I recently purchased an iPhone 16 and needed a case to protect it. The color was exactly as shown and the price was great. I like the fact that it was easy to use and it’s a soft cover. The additional camera cover was a plus. Instructions were included but you don’t need them. I highly recommend this case from this seller.

Very good quality, perfect fit

Pretty nice case. The black gives good contrast to my Cosmic Orange iPhone 17 Pro. It’s like a SF Giants phone case, lol. Sides aren’t too slippery and the back seems fairly finger print resistant. Camera Control Button works well with the case as does the other button. Good quality at a decent price. My Magsafe portable charger sticks okay to the back … could be tighter but does the trick. Not sure if it’s the case or the charger’s magnets that aren’t super strong.

Seems like a quality case. It fits great and the magnet is very strong. I got it for my new 16e that doesn’t have MagSafe. ESR products are always good value. I recommend it.

This is a very good phone case. It fits nicely on my iPhone and I love the sparkle it gives off. The only draw back is that the case will begin to yellow over a period of time. This is the second one I have ordered because of it. I don’t know if it’s possible to find a clear case that won’t.

I am shocked at how well the camera control cover works on this case. Considering the button is a touch sensitive surface, I wasn’t expecting it to work well. However, it works exactly as the phone does without a case, except you have to put a bit more pressure on the button to access your “half press” controls (zoom, aperture, lenses, or whatever you would like to set it to.) The back panel covering the glass on the pro models has less grip than I would like, but the sides are much better, and the camera bump provides a nice point to stabilise the phone with. Speaking of the harder plastic back panel, it does get fingerprints quite quickly. Thankfully they wipe off with no residue with a shirt, microfibre cloth, etc. The magnets are very strong and require deliberate shaking for the phone to come loose. The corner protection means the phone will bounce if dropped, but they aren’t nearly as large and intrusive as some other cases. Having only used it for a week, I can’t speak to the yellowing. But regardless, the protection and function are excellent. All clear cases will yellow, might as well get one that works well…

When buying a new iPhone, most people give careful consideration to the desired color. As such, it strikes me as odd to see cases on phones that totally hide the underlying color. It’s all a matter of personal taste. As for me, the choice is always a clear case that allows that carefully selected factory color to show through as Apple intended.

With that said, how does this ESR Clear Case measure up to fulfilling that objective?

The case fits snugly, with excellent bumpers on the corners, around the camera lenses, over and around the new plateau, and along the screen’s edges for protection when placed face down.

Installation of the case was easy, with all of the necessary holes and button covers aligning perfectly. Button functionality, including the Camera Control, works as it should. The ESR case places a conductive cover over the Camera Control button, as opposed to just leaving a cutout as some other cases do. A nice touch.

The grip, when holding the phone, is not tacky—as with a rubberized case—but is far less slippery than the natural metal edges of the phone. Overall, the case has a thick and sturdy feel. I’ve not had it long enough to assess the “anti-yellowing” claim, but so far, no issues. The feel of the case seems quite durable and protective.

MY COMPLAINT:
My one complaint is with the transparency of this “clear” case. Viewed closely, the inner surface has a tiny pattern of dots throughout. Research suggests that this pattern of microdots acts as spacers, allowing airflow and breaking up contact points to avoid air pockets or full-surface contact, which makes it appear as if moisture, oil, or bubbles are trapped between the case and phone.

The dots may be functional for their intended purpose, but in doing so, they create an undesired side effect. Specifically, they dull the natural color of the phone, appearing more Creamsicle than “Cosmic Orange.” Not sure this comes across well in the attached photos. Also, I have attempted to show the dot pattern in a close-up photo.

CONCLUSION:
The fit, function, protection, and quality of the case are excellent. The muted colors—due to the dot pattern—are my only complaint. When browsing for other cases, there is no way to be sure whether they will likewise have the dots or not. Regardless, I have yet to find an alternative clear case that matches the protection level of the ESR case. The “Cover Guard”—a protective edge around and over the new plateau—is a great feature, providing an extra degree of protection for the underlying anodized surface rather than just a bumper around it.

Bottom line: I highly recommend the ESR Clear Case so long as you make the purchase fully aware of the micro-dot pattern and the way in which it alters the underlying color on your phone.

Now I know why 148,000 people have purchased this case–it’s really great! I’ve never had a clear case before, but after my wife got her, I decided this was for me–no regrets!

After years of paying $20-30 for cases that were bulky, I finally found one under $15 that looks great and provides some good protection for my phone.

With the iPhone 17 Pro I really wanted to make sure my camera lenses had decent protection and this case provides a lip around the entire camera bump, and the bump itself is covered.

This case also allows wireless charging and for the attachment of magnetic items like the magnetic ring I purchased to use as a stand and holder.

My other big like for this case is the fact it has the right amount of ‘grip’ for me–not too grippy, so I can slide it in and out of pockets without it taking material with it and I can still hold on to it without it feeling like it’s going to slip out of my hands.

I’m really pleased with the purchase and performance of this protective case!

I love this case. It fits snugly. It is easy to grip, doesn’t slide out of your hand. It works great with my MagSafe charger. I bought a second as a back-up. I had purchased a different case with a circular metal stand that acted as the charging ring. My phone got so hot on the back where the charger was attached that I immediately stopped using that case I thought at first it was the offbrand Apple approved charger that I had bought so I decided to spend the extra money and get the Apple MagSafe charger. It was not the charger. It was the phone case this case has a little guide for where you place your MagSafe charger and that is really all you need. The stand was a nice feature but not at the cost of ruining my $1300 phone.

One of the best iPhone cases. The case is highly durable and rugged enough to protect my phone when I drop it. The clear back and blue color continue to look great after months of use, and the magsafe ring is strong enough for all of my magsafe accessories.

Super cute durable, grip is good. i have only had it for a bit but its protecting my iPhone well, the color is good. i can use all the buttons fine. easy to take on and off. but study enough to not fall off or anything.
