I purchased this snowblower so I could use it on our large driveway myself. I could handle the size, easy to use electric start, and couldn’t believe how far it threw the snow! It did a great job on the blacktopped driveway in short order. My only issue was the chute and getting it adjusted correctly, an easy fix. In short, I really like the machine and it does a great job!

I did quite a bit of research on snow blowers prior to purchasing the AMERISON. They are american made and provide a number of outdoor products under multiple brands. The snow blower arrived before the estimated delivery date, which I appreciated since I live in west Michigan and we were getting dumped on. All the stores either sold out, of snow blowers, or were unable to blower, fast enough to meet demand.
From that point I selected AMERISUN because of availability and price. The unit arrived and assembly was rather quick. The only thing I didn’t like was the batteries for the LED lights. The battery contact assembly kept falling out of the fixture. I resolved that issue and tested the unit.
So far, this blower is a beast. It really through the snow. So much that you shouldn’t have anyone in the path of the thrown snow. It throws extremely well. No issues starting by recoil or electronic start. Unfortunately, we haven’t had snow after that.
I am very happy so far and look forward to tackling more snow.

This went together easy, it was for the wife, and she loves her Christmas present. Purchased because every time I have surgery we always get a big snow storm.
Starts up every time, no need to use the plug to start but it’s a plus, in case. Easy to maneuver, throws snow a good distance.

I’m a retired autotech you name it I’ve worked on it from 26 ton tank retriever and everything in between I have two killer snowblowers old Craftsman Sears they don’t build them like that anymore this China whatever you want to call it it didn’t move The impeller didn’t move nothing moved The engine ran I spent about 4 hours taking covers off adjusting belts cables strip bolts loose bolts trust me people you get what you pay for and if you’re in a heavy snow area by a good brand name Toro Sears Craftsman that way like me I’ve had mine for over 20 years this snowblower didn’t make it 20 minutes before I drag it back in the house so like I said invest the money and a good blower and it’ll probably be the last one you own

Price was exceptional. All in I think I got it for under 500, and at that price if it last this and next season I think I got my money’s worth. As it happens we got more than oneassice storm in the northeast and this thing did the trick.
I only mind the screws holding the handle need locktite, as the nylon locknut managed to vibrate right off. Hands def get cold so get a good pair of gloves.
Ohhhhh one huge thing. I think it says it has a Briggs and Stratton motor in it, it most certainly does not. An Amerisun motor comes stock. That lost another star.
It throws snow a good 15-20 feet, maybe further.
Otherwise, I would likely buy again and recommend to anyone who doesn’t insist on brand names.

This snow blower is good for nothing. after it was ensabled, the blades were not spining when I was pressing the handle down. Not a good product. Please don’t buy because it can’t be returned.

I ordered and received the Amerisun snow blower just in time for last weekend storm. We received about 20 inches of snow and this machine came through for me with flying color! The assembly instructions could be a little clearer and the light is not working, but I am not concerned about it, I will hopefully get it to work soon. I paced myself and used the machine 3 times, the second of which I had to tackle more than a foot of snow. Granted the snow was very light and fluffy, but it worked like a charm. I am hoping that it will continue to work as well on future and heavier snow piles.

As of right now, I am only giving 3 stars due to the condition that i received the snow thrower. I do believe it was partially due to the shipping company. Everything was inside the package that was supposed to be, but my snow blower was all scratched, bent and dented up. There was also oil spilled all over the inside of the box. This oil must have been inside the machine because it was not leaking from the bottle of oil that came with it. The oil that came with it was vacuumed sealed up neatly and the bottle was unopened. I understand it’s very heavy but a bit of care when delivering would be great- and if the shipping company cannot handle a box of this size and weight, the company should ship with another vendor. There were also some tearing on the box.
The machine was pretty simple to get together, using 2 small wrenches (not included). The LED lights required a small screw driver to get batteries inside (batteries were included, screw driver was not). There were no tools included, which isn’t a very big deal. Directions were straightforward. All together it took me about 30 minutes to get it all set up & put together, after cleaning up all the oil off everything.
This snow thrower came with oil to put in the machine. You will need to use the entire amount in bottle or very close to it.
Snow thrower came with 2 keys so you have a spare which is nice. The keys are small, and just a red plastic kind of key shape – they dont really resemble keys so make sure you don’t accidentally get rid of them.
All together it seems pretty well made and easy to operate. After getting gas and putting the oil in, I primed it 3x and it started right up for me. The pull start was easy to turn over. My wife was also able to get it to start quickly without issues. I did not try the plug in/electric start, and more than likely never will use it, but that is a nice feature to have. After just moving it outside and back into my garage it seems easy to maneuver. Its not overly heavy but also not flimsy at all. Seems sturdy.
As I said prior- I have not actually used this yet in the snow, but I will update this review once I do. I will say that I got the extended 2 year warranty which goes on top of the standard 2 year manufacturer warranty. After opening the package and seeing all the bent metal, scratches & all the oil spilled- I wrote into Amazon and they refunded me $157.43 without hesitation, after viewing the photos I sent in to them (those photos are included with this review). I know the machine will get bent and scraped up after using it, but its just annoying to spend $525 on an item and have it arrive looking used.
Price point cannot be beat- especially if it works great. I got this when it was on sale for $487 and then purchased an additional warranty for $52. Amerisun is an American company and this snow blower was manufactured in the United States which is also a plus.
I have included a photo of the snow thrower all put together plus photos of the damages and oil spill.
I do not regret this purchase by anymeans- just irritated at the condition upon arrival- (which it the reason for giving 3 stars) but regardless it did not impact the performance (at least it doesn’t seem to have). I would recommend anyone who lives in a snowy area to purchase this item! I am located in Upstate NY and will definitely get my money worth out of it. This review is completely honest and I did not receive anything for writing it. I just wanted to write it for anyone looking to purchase this item. I know myself, I always read reviews before making a purchase.
EDITED TO ADD- this works amazingly! I also uploaded a video clip of it working. We had a noreastern come threw NY and this snow thrower is a beast!!! Adding another star!!

Used this one time. In a 12 inch snow
Storm. Well the levers basically broke at 1st no problem. Short duration in. Impossible to use. Will never buy this brand again. Good luck everyone else.
