Seriously impressed. Details galore. Would be cool hanging from car mirror too, not just necklace. Everything in the listing photos and listing description are accurate. This dude – or dudette – is so cool. I think the name of this figurine is DreadOmar. The necklace is a hemp type cord which has the feature of pulling to lengthen or taking in to shorten it. It’s adjustable to the full length (which is approx 15″ from back of neck to figurine) or you can pull the ends of the hemp to make the ends of the necklace go all the way back around to the figurine which would make the length from back of neck to figurine approx 7.25″ (like smaller than a choker or perfect if you wanted to adjust it to put it around your vehicle rearview mirror and then shorten up the rope so it wouldn’t swing so much. The hemp style necklace is dark brown.
The little guy has tubular and round beads that look like dreads. His block head is a wooden cube with gear shaped eyes with Phillips head screws as the pupils – so creative. His “ears” are small, greek key detailed, brass/copper colored, circles with Phillips head screws holding them on. Thumbs up to the designers!! A twist screw hook holds the body which is able to move freely as he jams away at the tunes (no music comes out). A smaller wood block is the body and on the body block a silver guitar stamped charm has been adhered to it. It doesn’t feel loose or like it would detach unless someone really wanted to pull hard to take it off. But don’t take his guitar away, he’d be so sad. The “arms” look like little money bags or boxing gloves and are cool. They dangle too. The legs and feet also dangle and, get this, they are microphones! So freaking cool! I love this little necklace but it totally doesn’t have to just go around your neck. It could be neat hung on a bulletin board or framed even (with the necklace part taken off) or I would hang him just about anywhere to be able to glance up and have a minute of cool during the day whether thats at the office or at home.
I’m super stoked that he’s so affordable too. With the amount of detail he has and the uniqueness of this piece I would expect him to be priced higher. With the way he looks I almost expected him to be signed on the back by the artist – he looks that hand-crafted. Great gift for that musician in your life or cool person!

Do you love steampunk aesthetics? I mean, you don’t even have to, and you’ll still appreciate this little guy.
He arrived neatly packed into a nice NonBrat box, so it would be nice for gifting. It is exactly as pictured! I noticed that there was some weight to it, so some parts are certainly metal.
The cogs on the eyes even spin! You can dangle him and set him down to sit because his legs are dangly. I’d say this is a very high-quality item.
It comes with a soft cord “necklace,” but you can really dangle him anywhere.

this is my son. i would pay more than 20 dollars for him, he’s so cute and i love the way he jingles around when i wear him. i hope they make more of these little guys they’re so stinking cute. he reminds me soooo much of the robots movie from the early 2000s and it makes me so happy. i can just see the end scene where they’re all playing music together. aside from my adoring love for him, i think he’s well made. the parts hold together well and i see no seems that look like they could come apart. if you like steam punk or this aesthetic i genuinely think these are a wellmade addition. they are kind of large though (as you can see in my hand) so keep that in mind because they have quite a bit of weight to them for a necklace! i am a little worried about the strap breaking because it’s like that faux leather strap stuff rather than a chain. i haven’t seen any signs of snapping yet but it might be good to keep an eye on it. i hope they make some with different colors or different music motifs like pop or jazz!

Delightful little dude. Feels really brilliant in the hands, and fun to fiddle with. His little wooden head and bod feel warm to the touch, and his beaded ‘do can’t stop, won’t stop.
Everything is put together to move, right down to the eyes not being screwed in tight so that they can be spun. Doesn’t feel FRAGILE, but obviously I’m going to handle him with some care.
