Our 5 yr old son is CONSTANTLY asking us to use our phones to make videos or take pictures. Leaving us with all this crazy stuff on our phones! Lol I thought maybe he would like to have his own camera and i was right! This is the perfect camera for your young, first time photographer. It fits really well in little hands. The touch screen on the back is large, and easy to maneuver through the options on the camera. It has a couple little games in it. But what’s great is that it also takes videos with sound!!! There are some filters to use on your pictures also. Everything is basically one button to operate. Not complicated at all. And the BEST feature?? You can PRINT out the photos that you take! The camera comes with 3 rolls of photo paper that you insert inside the camera. Follow the included instructions! Even if you are POSITIVE you know how to set it up and put the paper in, read them! Good way to avoid an upset little one when the camera doesn’t work because you did something wrong! Lol When you turn the cameras print option on, once you take a pictures, about 2 seconds later the paper starts to roll out of the top of the camera through the slot. Once it stops, you can tear the paper off on the serated edge(not dangerous)…and you immediately have your black and white photo in your hands!! The pictures you take in the camera are in color but print B & W. They are pretty clear and good quality images as far a camera like this would print. Remember it’s not a $2000 camera! Lol Our son LOVES IT! There are printed photos all over the house! Lol. (Even ones of me when I wasn’t paying attention sad to say…frightening!! Lol) So, if your little one loves to take their own pictures and videos, this is the perfect little starter camera for them. And it’s something you can do together with your little one! And finally…don’t forget the matching case for your camera! And make sure you buy the case that fits the size of the camera you get. You will want to protect this new camera! Camera also comes with charging cables and quick release carry strap and 3 rolls of film. It also comes with a memory card to store the pics you take. A great deal for the price IMO!

This kids’ toy camera is a great size, and the blue color is super cute. While it’s more of a toy than a real camera, it’s reasonably priced and offers some fun features. It can print photos on demand or store them for later, and it also includes filters and games, which my 7-year-old son loves. The photo print quality is poor—you can just make out what the photos are of—but it’s still enjoyable for a child. However, the photo printer paper is tricky to tear off, and my son often ends up ripping the photos. Despite this, he’s had a lot of fun with it!

I love this camera and so does my 5 year old! It’s perfect for a kid, because the technology of the thermal printing makes it extremely cheap to “maintain.” My kid loves to take pictures of everything and print multiple copies and we don’t seem to run out of paper. It’s the perfect intro camera to give them the joy of the instant prints, but not have the expensive of a full on Polaroid while they still master their photo taking skills. The camera also has the ability to take videos, add filters to photos and there are games on it as well. It is bulky enough to not get lost, but also light weight and easy to toss in a backpack. Perfect for travel or the back seat. I highly recommend this as a cheap gift that they will actually love to play with. It’s a great way to spark creativity for the kids that don’t like to color, draw or paint

I bought this forth my niece for Christmas and it was a total hit. By chance she opened this first and there was no interest in other gifts after. She took a little while to figure out how to print the pictures and tare the printouts from the camera, but the soon took to it. The controls on the back allow for lots of creative freedom for the little user but learning to use this might take a little bit.
The SD card in the camera is great because it is possible to save pictures to the computer taken from her perspective. These will be fun to share with her in the future. Just to note it is possible for the user to mistakenly reformat the SD card so it might be wise to backup the SD card more often than not.
My niece is almost five for reference on age of the child this was gifted to. From the picture you can see she has decorated her camera extensively. I like that there is space to be creative not just with the pictures but the camera itself.
There are hundreds of fun pictures printed out all over my sister’s house. Including a number of very flattering early morning shots. We all look our best when photographed from a five years olds perspective minutes after waking up.
The low cost of printing gives my niece the chance to all the hard copies she wants at a negligible cost because of the thermal printing paper. I have the printer paper refills on subscribe and save, I drop them off as a gift each month to my niece and she is very happy.
Before wrapping: If you are confident this is a gift your little one will like consider opening and charging the camera (USB C) before returning to the box and wrapping. There was a little kid meltdown when the camera ran out of juice just before lunch. The combination of hungry and camera out of battery was not ideal, though it was quick to charge and post lunch the pictures were printing again.

I love this camera. It’s been so fun to take to social events. People love the novelty of printing the photo off and taking it with them. You have the option to print every photo you take or just save to the memory card, so if you run out of “film” just snap photos and print the keepers later.
This camera has a timer option, cute filters and multi-shot. It also has video, MP3 and games, but I’ve not really used those functions at all. The battery lasts a decent amount of time. I’ve had it a couple weeks now and I pull it out any opportunity I get and I’m still on the first full charge. The charging port is a USB-C and it will still take photos while charging. I tried it while hooked up to a battery pack. It comes with a 32gb micro SD card (which is more than enough space for the resolution of the photos) and three rolls of paper. If you print too many photos at once, it will overheat and pop up an error message, but I’ve only run into this issue once when I took a group photo then tried to print 8 copies of the photo back to back. Just snapping photos leisurely, I’ve not run into the issue.
Personally, I don’t think the print quality is terrible, but I also firmly understand it’s printing pictures on receipt paper so my bar is very low. They are grainy, black and white photos, but I personally find them very charming. I know the photos will eventually fade just due to the nature of thermal print paper, but I’ve been scanning the ones I really love. 🙂
Great camera for kids OR adults honestly and for the price of the camera and the paper? Can’t beat it. I have a instax mini and the price of each photo weighs heavily on my mind with every photo I take. With this camera, who cares if it turns out? Each roll of paper costs about a dollar and prints probably 100 photos. (bonus pointer, the prints fit very nicely into those plastic 35 stick gum purse packs. I had so many of them loose in my bag I had to find something to store them in an that worked perfect!)
I really can’t recommend this camera more to anyone with kids or anyone who wants cute but cheap novelty photos.

Picked this up last Christmas for a 7 year old. This was so easy for her to use and she loved having her own camera. The print speed is pretty quick and the quality is great. Just like any digital camera it has to be he’d still when taking a picture to get a good quality image. It was easier for the 7 year old than the 3 year old to do. It has a pretty good size memory inside of the camera and we didn’t need to delete any old pictures until about a week after daily use. All of the accessories worked great. Definitely attack the strap so it doesn’t get dropped and broken but it is a pretty sturdy camera and can take some abuse. Pictures are not in color but for the price that is fine with me. She still loved the camera and uses it regularly almost a year later.

This camera is really great. My wife and I decided to buy our nephew a camera for his 4th birthday because my in laws said he was interested in photography. I excitedly researched cameras meant for kids that did not have a built in printer. When my brother in law said he would probably infrequently print out pics for his son, my wife did a ton of research and picked this one. We were not disappointed! Here are the highlights:
1. The camera looks great and feels good in the hands of adults and kids. My nephew and my 3 year old son held it comfortably.
2. Neither kid understood that you can’t cover the lens and we kept thinking they were doing so. But it seems to be positioned in a way that avoids that.
3. Both kids figured out how to use the camera quickly. My nephew was shooting really nicely composed pics right away. My son took a bit longer but he didn’t get frustrated.
4. The size and quality of the print outs are great for what it is. They are black and white and look kind of like pencil sketches. Very cute.

I don’t send this as a gift for my niece on her ninth birthday. So far she only used it’s a couple of times this is purely based off their feedback. I had to do a couple of subjects to see what 9-year-old girls will look for their birthdays as a gift. This one showed up as an Amazon recommendation. I think overall it’s a decent pie. Once it stops, you can tear the paper off on the serated edge(not dangerous)…and you immediately have your black and white photo in your hands!! The pictures you take in the camera are in color but print B & W. They are pretty clear and good quality images as far a camera like this would print. Remember it’s not a $2000 camera! Lol

This kids’ toy camera is a great size, and the blue color is super cute. While it’s more of a toy than a real camera, it’s reasonably priced and offers some fun features. It can print photos on demand or store them for later, and it also includes filters and games, which my 7-year-old son loves. The photo print quality is poor—you can just make out what the photos are of—but it’s still enjoyable for a child. However, the photo printer paper is tricky to tear off, and my son often ends up ripping the photos. Despite this, he’s had a lot of fun with it!

I love this camera and so does my 5 year old! It’s perfect for a kid, because the technology of the thermal printing makes it extremely cheap to “maintain.” My kid loves to take pictures of everything and print multiple copies and we don’t seem to run out of paper. It’s the perfect intro camera to give them the joy of the instant prints, but not have the expensive of a full on Polaroid while they still master their photo taking skills. The camera also has the ability to take videos, add filters to photos and there are games on it as well. It is bulky enough to not get lost, but also light weight and easy to toss in a backpack. Perfect for travel or the back seat. I highly recommend this as a cheap gift that they will actually love to play with. It’s a great way to spark creativity for the kids that don’t like to color, draw or paint

I bought this forth my niece for Christmas and it was a total hit. By chance she opened this first and there was no interest in other gifts after. She took a little while to figure out how to print the pictures and tare the printouts from the camera, but the soon took to it. The controls on the back allow for lots of creative freedom for the little user but learning to use this might take a little bit.
The SD card in the camera is great because it is possible to save pictures to the computer taken from her perspective. These will be fun to share with her in the future. Just to note it is possible for the user to mistakenly reformat the SD card so it might be wise to backup the SD card more often than not.
My niece is almost five for reference on age of the child this was gifted to. From the picture you can see she has decorated her camera extensively. I like that there is space to be creative not just with the pictures but the camera itself.
There are hundreds of fun pictures printed out all over my sister’s house. Including a number of very flattering early morning shots. We all look our best when photographed from a five years olds perspective minutes after waking up.
The low cost of printing gives my niece the chance to all the hard copies she wants at a negligible cost because of the thermal printing paper. I have the printer paper refills on subscribe and save, I drop them off as a gift each month to my niece and she is very happy.
Before wrapping: If you are confident this is a gift your little one will like consider opening and charging the camera (USB C) before returning to the box and wrapping. There was a little kid meltdown when the camera ran out of juice just before lunch. The combination of hungry and camera out of battery was not ideal, though it was quick to charge and post lunch the pictures were printing again.

I’ve had it a couple weeks now and I pull it out any opportunity I get and I’m still on the first full charge. The charging port is a USB-C and it will still take photos while charging. I tried it while hooked up to a battery pack. It comes with a 32gb micro SD card (which is more than enough space for the resolution of the photos) and three rolls of paper. If you print too many photos at once, it will overheat and pop up an error message, but I’ve only run into this issue once when I took a group photo then tried to print 8 copies of the photo back to back. Just snapping photos leisurely, I’ve not run into the issue.
Personally, I don’t think the print quality is terrible, but I also firmly understand it’s printing pictures on receipt paper so my bar is very low. They are grainy, black and white photos, but I personally find them very charming. I know the photos will eventually fade just due to the nature of thermal print paper, but I’ve been scanning the ones I really love. 🙂

I have a instax mini and the price of each photo weighs heavily on my mind with every photo I take. With this camera, who cares if it turns out? Each roll of paper costs about a dollar and prints probably 100 photos. (bonus pointer, the prints fit very nicely into those plastic 35 stick gum purse packs. I had so many of them loose in my bag I had to find something to store them in an that worked perfect!)

Picked this up last Christmas for a 7 year old. This was so easy for her to use and she loved having her own camera. The print speed is pretty quick and the quality is great. Just like any digital camera it has to be he’d still when taking a picture to get a good quality image. It was easier for the 7 year old than the 3 year old to do. It has a pretty good size memory inside of the camera and we didn’t need to delete any old pictures until about a week after daily use. All of the accessories worked great. Definitely attack the strap so it doesn’t get dropped and broken but it is a pretty sturdy camera and can take some abuse. Pictures are not in color but for the price that is fine with me. She still loved the camera and uses it regularly almost a year later.

This camera is really great. My wife and I decided to buy our nephew a camera for his 4th birthday because my in laws said he was interested in photography. I excitedly researched cameras meant for kids that did not have a built in printer. When my brother in law said he would probably infrequently print out pics for his son, my wife did a ton of research and picked this one. We were not disappointed! Here are the highlights:
1. The camera looks great and feels good in the hands of adults and kids. My nephew and my 3 year old son held it comfortably.
2. Neither kid understood that you can’t cover the lens and we kept thinking they were doing so. But it seems to be positioned in a way that avoids that.
3. Both kids figured out how to use the camera quickly. My nephew was shooting really nicely composed pics right away. My son took a bit longer but he didn’t get frustrated.
4. The size and quality of the print outs are great for what it is. They are black and white and look kind of like pencil sketches. Very cute.
5. The price of printer paper is relatively cheap.
6. The paper is BPA free.

I don’t send this as a gift for my niece on her ninth birthday. So far she only used it’s a couple of times this is purely based off their feedback. I had to do a couple of subjects to see what 9-year-old girls will look for their birthdays as a gift. This one showed up as an Amazon recommendation. I think overall it’s a decent pie. She’s pretty happy she takes picture. I think the one thing she complained was. Pictures were decent, not exceptional, but overall, it’s a good gift
