This Jackery HomePower 3000 is excellent! Incredible capacity for the weight. I can move it around easy enough that will take it on camping trips. The app works great and it can power anything, including power saws. Very easy to use and it charges SO fast!

Update: it did finally charge once it hit 8 degrees C. It charged quickly once it was able to start. I was able to use the AC and DC outputs once it hit 2 degrees C, which does improve my opinion of the power station. Overall I’m satisfied, but they will always have a star knocked off for the failed charging.
Very disappointed. The charging temperature range is stated to be 0 degrees C to 45 degrees C, but it apparently is not. The power station was in the car on a frigid day, brought it in and the battery temp was at -2. Warmed it up to 4, however still would not charge. Called customer service who stated it needs to be about 15 degrees to charge. He could not state why the specifications state otherwise. Basically it’s a lie that it will charge above 0 degrees. Not sure if I will keep this as bought it to use at an off-grid cabin in Northern Minnesota.

I don’t regret buying this at all because now I get to see how much energy I’m really using and being that I have two solar watts at 200 W that I haven’t connected let me know that I’m only gonna need three more solar panels and an inverter up in my RV if you’re not sure how much electricity you use and you’re confused with the calculator you’re better off getting this. It lasts a long time but it’s just me by myself so I’ve come to realize that in total I use 1800 thousand watts and that’s me taking a shower running the heater running my fans running my TV running my Internet if you have a ring doorbell or one that ones runs off of Wi-Fi or cameras around your camper and you’re a full-time RV like me and you already have solar panels up top. This is good because when you’re home, you can run your TV until you have the right connections, but this is still a good backup plan and you don’t consume too much electricity because other two hours it’s already charged and that’s by cord as far as in solar panels the 200 solar panel I would have to buy another two and then I would have to buy the cord that’s like $60 a pot to be able to charge that generator completely under three hours because with the two solar panels that takes about 11 hours to charge at 400 W when connecting these together, make sure that you fully charge it always fully charge anything you get and then use it and then as far as connecting the solar panels, there’s two ends that come with this don’t try the second one cause you won’t see no solar charging try the first one on both of them and you’ll see it charge. It says it in the manual and I’m sure not a lot of people want to read that manual you just wanna plug and play but it works for me. It lets me know how much I use which makes it easier for me to purchase the rest of my solar panels for my RV and see where I’m at and see how I use it and then purchase another two solar panels for this, but you could definitely go off grid with this with the right amount of solar panels. I have a 25 foot travel trailer if you have something bigger and you want to run everything get the biggest one that there is of these things they really do work. I got this one because it was easy to hide in my compartment and you have to leave the ventilated and if you plan to run an extension cord to it, it has to be 14 awg
Extension cord because the cord itself reads that is 14 awg and you don’t want to cause a fire but the good thing about it is you can simultaneously connect the solar panels and plug it into your house and it’ll charge faster probably charge underneath an hour if there’s a lot of sun if you want to do it that way I like it I really do like it. This size works perfect for me because I have a small travel trailer, but if you have a bigger one and a bigger family, I would suggest getting the bigger one. Mind you I shut this off during the day and you can control it and shut it off through the app itself. It’s 60 pounds in weight pretty easy to live when it came. I had to unboxed it right where I was at because I wasn’t gonna be able to carry that box if you plan to get this and you don’t like a lot of lifting get the set of wheels for it separate it’s only $100. I really don’t see the difference in getting the wheels for it because that one is expensive and they both do the same thing. It’s easier to get the parts separate and connect it. Just in my opinion, I know you cannot add an extra battery to it if you’re looking for that then this is not the one for you
Because you can’t extend the battery pack, there’s more for people that already have an existing solar on their roof I want to do an upgrade. This will definitely work well with your system because you can switch both of them back-and-forth. That way you make it last longer, but you could definitely go off grid with this with the things that I mentioned. Once I have everything at that point, I’m not going to need to charge. I’m going to be able to go completely off grid for days at a time once I have all the solar panels on my roof because then I can switch it and charge it being that I know that it pulls 1585 watts so once I’m close to draining one battery, I can switch it to my system and my RV and charge it from there but that’s it if I have an inverter which I’m going to get that’s why I’m just calculating right now that’s why I find it good for me

I have two of the Jackery 1000v2’s but needed one with more capacity for high use appliances like refrigerator and microwave. The 1000’s do a great job and will power many things but would not last through an outage of more than a day or little longer. This 3000 version will give a couple days or more for our more critical appliances allowing the 1000 V2’s to last longer too as well as being able to have power in different locations at the same time. These are not cheap, no doubt, but well worth the investment. They are expertly made high quality units that give you great outage power in a compact form. I will say with regard to the weight, this 3000 is not light. The handle makes it easier to manage, but it is not a lightweight unit.

Works great, takes about 6 hrs to fully charge on a sunny day. Can run a fridge for 2 days on this, I have tried it. Also charges 2 e bikes and a 2 cell phones and powers my tv and internet all at the same time. The solar panels are a very nice added feature.

I have this 3000, 1000 explorer, and 240 explorer. What I like about this HomePower 3000: the Jackery brand name, the competitive pricing which tell me that their marketing dept is in the business to capture the majority of the market share so they’re in for the long run, the lovely look of it. Alright, let’s get to the real things: I’ve owned other power stations, but Jackery beats the daylight out of them. The reliability is unbelievable. It has many protections built in. You could do nothing wrong. Very smart computer system inside. You can use a 1000 watt generator to charge it too, but just set it to quiet charge mode first via its free app. You can set it to 15% discharge down and 80% charge up to prolong the battery life. Even if you discharged it to zero percent, you won’t damage the unit at all because it has battery management system (BMS) built in. The battery won’t lose power over time. It will continue to show the same percentage if you don’t use it. It’ll tell you the powers of input and output on the unit itself as well as in the app. The battery power and the output wattage correspondence with each other 100%. For example, if your heater uses 1000 watts, then the unit will supply three hours of usage. For 500 watts, 6 hrs. For 200 watts, 15 hrs. With 3600W continuous output (7200W surge peak), you can run high power appliances with no sweet. You can control the unit via your snartphone’s Bluetooth or the wifi. With the wifi, the can control it from out of town as long as you have the unit turned on. You can charge it and use it at the same time. But make sure the charge in power is higher than the power you use to prolong the life of it. This applies to any brands. I use my Jackery 240 Explorer for my wifi router power backup because it works much better than my Cyberpower 1500A APC power station. Make sure to set it to never turn off via the app.

What I wish for improvement: The app wouldn’t be able to find the unit via Bluetooth mode after turning it on for a while. Hopefully, the app update will fix this.

It works great! I’m not a big fan of the solar charging feature, but I’ve used it a couple of times, and it worked well. I used it for work fishing and camping, and it always lasted worth the purchase.

Update: Now Jackery has addressed my questions and concern. My power stays essentially UPS with enough load. The flashing light is not cause for concern, they assure me, and Alexa integration was improperly promised and definitely not possible. I’m reserving one star for that mistruth and the minimal load requirement not documented. BTW: The minimum power is less than a router and MoDem I believe as my power has been steady on for days under that load.

Update: Seller contacted me in response to my review and ask for another chance at solving my problems and answering my question about flashing lights. Great! Right? That is the last I’ve heard from them even tho I submitted a detailed rephrasing of my questions. So; Why does it just randomly shut off the power and why is a light flashing from inside the box.
    I’m taking another star away.

Original: Wanted to love it, but unsure now. Easy setup. Heavy but manageable – I’d get a cart if I planned on moving it around. Absolutely NOT Alexa compatable as the Jackery skill is a ghost. The factor taking two stars away is support. There is none. The support URL results in 404 not found. The jackery site is only sales and the support link just resumes the product push. My unit has a flashing light like a lighthouse from inside pulsing out through the air grill. I’d be much relieved to know why. This is too expensive for no support and no right to return. You will be on your own and even Jackery ‘s AI only has one answer to any question:”Sorry, I didn’t understand. Can you please rephrase your question?”

UPDATE: I had to return this unit to Jackery, I simply couldn’t physically manage it. I have to say that the “rumors” about Jackery’s outstanding customer service are 100% true. I am updating this review to praise Brian at Jackery who helped me get this process completed. He couldn’t have been more helpful. To be honest, I was amazed. There were some goats to rope in the process. Through it all Brian helped me manage it, and made sure my refund was processed properly. HIGH PRAISE for this. If you run into communication issues with customer service, ask for BRIAN (sorry Brian 🙂 ) he’s wonderful. I have some stern words for American company FEDex using Pakistan as their customer service center. I hope you never have to call them. Ever.

    Customer SERVICE 5 stars.

The original review below applies to the practice of review mixing. Jackery isn’t the only vendor that does this. We all know the importance of reviews to selling and review mixing helps new products get seen. HOWEVER, when two products sharing reviews are so dramatically different in features it causes purchase mistakes to be made as I outlined rather angrily in my initial review.

Just last night I started the search for a different power station, resigned to getting one that would hold a charge well, charge well, came with all cables, and wasn’t heavier than 10 pounds. Wiser to review mixing I would open the review page, choose “newest” and only look at reviews made most recently, ignored all reviews that just said “verified purchase” and looked more closely at the FINE PRINT if there was any–on the exact unit purchased if that was available. Let me tell you–it’s mind numbing to pick through the reviews to find ones that apply to the actual product listed and not ten other of the company’s products. Very fine faint print. If a purchase has been made long enough ago it’s only going to say verified purchase so ignore those reviews, they are rarely for the product listed.

Needless to say I was unsuccessful in finding anything. I’d already given up on getting a unit capable of running a 12v blanket and staying warm when our power goes out this winter. I now just want to keep my phone charged. Not a lot to ask, I don’t think. I failed. Then I watched a new video documentary about the plights of the workers at this “fine” establishment”, it’s new but I’d best not name it. Then I was guilt filled for using it at. TBH I don’t know how “the big guy” sleeps at night but I bet his belly is full, he’s warm at night and he’s kept happy in en la cama.

COMMENCE ORIGINAL REVIEW which is NOT about the quality of the product, it is solely about the practice of mixing reviews to get eyes on new products.
    ____________________________
I have no idea if this works or not. I hope it does, for the price. MY issue is Amazon allows sellers to combine reviews for their products. I want to read reviews for the product I want to buy not ALL the products the vendor sells.

I couldn’t tell if the Jackery 3000 had wheels and a pull out handle like the other units (that weigh less) and I asked Rufus, who insisted the Jackery 3000 had wheels and a pull out handle, quoting some specs. I couldn’t see any wheels but reckon they retracted and reviews mentioned the handy wheels and pull out handle. SO I bought it…and guess what? RUFUS LIED.

There are no wheels or pull out handle on the 60 pound Jackery 3000. I am old, I am disabled. I could barely scoot the boxes into my apartment which took nearly 45 minutes to get 4 feet. No worries, once I managed to get it out of the box–it will be fine because it has wheels. There were NO WHEELS.

The images of people blissfully carrying their jackery with one hand tripping through the forest? Not sure what model that’s was for, but it’s got nothing to do with the Jackery 3000. It will take two people to carry this thing anywhere or a beefy muscle man. Why Amazon allows all a seller’s product reviews to be mixed up–and then let’s their AI lie when you try to be SURE you are getting a device you can manage yourself.

I came back to challenge RUFUS on the wheel lies and it still insisted, for ten more minutes arguing with me that the Jackery 3000 had wheels. Then when I finally convinced it that the wheels are a lie, the daggoned AI tried to sell me a wheeled cart! Smooth move Amazon. There is zero way I can send this back because I barely got it out of the box that took nearly an hour of wrangling. WHAT is wrong with this company to make such a heavy product and not put wheels and a handle on it? At this point I am too exhausted to even figure out how to hook it up and see if it works and I certainly won’t be toting it out to my car to charge while driving if I need to, I wouldn’t be able to get it out the door. I told the LYING Rufus Amazon should give me a free cart for allowing 1. Rufus to LIE, and 2. vendors to have all the reviews for their products on ONE page. Rufus provided me links to cheap carts sold at premium prices, kindly even advise me to get a stair climing cart…for a price, which I wouldn’t need if Rusfus wasn’t a liar and the reviews on the page for the Jackery 3000 were ONLY FOR THE JACKERY 3000. I would have gotten the Detal 3 pro with WHEELS AND A HANDLE and expandable battery.

Can you tell I’m mad? Now all my friends are asking me, so–did it have wheels? and getting a good chuckle at how absolutely furious I am…because Rufus lied, the Jackery 3000 has no wheels and the vendor is absolutely insert any appropriate words to indicate how absolutely insert word it is to make a product so heavy you need to rent a body builder to move it and not think to put WHEELS AND A HANDLE ON IT.

Very nice product. Have taken it camping and it’s a game changer. Run lighting, toaster, coffee maker, space heater and the battery last for days. I will buy more solar panels for longer trips. With the space heater it runs solid for 3 days.

My husband is in love with this. We got it for on the back of our property where we have a pond so we can run the lights in our little barbecue shack. It’s so quiet and it has enough power to run everything all the lights, fans, and a little mini AC as we live in Florida. Easy to connect and very easy to take and move if needed. We got the solar panels with ours.

    Second Jackery purchase.
    Highly recommend.
We are in a very rural, mountainous area with poor grid power.
This saved our butts multiple times.
The solar panels are under powered but reliable

Purchased for RV use while I’m at my hunting property as I have no electric service there, works great along with the solar pannel’s as a supplement power source as long as I can get full sun it will run the RV except for the air conditioner which I don’t need during hunting season, Helps save a lot of fuel as I only have to run the generator at times when sunlite is not enough to keep the solar generator charged as my property where my trailor is has a lot of trees keeping the sun from reaching the solar panels.
