I bought this as a gift for my nephew for Christmas. He specifically asked for this brand. He opened it on Christmas day and it was immediately put to use. Based on the size, you would think it would not get loud enough, but you would be wrong in thinking this. The sound quality is incredible. And bonus, its magnetic!!!! Didn’t know this when I bought it but that feature did get put to use. It is quite a costly item, but the craftsmanship is worth every penny.

Love the Turtlebox Ranger 5.4 speaker. It took all of 5 minutes to sync the bluetooth with our phones and laptop. The only glitch was that the charging cable had 2 USB-C ends. I had to buy the adapter to plug it into the wall outlet. Music quality was excellent. The unit is extremely portable due to its light weight. We haven’t had it long enough to test the battery life, but so far it is holding out on the first charge with about 10 hours of use and down from 5 lights to 3. It is a rugged unit and doesn’t need to be babied. We used it outdoors at 20 degrees.

OK, I totally understand the hype around these now. SO SO SO GOOD!! the sucker is loud for it. Size and the magnet is super strong and can stick to just about anything. Super easy to use. I highly recommend it to anyone on the fence. Just buy it.

AWESOME SOUND. Compared to the larger version it has great sound as well. They feel like they’d hold up to just about anything! The colors are nice but would love if they had more color options & or maybe even some designs. The battery life is good & they are very easy to use. They aren’t bulky, but you can feel their weight, like they aren’t cheaply made. Also, cool feature with the magnets. You can just stick it on & it stays. 10/10 recommend!

Great sound and can play quite loudly. Somewhat heavy but the weight makes it sturdy so we are ok with that. We have taken it to the beach and gotten it wet and works like a champ.

Probably the best speaker I’ve owned. The magnet mounts are a game changer. Rugged, versatile, and high quality. The sound is loud and clear. I play the music it 40%, and its the perfect volume. The only gripe I have it the sound is not omnidirectional. The high and Middle range come out the front, and the sub is in the back. So it’s not a center of the party type of speaker.

I’m a pretty casual music listener—mostly backyard fire pit nights, hanging out at the park, and even using it near the hot tub—and this speaker has been perfect for that. The Turtlebox Ranger delivers clear, full sound with plenty of volume, without being harsh or distorted. I have two of them and they are easy to pair together for surround sound.
I’m upgrading from a very old JBL speaker, and while that JBL was from a different generation of Bluetooth speakers, the Ranger is a noticeable step up in sound quality and overall build. Everything sounds cleaner and more balanced, and it feels solid and well made.
If you’re looking for a great speaker for relaxed outdoor use rather than super technical listening, this one hits the sweet spot. I’m really happy with it and would absolutely recommend it. You technical people will probably like it too, but I can’t speak to that!!

Great sound lasts all day, even at max volume. Stays connected to my phone even at longer distances than other speakers I’ve used. The magnets are great for working. I can keep the speaker close and, most importantly, off the ground where it could be run over.
