Thought this was a great concept; auto open and cork release with one tap. After 4 openings, the cork stopped midway and I’m returning with cork still in opener!
Poor quality and it was nearly $60!!

This works very well and hold a charge well. After one use, it is still nearly fully charged so I don’t know how far I can go without charging but may give it a shot soon. I have arthritis in both hands and this is a large relief as I don’t want to give up wine. The cork removal works perfectly but the motor must be shut off manually, which is strange as the device automatically knows when to begin working.

Paid a premium price for a luxury product, including look and feel. But the build quality is not great. You can pay a cheaper price for a better product, when compared to other competitors. Disappointed with the brand.

Worked great for the first 3 bottles of wine. With the 4th bottle of wine, the cork jammed inside the unit. I can’t get it out! @#$!

It barely works for uncorking wine bottles, but ejecting the cork is an absolute disaster! Every time after uncorking, the cork gets stuck tight on the drill bit and you have to yank it out with a pair of pliers.

It is truly automatic. Touch the opener to the top of the wine bottle and out comes the cork. Turn the opener horizontal and the cork falls from the opener. It takes minimal space on the kitchen counter top. It looks really good. It feels very well made.

Works great – fast and easy. I have had a few of the Sharper Image openers in the past. They were good but nowhere near as good as this one, but they only lasted for about two years or less and then I would have to buy a new one. I found that acceptable as our household opens 1 bottle per day on average. But this one is a marvel! Not sure how long it will last but I loveit.

This bottle opener worked (mostly) well. It had plenty of power to remove all the corks I attempted, which actually led me to the one situations that it struggled with. I had a rather old bottle of wine that it managed to actually split the cork in half, leaving part of it in the bottle. Then for the remaining piece in the opener, it was unable to eject it from the opener on it’s own. I was able to fairly easily resolve this though, by sticking a small stick into the opening to hold the cork from spinning in place, so that it could be ejected by the motor. So overall this is a nice addition, just be careful about broken corks. I also wish the process to trigger the cork ejection was a bit more intuitive for guests trying to use it for the first time. If I had one design recommendation, I wish the unit was a bit smaller and less prominent on my counter
