I gave this set to my husband as an early Christmas gift, and he really enjoyed it. Compatible with name brands, no missing pieces, clear instructions, overall a high quality off brand set. Husband finished the set in one evening while watching the obvious movie lol.

I am a fan of the Vacation movies and thought the Wagon Queen Family Truckster was hysterical. I ordered the JAEUZKJYDA National Christmas Village Movie Building Set to add to my collection.
The set comes in a giftable box with the image of the car on the front. Inside is the manual and numbered bags with the bricks. The bricks are all Lego compatible and went together just as smoothly the whole way through the build. The manual is easy to follow and each of the numbered bags have a smaller number of bricks so each section is easy to assemble. The coolest part is that there are two options on how to finish the build. You can have the giant tree draped over the car or you can have a pile of gifts on top, whichever you like better. I chose the giant tree. The biggest issue I had was that the colors in the manual are off and it was difficult at some points to know what to grab. Not a big deal and, if half stars were allowed, I would give it 4.5 stars. I don’t want to drop to a 4 though.
The end model is fantastic representation of the car from the film. It is going to be a great display on my shelf. There is no age range stated but, based on the smaller brick count for each step, I don’t think it would be difficult for younger builders at all. I think that this set is definitely worth the $37 asking price, especially for a fan of the movies.

Found it difficult to get base of car to hold to body. Pieces kept popping off. Finally used scotch tape on bottom. Might have been lighting but the coloring on instructions made them difficult to see…for me anyway. Decent for the price point.

If Christmas Vacation is one of your favorite holiday movies, this is the building set for you. Featuring the Family Truckster and the oversized tree from the movie, this set gives you a number of ways to display the build. The instructions were clear, there were no missing pieces, and the build looks great on the shelf next to other film-related builds. Highly recommended.

This generic set has standard bricks & a clear instruction book. The car was easy assembly, but tree looks a bit daunting, with 300+ tiny green bits. The wheels move but don’t roll. The side & back doors don’t open & don’t have handles because they don’t exist! The interior is just shy of fitting minifigs, & the roof of the car has weak support pieces, so don’t play with that! Minifigs will not fit inside the car. The roof is too low. But they got the lime green color correct! A bit high on price for no doors. $19.99 would have been less disappointing.

Looks great and a must for a Christmas Vacation fan! The visual instructions are fine but a little hard to distinguish between bricks at times. But the model when together well and was a fun build. I am pleased with the finished product and will display it with my Christmas Vacation brick house, albeit they are a slightly different scale. I do wish they made a light kit for this though.

Went together really well. Only had one slight issue with the tree staying on top. Had to modify the roof of the car to have more than the 4 connection points they designed.

Calling all National Lampoons Christmas Vacation lovers!!! My husband built it as soon as he got it. You can customize the tree to have decorations or no decorations. Fun little build. It came with all its pieces, the box was a little smooshed but that’s amazons fault.

This was a gift for my dad that has alzheimers and dementia. The smile on his face was worth every penny spent. We grew up watching all of the vacation movies and especially Christmas vacation. The fact he still remembered it enough to get a spark in his eye again gives me hope. The instructions are crystal clear and look just like name brands

This was a decent build but the box came crushed and open (bummer) and it was missing a few pieces for the tree but since you can choose to build the tree OR the gifts, I was able to swap some parts around to make it work. It’s a good addition to the Christmas Vacation Lego house and RV sets. If you’re a Christmas Vacation fan, I definitely recommend!

I had so much fun building this over Christmas. It’s easy to assemble. The instructions were very clear. The pieces are high-quality and fit together easily. It’s very durable and well worth the price.
