This is a thinner material. If you have ever bough this in a shirt it is the same just in a dress.
I love it.
The contrast is beautiful. The colors are really pretty (I got the green) the size is fitted. I am pricing 1 size up and keeping both.
I think casual the fitted is nice for plus but 1 size up for a night out is appropriate.
I love that it covers by tummy! Other dresses with waistlines and frills make me look pregnant. This does not.
Highly recommend. Great value for the money. I also got just one in black when I ordered the size up for my event.

(I’m sharing my measurements because reviews that helped me decide what size to order were the ones that gave their measurements.) I waffled between ordering a medium and a large and went with the large. It’s perfect! The fabric is stretchy, but I didn’t want a tight fit showing my bulges. This dress fits loose enough, and the cut of it makes me look slimmer. It did arrive with a light perfumy smell, but I’ll be washing it before I wear it. It arrived in shrink-wrapped plastic, in perfect condition, but of course with wrinkles to be expected. Paired with some silver sandals, jewelry, and clutch, this granny will be looking stylish at grandchild’s wedding!

This is a really nice dress. I recommend you buy your usual size. It fit well and was very comfortable with a flattering silhouette. It came just to the bottom of my knee which is exactly what I wanted. (I am 5’1″) For anyone who might want to hide their arms a little, the attached cape is perfect and airy . The only problem for me ( I ordered the green with the cape that is reminiscint of peacock feathers) I expected it to have more of a peacock blue tint to it but it does not. It is definitely Green, very Dark green with black streaks in the cape. It was too dark for me. If it had been a lighter tone with more of a blue tint I would have kept it, but unfortunately it did not suit me.

Fit when on, but difficult to put on over your head with the cape, plus no give with the material of the dress. Loves the style of it but unfortunately it has a weird bump that stuck out the side as I’d it wasn’t sewn right. I was going to replace it for another but I don’t know if that is going to be the same way. Hard to tell from the pictures, but tried showing the bump sticking out on the side. No, that’s not my skin underneath. I don’t have a bump there it’s just fabric..and the other side too. Other than that, the dress itself is rough, not stretchy at all, not see through either, but the caps obviously is. The cape was surprisingly soft too
