I genuinely didn’t think a tortilla-shaped blanket would spark this much joy in my life, but here we are. Loving tortillas has basically been part of my personality since I was little. Owning a tortilla-themed blanket? Absolutely not on my bingo card. To be fair, I actually bought it for my pet duck first (yes, really). She rejected it. I didn’t blame her. Straight out of the package it looked… sad. Flat. Like an actual uncooked tortilla. The design looked squished and underwhelming, and I was already preparing my “well, that was a mistake” speech. Then I washed it. One wash. Total glow-up. It fluffed up beautifully. Suddenly it was soft, cozy, and actually looked like the cute tortilla blanket I thought I was ordering. Now it’s the perfect size to wrap around my arms, which is crucial because I’m very particular about my sleep setup.
Did it cure me of rolling my eyes at food-themed novelty items? Honestly, yeah. At least a little. Turns out some of them are actually good quality. This one surprised me in the best way.
Tortilla blankets? Officially part of my personality now.
