First off, the stitching and detailing on the outer jacket is amazing. Just stunning. However, the sizing is absolutely crazy. I am 5’3″ and curvy, the dress at a large fits perfectly. The bodice is fitted, the waist flattering then flaring out. Fits absolutely perfectly. The embroidered over-jacket? Holy crap no. Won’t fit over my shoulders, won’t fit on my arms, if I was any taller the sleeves would be too short. I estimate I would need to go up 2-3 sizes for it to fit like the product pictures. The problem is, it is a set- if I went up in size 2-3 sizes so the outer jacket fit, the inner dress would fit like a large loose polyester bag. I am not sure there is a sweet spot I could get where the outer jacket fit and the inner dress both fit. It’s too bad because I love the detailing. Also, Amazon/the seller only allow returns on this, not exchanges. I always wait until a return finishes before ordering a new item- I’ve had some awful luck reordering before a return is complete. And that is a pain! Making the return/ re-order even more of a hassle is that it took almost a month for this dress set to arrive after ordering. I am glad I wasn’t planning on wearing it to my work function 2 weeks ago. I’m giving this 2 stars simply because the embroidery is so lovely. Otherwise, the sizing issue along with the time to receive plus lack of exchange options, etc, this would be 1 star
