease of operation of this little gun, but it just didn’t do it for me. Back to the old style I go. Hopefully they will come out with something like this that can actually hold up to significant use in the future because it’s a great idea.

I contacted HOTO’s customer service, and they were very helpful. They sent me a replacement quickly after some troubleshooting.

I avoided buying this because I bought the typical $4 standard glue gun. However, that one has the issue with refilling where it won’t catch and you have to manually push then glue stick through.
I need to use a glue gun weekly so it’s frequent enough to justify buying a nicer version.
This one heats up quickly, works well transitioning between glue sticks, and usually applies consistently. If left on it will drip.
Overall, best glue gun I’ve used and I would recommend it if you’re doing frequent projects.
