I was a little worried at first because the top part comes in two pieces, but once it was assembled, it felt solid and seamless. The Veken 55-Inch Electric Standing Desk serves its primary function well. It allows for smooth transitions between sitting and standing positions. It was easy to assemble. The electric motor operates quietly, and the desk’s compact size is ideal for smaller spaces, making it a good fit for my home office.
However, there are a couple of drawbacks. The desk’s build quality is not as sturdy as I had hoped, and I encountered an issue with mounting my dual monitors. The desk features a plastic opening that obstructs the installation of a standard monitor mount, which was a significant inconvenience.
While the desk meets basic standing desk needs and does not occupy excessive space, the lack of durability and limited mounting options are important considerations.

Easily assembled and very strong. The surface is also easy to clean. We bought this for my daughter to paint on and it makes it very convenient. The lift motor is strong and the spinning area is well concealed to prevent injury or cords getting caught. 10/10 recommend.
