Glad I spent the $20 on this speaker. It has good weight to it, so it is not cheaply made. The rubberized flap that covers the charging port is nice and thick and fits very snuggly. It sounds good. It’s not a bass monster but has a decent low end. I got it to listen to music and videos on my phone, as the sound quality and volume from the phone is not good. I got it 1 day ago and was listening to music for a few hours and really happy with the sound. This speaker can get really loud. Then I got the bright idea to bluetooth it to my tv. I always have to turn my tv up really loud to hear it from my bed. Now I have the audio really close. Don’t have to turn it up so loud and the sound quality is so much better than the tv. I can actually watch without subtitles! The speaker came fully charged and I have been using it for hours and still haven’t had to charge it. It’s pretty cool that it has multiple glow light settings too. All in all, so far, it has been a great purchase. The charger is standard usb and you will need a block to plug it in to, so make sure you have one of those.

Seriously, I adore this speaker. I originally bought it to use at work but as a school employee it came home with me over the summer and I use it all the time! I listen to audiobooks constantly and this thing goes outdoors with me daily to sit in the yard and listen, then back in while I’m doing housework, until evening when I listen before bed. We take it out during backyard bonfires to listen to music and despite its size, it sounds amazing! There is no tinny sound and the bass is surprisingly deep. My ONLY complaint it the light feature. It turns on when you power the speaker on and you have to click the button 4 times to cycle through and turn it off completely. It should be opposite I would think, having to turn it ON at startup but what do I know? The lights themselves when on at night are nice fireside but I never leave them on during the day as it’s jilts more drain on the battery. Hooray for it being type C to charge though! Charges quickly and lasts a good while. So yeah, I may have to buy a second one for work so I can keep this one at home when school starts back up. If you need a decent little speaker for a great price this is it.

Nice rich sound from each speaker. Volume controls have a nice range. I had to turn them down outside so we could hear each other talk. Can use inside for surround sound.
Ease of use:
These were literally plug and play. Bluetooth connectivity was quick and stayed connected unlike my former Apple speaker. Have connected to several devices without issues.
Pairing:
Followed the instructions in the box and had paired in a few seconds. So far they have stayed paired. I’ve turned them off and moved them all over the property.
Building quality:
Great construction. Has light options that you can change. Carry cord attaches to the end. It’s the size of a wristlet.

Best 22 bucks I’ve spent on a speaker. The lights are really cool, and the sound is very clear. Not too much lower end but the vocals sound really good and rock/metal music sounds great on them. But for the price the sound is superb. The water resistant is good too. It’s been out in the rain and has endured well. The size is nice too because it’s easy to carry around and has a nice strap. It’s very Portable and light which I like. The color choices are nice too. It’s easy to scratch but doesn’t feel too cheap for the price. I totally recommend this speaker! I use it for my students in my special Ed classroom.

This Bluetooth speaker is very nice! I had to replace some cheap outdated ones I’ve had for over 5 years. This one comes with a wrist strap to make it easy to carry around without fear of dropping. Also it’s small yet mighty! Perfect for my apartment!

It’s a speaker. I don’t care about dust proof or water proof. Or stupid color lights I turn off every time it comes on. I care about how it sounds….. average. And with this product, I also care about how after 15 mins or so of no sound coming from whatever it’s connected to, it turns itself off. That’s annoying enough, but it does it with very loud (much louder than the bluetooth sound) noises. When you sigh in aggravation and turn it back on, you get another melody of very loud sounds. There’s no way to disengage the auto shut off and no way to get rid of the annoying on/off sounds. Wouldn’t have bought it if I had known this. I was just looking for a good speaker. This one is average and with the extra annoyances, it’s not worth the money.

I grabbed this speaker mostly to use outside while grilling and messing around in the garage, and it ended up being way better than I expected. For a little Bluetooth speaker it actually sounds really good. It gets plenty loud and the bass has a nice little punch to it. Not shake the windows bass, but definitely enough that the music doesn’t sound flat.
Bluetooth connected to my phone in about two seconds and has stayed connected without any drama. I appreciate when tech just works the way it’s supposed to. No weird setup, no fighting with it, just turn it on and go.
Battery life has been great too. I’ve used it for a few hours at a time while grilling and hanging out outside and it keeps going without needing to be charged right away.

This is such an amazing little Bluetooth speaker. Received after 5 am and tested immediately. I can’t believe how clear and loud it is. From its initial performance, I would highly recommend!
Someone might find this helpful, and that is, the flashing lights on the ends can be controlled. You can stop it from flashing, select a specific color or turn them off completely. Initially I wasn’t going to order because of them. After reading reviews about the sound quality, I ordered anyways. I should have checked the description to see if it mentioned anything about that.

I use it for voice streaming, didn’t try music. Sounds really good, clear language, not too much bass or treble. It’s impressively easy to get it going, was fast to pair. It functions as expected, I didn’t need to read the short easy instructions. The buttons are easy to see and press. Making sure it’s fully charged for first time didn’t take long. The indications are that a full charge lasts longest at half volume with USB plugged in qq, at full volume it’s estimating 2 hours if not plugged in to charge, 3 hours with USB in.

The size is fun and very portable. The sound is good. You can turn off the flashing lights if you don’t want them. We connected it to our TV and improved the sound of all the shows tremendously. We have a Samsung TV and it connected with no problem – very compatible. Installation is super easy – just connect with Bluetooth. Quick an d easy to charge and the charge lasts a long time – not even sure how long as we are still on our first charge and we use it daily for an hour or 2.

This was a Christmas gift for my wife, and lucky for me, she loves it! Charged it right out of the box, then she did the blue tooth connection, it was straightforward and paired quickly to my wife’s phone. She takes it all over the house and listens to audio books, podcasts, and her favorite Latina music. The sound is great and gets loud in a hurry. In fact last weekend we had it outside while washing the cars. Volume was great, sound was clear, and we didn’t have to worry at all about getting it sprayed by water. Value is definitely there.

I ordered my first one two years ago, and it lived until now. It’s been dropped, banged around, left in a hot car… Surviving two years and a month is pretty good for how hard a life I gave it, for $20. It’s loud enough to rattle the floor, and I have never had any sound quality or connection issues until the end. The first one is even still alive, but only holds a few hours of charge. The new one seems just as good as the first in new condition.

Great product! I’m sure if you bought a $100 Bose speaker the sound quality would be better, but honestly the sound quality on this is pretty good. The volume gets nice and loud, connectivity was super simple, and the ease of use is great. The color options are cool and the lights are a really nice touch.

I originally picked up this BolaButty Bluetooth speaker for my wife to use at work during in house meetings so she could easily connect and play audio. The installation was basically nonexistent, just pair it and go, which made setup super quick.
For its size, this thing puts out some serious power. The sound quality is surprisingly strong and clear, easily filling a room without sounding tinny. It handled presentations really well and made everything more professional.
The controls are simple and easy to use, which is great when you don’t want to fumble around mid meeting. Overall functionality is exactly what you’d want from a portable speaker, reliable and straightforward.
Now here’s the part that says it all. Someone liked it so much they decided to permanently “borrow” it from her desk. So I ended up buying a second one. That alone should tell you everything you need to know.

The main reason I’m writing this is because last week my daughter had this speaker out near our hot tub, she got out put the lid on the hot tub and unknowing dropped the speaker in. A week later we went out to use the hot tub and it was floating on the top! Took it out and tossed it to the side and figured it was goner. Few days later about to throw it away and for curiosity I turned it on and it works perfectly fine. No weird sounds, just as great as before! This is a must purchase!
