TL;DR: CT11Pro – Great elliptical, built sturdy, easy assembly, quiet and smooth. You should consider it.
We purchased the CT11Pro as my wife is tall and wanted the longer 18 inch stride that it provides. First for all the good things – It was easy to assemble and comes with the tools you need. I assembled it by myself but you’ll have to be careful with getting it out of the box if you don’t have help. It works very smoothly and quietly and the stride is great. It has a device holder although you’ll see in my negatives that it covers up the monitoring. It feels heavy duty which it should if it’s going to support up to 400lbs. And the biggest positive of all, my wife loves it (and so do I). 🙂
The only real negatives I’ve found so far is that I don’t think the heart rate monitor is very accurate. I have an apple watch that I compare it to and it’s just all over the place. It starts out much lower than what my watch then ends up higher. But, that’s why I have an Apple watch so that doesn’t bother me. So far, I haven’t really used the monitoring much at all so I don’t know if the distance, calories etc are accurate or not. It has a device holder but when you place your device in it, it covers up the monitor anyway, especially if you use an iPad or tablet. I do wish that the magnetic resistance dial was higher up because to adjust it you have to bend over and try to see what you are adjusting it to. Makes it a little harder if you are doing a pyramid program or something where you are adjusting resistance several times. Something that you will learn to do without looking though I believe. It has no water bottle holder like some have. The other negative was getting this thing shipped to me. It probably wouldn’t be any different than any other large item like this but it arrived way later than it was supposed to and came in a rented Enterprise box truck with 2 guys to carry it in. This might be because we are about 100 miles from an Amazon warehouse so you may or may not have any issues like this.
Even though it may look like my negative list is longer than my positives, they aren’t. There wasn’t much to explain on the positives. The positives far outweigh the negatives and I would certainly recommend this elliptical.
One other note I will say is that even though you can find reviews and assembly videos on Youtube, it doesn’t appear that Niceday has any real workout content out like the competition does but does connect with Kinomap which is interesting as you can choose different routes so you have different scenery. It requires a device and connects through bluetooth to the elliptical computer. It was fairly easy to connect and setup but I haven’t yet figured out if Kinomap is only subscription or if there is a free side of it so I’ve just been using Youtube videos created by others such as Sunny Health & Fitness being one and Apple Fitness+. Surprisingly, Apple Fitness+ or Peloton neither have specific elliptical workouts but you can use those geared for either cycling or treadmill as substitutes. The Apple watch has an elliptical workout also which will get you the metrics.

I bought the Classic Elliptical CT11S. The quality and function of this machine are so much better than I expected, or even hoped for! I paid $20 extra to have the box delivered to the room of my choice. (Getting it inside and downstairs would’ve been the hardest part.) Taking my time and making sure I read the directions carefully, it took 90 minutes to assemble the elliptical at a leisurely pace. There’s nothing confusing or difficult about the assembly, and the necessary tools were included. The peddling is smooth as silk and quiet as a whisper. My breathing is much louder than the machine. Lol! The tension knob to increase or decrease difficulty works well. The machine is easy to move and roll out of the way if needed. Some reviews have compared it to the commercial-grade ellipticals at the gym. They’re not the same thing and if you want to spend $7500+, go for it. But good luck getting that thing out of your house when you don’t want it anymore and good luck finding someone to repair it if it breaks down. Plus, this elliptical takes up a much smaller footprint than the big ones at the gym. I get a great workout with this and the quality is unbelievable at this price point. I’m so glad I bought it and I highly recommend!

My wife and I are loving this machine. The footprint is amazingly compact, it is very quiet, and most importantly it gives a great workout. We find that it’s much easier to get your heartrate up on this elliptical than on the recumbent bike we used to have. I had read online that some taller folks found the stride length to be too short but I find it to be quite comfortable. I am 5’9”.

For the money, this is a good elliptical. It was easy to assemble, it’s lightweight and easy to move around, and it’s quiet. You cannot adjust the stride on the one I bought, so the title of this item is misleading as it mentions a stride range. If you want that feature, make sure you’re purchasing the right one (not the Classic CT11S).
My only complaint so far is that, if you let go of the poles, you are leaning back a bit and it’s very uncomfortable. I like to be able to walk/run on it hands-free and I can’t really do that. I’m also a bit concerned about the dial for resistance, as it seems like it might wear out, but we’ll see how it goes! I needed a cheap elliptical to get myself back in the swing of things, so I think this is perfect for that. I will upgrade to a nicer one if I maintain my routine. 🙂

I am so happy with this purchase! I had knee surgery (partial meniscectomy) a few weeks ago, and my doc recommended the elliptical for rehab, but I knew going to the gym, especially in winter would be hard for me, so I bought this one. I struggled with whether to buy the classic design with the 15.5 inch stride, or to go with the higher priced version with the longer stride. I was on a budget so I decided to go with the classic C11S.
Assembly wasn’t too bad. I did it by myself (I’m old and fat), but I can see where a second person would make the job much quicker and easier. I used the provided tools and it took right at an hour. I did not attached the long handlebars since I never use them, and I have space constraints.
I love the small design and footprint. My house is small, but it fits beside my full-sized treadmill without issue. I slide it out from the wall when I use it so the pedals have room to swing, but it is fairly lightweight and the wheels make it easy to move.
I am accustomed to ellipticals in the gym, so I didn’t have high hopes for this one because it is so small – but my mind has changed on that. I was fairly fit before my knee took me down for six months, but with weight gain and loss of fitness I hoped this would still challenge me, and it does!
For my first workout I did 40 minutes on the lowest resistance, and was able to get my heart rate into zone 4, which is where I like to be for cardio fitness. So I know as I lose the weight and get more fit I will still have room to grow with this elliptical since I started at the lowest resistance level.
The stride feels shorter than a gym machine (duh) but it is not uncomfortable at all. I did find that if you try to pedal very slowly it does feel a bit jerky on the downstroke, but that’s going verryy slowly. So if you’re just pedaling during a workout, it is very smooth – and absolutely silent. You can pedal in reverse, but that didn’t feel as smooth to me.
I am 5’7″ and about 220 pounds, and this elliptical felt very stable. No shaking or wobbling. I thought I might get a pad to go under it to protect my floor, but it doesn’t slide around during use, even on hardwood. There is no incline, but I really don’t miss it, at least not yet.
I couldn’t be happier. This elliptical is a godsend for rehabbing my knee in the comfort of my home.

I purchased this because Shape magazine rated it as the best budget elliptical machine. I was still a little skeptical though, since it was only $400. It was super easy to put together with only a few major pieces that needed to be attached. It was too heavy for me to lift but my adult son lifted it easily. It’s very sturdy and well put together. I tried it for the first time last night and am so happy with it! I thought for sure it would be jerky or hard to use but it runs so smoothly and easily! It’s also silent so I was able to watch t.v. while using it. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants an elliptical machine but doesn’t want to spend thousands.

I’ve been using the NiceDay Smart Elliptical for a couple of days now and it’s been a great addition to my home gym. Setting up the elliptical was a breeze; the instructions were clear, and all the necessary tools were included. I had it up and running in about 30 minutes.
The machine itself is very sturdy. Even during intense workouts, it stays stable and doesn’t wobble. The magnetic resistance system is impressively quiet, which is perfect for my home environment as it doesn’t disturb anyone else.
However, there are a couple of downsides. The built-in pulse meter is quite inaccurate, so I can’t rely on it for accurate heart rate monitoring and have had to use a separate monitor. Additionally, as someone over 6 feet tall, I’ve found that the stride feels more like a stair stepper, which isn’t as comfortable or natural as I’d hoped.
Overall, despite these issues, I’m satisfied with the NiceDay Smart Elliptical. The easy setup, quiet operation, and sturdy build are definite highlights, making it a solid choice for my home workouts.

Okay, well the cold hard truth has finally landed. My usually workout at the YMCA GYM always starts with 30 minutes on an Elliptical Cross Trainer (two 15 minute reps, just to warm up). Because I wanted to improve my daily Cardio Work, we obtained a mid level, manual Elliptical for the house so I could use it every morning. That is when the big lie was revealed. After just 5 minutes on the new machine, my quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, and calves WERE ON FIRE! What kind of zero-intensity nonsense am I witnessing? The simple truth is that the Elliptical Machine at the gym has an electric motor driving the internal flywheel to “smooth it out”. Like power steering on a car, instead of the driver needing to crank the steering wheel. So from now on, I’ll get a real Cardio and lower body workout every morning, and two or three days a week, I’ll hit the GYM and warm up on the kiddie ride before doing an upper and lower body workout.

Assembly: I am no stranger to wrenches and screwdrivers. I did the job solo (mostly). It took me 1 hour and 45 minutes to put this together. That includes unpacking, carrying the parts through the house (I had help with the heavy bit), reading through the instructions, watching the three min. assembly video, and cleanup.
Tools: All the tools needed to put this together are included, but you might want to use better tools. Be advised you will need metric tools. The nuts are 13mm and 17mm. I have a 13mm socket, but no 17mm socket or wrench. Which is unfortunate as the 17mm nuts are used on the feet. I knew from other reviews I wanted to torque those nuts down to hold the feet securely in place as the machine was used. Doing that with the little wrench provided was uncomfortable.
Size: Very compact for what it is. It tucks nicely out of the way into the corner of the bedroom.
Noise: Whisper quiet. FWIW I have it on carpet. I’ve only been using it for two days, but so far no creaks or squeaks, truly impressive.
User Interface: Pretty basic, which is fine. I’m not looking for someone screaming in my face, or mountain road cross training programs. I just need something I can conveniently work up a sweat on. This does the job. Get on it, start peddling, turn the big knob to add or reduce resistance, BOOM.
But they get too cute with it trying to add functions that don’t really work. CAL for instance, supposedly counts the calories you burn, but in fact only counts how many cycles you peddle. If it was counting calories it would count faster when you dialed up the resistance. Likewise, what does “speed” or “distance” mean on this machine? Both of which seem to be measured in “mph”.
The pulse counter seems to work, but takes several seconds to settle on a value.
I have an issue with the phone/tablet holder. If you put your tablet on it, it blocks the display. It’s also located a bit far from your eyes and too close to your body. You have to tilt your head down to see it. It would have been much better to have a little extension above the display to hold it there. I may try to make something like that.
Stride: The first time I used this machine I was worried I made a bad choice. The stride is elliptical and not a perfect circle, but it’s more circular than I’d like. Peddling on it has some up and down motion (as can be seen in the video with the pretty young and fit actors using it). This made it more work than I wanted even with the resistance dialed down. However, on my second try I found a rhythm and a stride that I could maintain which minimized the up and down motion. Also, peddling backwards significantly reduced the up and down, at least for me. However I would have really liked the pedals to have been mounted like 6 inches farther from the flywheel.
Miscellaneous: On top of the flywheel, the plastic is discolored. It is not cracked or dented. It just looks like it was stressed. It appears that the plastic shell is mounted to a piece of metal and perhaps the full weight was supported at that point some time during shipping. Regardless, the machine operates smoothly and I don’t believe it was damaged in any way. It doesn’t concern me in the least.
ETA After a year of use, I am still happy with it. The only thing is the LCD display has faded to where I can’t read it without shining a light on it. No biggie for me, the only thing I was using it for was the timer and I can use my phone (which I always have for something to listen to while pedaling anyway). As stated above most of the display functions are bogus anyway, but if tracking your heart rate is important to you, it’s something to think about.

Ordered this for my bedroom/ office space and it’s the perfect size. Assembly took me an hour and instructions were very clear. No wobbling AT ALL. I still need to test it out so I’ll update then, but this is a SOLID elliptical. Never had one before and hate going to the gym. Cant wait to try it out and get moving! Definitely worth the price so far. Updates to come…
UPDATE: Managed half a mile and even on plush carpet it is sturdy (some wiggle room due to soft surface, but I might find wood or something to place under the bases) VERY smooth and VERY quiet so I can watch my show in peace while I sweat it out! 10/10 recommend!!

This was one of the best purchases I’ve made. It was fairly straightforward to assemble, although one of the screw holes didn’t align properly. Even with that, this thing is super sturdy, and it is COMPLETELY SILENT with use once everything was tightened properly. I’ve put 100 miles on it in 2 months and it works as well as it did when I put it together.
It has 16 resistance options and I feel like I get a great workout. It does have different “modes” but I haven’t investigated any of them as I get what I need from manually adjusting the resistance knob.
The ONLY things I would change at all are 1) I felt initially that the range of motion was small-ish (like the stride could’ve been longer) but it’s advertised as being compact and that’s probably the reason, and 2) that there’s no place to put a water bottle. But I’m not annoyed by either of these things enough to knock off a star.
Everybody buy this!

Amazing machine!, the wife loves it. Easy to assemble pretty straight forward.

It was long time being delivered but once received it was easy to assemble and is nice and quiet and does the job. No issues at this time. Only had it for a few weeks.

Quiet, easy to put together.
Good for smaller spaces.
Sturdy.
I would like it if the On board display would switch to metric.

I really enjoy my elliptical. It’s small enough to fit in my bedroom. It’s quiet enough not to wake sleeping people in the other bedrooms. I like that it doesn’t require an electric cord. It was not difficult to assemble by myself, a 70 year old female.

ETA
After a year of use, I am still happy with it.
