This specific shredder is amazing. It takes less then a few minutes to cut up chicken, no matter how much you are doing. I use to fork shred, blender shred and chop the chicken before this. I really wish I had gotten this sooner. Takes me less time and I couldn’t be more pleased. Works on fresh out the oven chicken, from the fridge cold. Obviously don’t try to cut raw, that’s not gonna work. It literally sticks to the counter without leaving any residue behind. The two know twist handles, are perfect size too. I gave it four stars only because it takes a bit to clean it. It comes with a brush for that but there are some spots that a cloth or paper towel folded are needed to wipe. Other then that, this would be a great gift for someone, especially if they do a lot of shredding. I haven’t tried it for anything else, but I. Aure it would work.

This is so easy to use! It works on more than just chicken too, I’ve used on roast beef and I’m sure it would work on pork too. It’s easy to clean, just use the little fork that come with it to get all the food out and then put in the dishwasher. It holds pretty well to the counter and doesn’t slide around. It’s not heavy at all. I think even a child would be able to use it with supervision from an adult.

Best shredder every. This is so easy to use and to clean up. I highly recommend having one in your kitchen. I’m a caterer and this saves me so much time.

This works great and shreds chicken easily! The size holds one chicken breast. I will buy more for gifts!

This is a great chicken shredder, it holds two decent sized pieces of chicken [Breast or thighs] at a time and shreds them almost instantly. It takes about two swings of the shredder left-right-left-right to fully shred the chicken. It comes with a cleaning brush and a small fork which must be to allow you to removed small pieces of chicken from the two holes for the handles. Assembly is simple just snap in the two handles and you are done, suction or traction to the counter is excellent. I highly recommend this product. There is exactly ONE improvement that could be made easily and that is to close off the bottom of the handle holes though that may also require at least one hole in the top of the handle to promote drying. Tried this yesterday for the first time and absolutely love it. I bought a rotisserie chicken from Costco and took some pieces from the chicken and laid them in the tray and put the top on and the bottom hugged the counter quite well. I did a half rotation to the left and then back to the right and did that several times and the meat was properly shredded perfectly. I used my little electric mulcher afterwards but it ended up making the meat almost a paste. If you just want shredded meat for dips whether it’s chicken or shredded pork or any other kind of meat like that this is a perfect simple tool for it and the brush and tiny cleansing fork that came with it was perfect to remove the pieces of the meat from the teeth. Extremely easy to clean, a very sturdy product and I believe it will last quite a while.

I watched a video on YouTube with Nicole from AllRecipes. She was testing out kitchen gizmos whether they worked and she liked them or not. When she demonstrated this chicken shredder, I was skeptical at first, but when she showed how it worked, I was like…hmmm I sure could use that if it works as well and as fast as she showed. I like my chicken shredded more than chunks when I cook. So I took a look on Amazon and since it wasn’t real expensive I thought I’d give it a go. Now I use it all the time! It’s designed perfectly. Every time I make soups, casseroles and anything that calls for cut-up chicken. I love it. If you have a lot to shred, just put it in there in batches. It’s so quick. So happy to actually find something out there in gizmo land that actually works, is super easy and super fast to use. It makes your shredded chicken perfectly shredded into whatever size you want. If you want it finely shredded for perhaps barbecue shredded chicken, you just keep twisting the handles. It doesn’t take a whole lot of twists to get it there quickly. It goes in the dishwasher (top rack) and even comes with a little fork and brush to clean it. So happy with this one! Highly recommend this brand and seller.

I was hesitant to buy one of these meat shredders because I thought that they would be awkward to use and slide all over the place while attempting to use it. I was wrong to worry because it really works great and so easy to use. I’ve only used it on chicken so far, but it shreds chicken very easily and quickly. Also, the large fits a lot on top of it which I was a pleasant surprise.

I really wasn’t sure what to expect with this shredder, but I am pleasantly surprised. Not only does it look good and is easy to operate, it actually works better than advertised. I was able to shred a 1lb chicken breast in less than 30 seconds. The rubber bottom held tightly to the counter, allowing no slipping at all. The blades easily shredded the cooked chicken, now I look forward to trying other meats for pulled pork and beef. The added cleaning utensils are a plus. I highly recommend it.

I LOVE this product. I had been considering buying it for awhile, but hesitated as I wasn’t sure how effective it would be and I could already shred chicken with forks. This does the job SO much faster. You can’t overfill it or it won’t shred right, but it shreds each batch in 10 seconds, so easy to do more than one batch if needed. Sometimes it’s a bit of a pain to pick the chicken out from between the teeth, but that’s a minor inconvenience for how much easier this makes it to shred chicken. Love love love this product and tell everyone every time I pull it out to use.

I saw a video and the shredder looked like it would be easy to shred the chicken. I could do it better with two forks. Chicken did shred but had lots of big pieces still. Maybe it’s me, but it’s just another gadget I won’t use again. It did shred though. Came with a cleaning brush and small fork…you are going to need it for cleaning. It was made well and didn’t seem cheap. I would recommend to others as it did work somewhat. Price was good.

The chicken shredder is easy to use and does a great job in a very short period of time. So much easier than using a fork. Easy to clean and the pads on the bottom help keep it in place while shredding.
