These fire packets worked really well compared to other color packets I’ve purchased. I felt like they were worth the expense because they burned for a 45-90 minutes in length each. The color fades as the fire burns, but it keeps showing until the log it’s on becomes ash. We made the mistake of thinking a bigger fire would make the colors pop bigger. That was not the case. A smaller, steadier fire made the colors vibrant and more visible longer. The packaging the product came in was flimsy, but not a big deal because the actual packets were sturdy and easy to collect. None opened in transit, which was more important to me.

I brought these on a recent family camping trip and they ended up being one of the highlights of the night.
