Great little generator, works well in power outages. I used it twice since I bought it in July.

I have a couple of these; one is smaller. This one ran my refrigerator for ten hours as a test and then I charged up with solar panels which worked well too. Tried the smaller one only by making a pot of electric coffee. Barely moved the needle on the charge remaining. If I ever need them, I’ll wish I had more, and more solar panels as well.

I absolutely love this! I use it every day. I only have to plug it in to recharge it every five days or so. It allows me to charge my phones and other devices without tapping into the house, electricity during the heat of the day when the electricity is the most expensive. I have a rechargeable fan and even a travelissimo food warmer that I can plug into it if I’m heating a can of soup or something simple for lunch.
When I do recharge it, it only takes an hour or so. I do have solar panels for Emergency purposes and camping.
I have a smaller Jackery as well. It was not strong enough to use my hot pot when I went camping this summer. I did not want to have to light a fire just to heat water. This Jackery does work with my hot pot, so next time I go camping it will be handy for several different things.

Bought to build charge with 400w of solar. Haven’t yet installed panels on roof(winter hit) so I recharge batteries when elec prices are lowest(3am) via timer, and run furnace power through it all day. That is to say, about 10 hrs/ full charge @ 600wh output. Then I have to bite the bullet and get one charge at higher rates. Seems that grabbing a fast slam charge doesn’t hike my bill like I thought it would.

This was a great deal on sale so I bought it. Almost too good to be true when compared with similar capacity units. I noted one review saying the actual capacity was not as advertised (2kwh), so this was to be my first test.
I used my “Kill-A-Watt”, which measures power draw. As you can see from the picture, it’s as advertised. I plugged the killawatt into the unit, then a space heater (because they draw a lot of power) into the killawatt. .89kwh drawn and 53% of the battery left on the Jackery. It’s not perfectly 2kwh, but close enough for me. There’s always loss involved with any power devices and I consider this to be within an acceptable range. Conclusion – the device provides the advertised capacity and it’s a great deal on sale.

Fast Charging! I charged it before I left on my trip in just a couple of hours and didn’t need a charge for 5 days. Easy to charge, just plug in the bright orange cord! I had well over 2000 watt hours of power – works better than a unit I paid double the price for. Kept my cooler running for 5 days! I haven’t tried the solar panel yet as I had a place to plug in to recharge. I have a feeling they will by like other Jackery solar panels and work absolutely fine! not as fast as the wall outlet. I am very happy with the Jackery 2000 – very quiet too.

My experience with several of the Jackery Explorer units over the past several years was a big part of the reason that I chose the E2000 V2. The Jackery Explorer 1000 will run most of the kitchen appliances and the Explorer 2000 V2 will run all of them including Space heaters and hair dryers. The fast charging of the E2000 V2 was another of my reasons for my purchase of a larger Jackery. Fortunately most of our power outages are only a few hours long and the Christmas outages were brief but they came at a very inconvenient time for us.
On Christmas day I had a full house of family, then came the storm that took out the power. Christmas day and the next day Jackery Explorers provided the power we needed to have a great Christmas. The presents included a Explorer 1000 with solar panel and a Explorer 290 with solar panel to one of our daughters. This year the rest of our extended family enjoys the benefits of having a Jackery Explorer unit.
This year we have had several strong winter storms that have caused power outages and even rolling blackouts. The Explorer 300 was used to charge cell phones and table lamps while the Explorer 1000 was used to power my deep freezer. I connected another Explorer 1000 to my refrigerator. The Explorer 2000 V2 was pressed into service for the microwave, toaster oven and a dual eye hot plate. A 4 year old Explorer 500 also helped with lights and USB devices.
After the utility power returned, the Jackery Explorer units were recharged with the Explorer 2000 V2 being the first one finished. Utility power was used because it was heavy overcast with cold strong winds. Just not a very good day for solar and we did not know when the next blackout would happen. We also had rolling blackouts in my area during the Christmas storm two years ago and the Jackery equipment was really useful. I am expecting more of the power outages due to the increased power demand on some of the very cold days this winter and some of the hottest days next summer. If we have more rolling blackouts the quick charging of the E2000 V2 will really be useful.
One of the reasons that I chose the Jackery Explorer line is that they are reliable self contained units and do not require other equipment to operate. Some of the competition requires smart phones with special applications to use all of the features. If you have a wide area power outage it is better to have each piece of your emergency equipment able to stand alone.
If you live in a area where power interruptions happen, then you will find that a Jackery Explorer 2000 V2 will just make things a lot better for your family.

I’m really loving this! It was so useful on recent camping trip. I was able to run my 26 quart fridge with only using about 10% daily. The only thing I would caution is that I charged both my fridge and jackery while driving, and ended up with a dead battery. I don’t think I’ll try charging it off car anymore. That said, it charges super fast when connected to AC outlet. It weighs 39 lbs, and while heavy for me, I can lug it around ok. (I’m 68yr F)

Very good all-in-one battery storage and supply system. What is NOT (and should be) mentioned is the DC inputs, while there are two DC8020 input plugs, both must be from the same type of source for it to function. For example, one cannot connect solar PV to one input and automotive (cigarette) input to the other. Jackery should have a switch here to allow different sources to be connected. Unplugging and plugging connectors will accelerate the wear of these.

The Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 Portable Power Station is an impressive and reliable power source that has consistently proven its value. It holds a charge for a long time, making it ideal for extended trips, and it offers excellent flexibility with multiple charging options — whether plugged into a wall outlet, a car, or paired with solar panels. I’ve found it especially useful for camping, where it easily powers several devices at once without any strain. including phones, cpap, and my fan. Of note, however it is quite heavy and large. While the price is certainly on the higher side, the durability, versatility, sleek design, and long-lasting performance make it feel like a worthwhile investment and a strong overall value for anyone who needs dependable portable power.

Using this as UPS battery backup for sump. Note, to prevent it from turning off automatically every 12 hours, you need to have a continuous load for it to work as UPS, I have my modem plugged in, but it only draws ~23W output… so I have also disabled energy saving mode to prevent auto shutdown regardless of load. So far so good. Have had 2 power outages, had not affected sump as its winter but it keeps the internet up and running smooth 🙂

Works very well and charges all my devices with no problem. I bought this for emergencies and peace of mind, and I love that it’s portable with a sturdy handle. The front panel gives you easy access to all the ports — multiple AC outlets, USB‑A ports, USB‑C ports, and the DC input — so everything is right where you need it. If you live in an area where it snows, this is something you’ll be glad to have. You really can’t go wrong with a brand like Jackery; you’re getting quality and reliability. If the power goes out, at least you’ll still have electricity. Don’t forget to pick up a solar panel to keep it powered — you’ll be glad you did.

I tested this during a FL power outage and it worked very well to charge phones, power a fan and a laptop. It’s powerful enough to power a refrigerator for a whole day.
The unit is heavy but easy to move with the handle. It’s has a fan for cooling the batteries while changing, but it’s not loud.
You can power all sorts of devices with it and ot can be used as an UPS too. The LCD panel shows useful information about charge, inputs and outputs.
I don’t know if it will remain reliable long term, but so far it looks like a quality product. Considering getting a second one.

The Jackery Solar Generator itself is a great item, the updated Bluetooth worked as it should. The projected time running our refrigerator is a little more than expected. I would have given the purchase a five if if not for being led to believe the Solar Panels came the purchase. Also, at first the item was 40% off, I bought it when it was 37% and now I see the Jackery is now 43% off…

Let’s start by saying what this is, and what it isn’t. Its a high capacity, solar generator (read battery). It’s not what I would consider a generator that runs on fuel.
That said, I use this a lot. It’s a great companion at tailgates to run things like speakers and crockpots. It’s super portable and 100% quite – 0db when operating. It will run my 250 watt sound system and a couple of crockpots for 4 – 6 hours on a charge.
When the power went out, it kept my refrigerator running for 9 hours and still had charge left when the power came back on.
I also have a gasoline powered 10K watt generator I use for basic essentials in my house when the power goes out. The two are not the same, and shouldn’t be compared. They each have a purpose and work well together.
I’m very happy with my Jackery for the purposes I bought it for. I have subsequently purchased one for my parents and in-laws too.

Jackery Explorer 2000 V2 Review: I’m referring to the equipment as portable power station / PPS / battery.
PERFORMANCE: It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition, with 30% charge. Charging was very simple. There is a quiet charging mode, which takes 3x duration to full charge, but is also quieter. I thought full charge speed was a nice, quiet, pleasant white / no need for the quiet charge option. Quiet charging is unneeded for us, but a neat feature.
I didn’t realize when shopping that there was a light on the power station (dim, bright, SOS pattern options), so that’s good. I created a Jackery account and paired the device with the app, which was all simple. I guess the best part of the app is being able to remotely see the % battery left. For what it’s worth though, you can remotely turn on each segment of the power station (DC / USBs, AC / normal wall outlets, and the light) too.
We unplugged the fridge from the wall and plugged it into the PPS. Treated the fridge as we normally do, opening when we needed to take something out / put something in, dispensing water. It lasted for 21.3 hours.
The battery also has pass-through charging, meaning you can plug the PPS into the wall while power is on, and the fridge (or other equipment) will charge from the battery. If we’re away from the house while the power comes back on, the fridge will switch to being powered from the wall (via the PPS) while the battery starts to recharge in preparation for the next power loss event. The charging speed during pass-through charging is roughly the same as charging while not powering anything (~1500W). We also tested pass-through charging by turning the breaker off (simulating power loss) while the fridge was plugged into the PPS and the PPS plugged into the wall. The transition from pass-through to battery was seamless. The fridge lights never even flickered through wall-power loss and through changing back to pass-through charging.
Given this capability, I could see using it as a battery backup for our sump pump, with the sump pump always plugged into the PPS, which would always be plugged into the wall. _________(I haven’t dont research to verify if there will be any effect on life of product if used that way.)__________ The alternative is the PPS sitting in on a shelf in the basement, waiting to either be manually deployed as a fridge backup, or in the rare case of outdoor camping use.
WEIGHT: When I first picked it up, I was happy we went with Jackery, being the least heavy among competitors (EcoFlow, Anker, Bluetti). At 40 lbs, it’s heavy for sure, but much more manageable for taking up/down the stairs than competitors’ 50-60 lb devices of equal capacity. I was also able to hoist it onto the counter when needed.
PRICE: Black Friday, 2024: We purchased from Amazon on Black Friday for $800 ($900, plus a $100 “coupon” that you just need to click the checkbox for). At the time, Jackery was selling for $900 (no coupon). I found the Jackery Explorer 2000 V2 to be comparable, but ~$100-200 lower cost than competitors mentioned above.
Dec6, 2024: Amazon is back to selling for the regular listed price of $1500, with no sale. Jackery is back to the regular listed price of $1500, but with a $600 “coupon” automatically applied at checkout. This sale is the “Christmas Sale!” December 3-8. So Jackery’s Black Friday sale wasn’t exclusive to Black Friday.
Dec12, 2024: Amazon: sale for $900 Jackery: sale for $1100 (listed at $1500, with $400 coupon)
LONGEVITY: I have only had this product for about a week, so I can not speak to the longevity of the product.

Just went through an 18 hour power outage and it worked great. Had two lamps plugged into it and used our Kuerig and our electric teakettle (Each use took about 4% of the battery). Recharged our phone and a flashlight. We were down to 64% battery when the power came back on. I was about to plug in our refrigerator for a 45 minute session when the power returned. Based on what I read from others, this would have consumed another 25-30 percent of the battery. Not a whole house solution but great for a 24 power outage. I have a gas generator for longer outages but my wife can’t always start it. May get the solar panels for the Jackery sometime soon.

You can power all sorts of devices with it and ot can be used as an UPS too. The LCD panel shows useful information about charge, inputs and outputs.
I don’t know if it will remain reliable long term, but so far it looks like a quality product. Considering getting a second one.

Bonne batterie. Utilisé moins d’une semaine pour l’instant mais j’aime l’application mobile qui vient avec. Facile d’utilisation.
J’ai testé l’UPS et ça fonctionne très bien. Possibilité de gérer la recharge de la batterie depuis le téléphone.

Jackery Explorer 2000 V2 Review:
I’m referring to the equipment as portable power station / PPS / battery.
PERFORMANCE:
It arrived well packaged and in perfect condition, with 30% charge.
WEIGHT:
When I first picked it up, I was happy we went with Jackery, being the least heavy among competitors (EcoFlow, Anker, Bluetti). At 40 lbs, it’s heavy for sure, but much more manageable for taking up/down the stairs than competitors’ 50-60 lb devices of equal capacity. I was also able to hoist it onto the counter when needed.
PRICE:
Black Friday, 2024:
We purchased from Amazon on Black Friday for $800 ($900, plus a $100 “coupon” that you just need to click the checkbox for). At the time, Jackery was selling for $900 (no coupon). I found the Jackery Explorer 2000 V2 to be comparable, but ~$100-200 lower cost than competitors mentioned above.
Dec6, 2024:
Amazon is back to selling for the regular listed price of $1500, with no sale. Jackery is back to the regular listed price of $1500, but with a $600 “coupon” automatically applied at checkout. This sale is the “Christmas Sale!” December 3-8. So Jackery’s Black Friday sale wasn’t exclusive to Black Friday.
Dec12, 2024:
Amazon: sale for $900
Jackery: sale for $1100 (listed at $1500, with $400 coupon)
LONGEVITY:
I have only had this product for about a week, so I can not speak to the longevity of the product.
