DO NOT BUY THIS!!! I bought it and it does NOT work! Its a plastic child’s egg toy. The parts fall off. I tried to return it and it charges me 7.99 shipping for a 2gram item and the hassle of returning through UPS. TOTAL RIP OFF!! They should not even be allowed to sell on Amazon. Maybe I just need to get off Amazon if they allow sellers like this to steal from customer.

This egg shell opener is poorly made. There is only a thin layer of plastic that serves as the hinge when egg opener is open. I received mine yesterday and in the process of placing the two small medal pieces that serve to crack the egg shell and separating them, the small plastic hinge tore. I did not even get to use it once. It would’ve made too much sense to incorporate a hinge within the egg shell opener and then secure them with a small gage metal strip. It would last much longer. As it is now, the wear and tear on the thin plastic would cause it to break.

I watched the product video to make sure l assembled it correctly. I was disappointed because you have to assemble the egg sheller without instructions, and it does not work on jumbo, or large size eggs.
I tried it with a raw egg, and several eggshell fragments fell into the pan with the raw egg. I then tried it with a hard boiled egg, and all it did was make a big pit into the hard boiled egg itself.
I plan to buy small eggs and try it again just to see if that will work as shown in the video. Otherwise I would advise you to keep your money. It’s a waste of your money and your time.

It is made of super cheap material and flimsy metal parts that fall off. The film showing it peeling an egg had to be modified with a freshly peeled perfect egg put inside – Don’t waste your money in this.

The media could not be loaded.
The video makes it look incredibly easy. It’s not quite that simple. It arrives in pieces with the plastic in the middle separate so you have to put it together. So hopefully I put mine together correctly, but I will use this product often I assume and it is handy, especially for soft boiled eggs, but it’s not quite as simple as they made it look without some practice I suspect.
Only giving it four stars because it is something you have to figure out and it’s not as easy as the video demonstrates. But I will use this tool and hopefully get really good at it because it’s much easier than just opening up soft boiled egg without it.

This egg shell opener is poorly made. There is only a thin layer of plastic that serves as the hinge when egg opener is open.
I received mine yesterday and in the process of placing the two small medal pieces that serve to crack the egg shell and separating them, the small plastic hinge tore. I did not even get to use it once.
