C12 pro plus- mopping and self emptying canister station.
Background:: this is my fourth robotic vacuum manufacturer. I started with a cheap knock off, then I had 2 YTE (and got one for my dad) and 3 out of 4 Zoozee vacuums have died at my hands. My first vacuum, the cheap knock off, still works, but it didn’t have any bells and whistles no mapping no lidar and honestly it still works – we use it in the basement. The YTE vacuums didn’t make it three months- 2 died at my house and the one I bought for my father for his less vigorous usage also did not survive six months. I had some manufacturing issues with the Zoozee- 2 two didn’t work right out of the box, and they replaced them, and then I had intermittent issues with one where the fan wouldn’t work, and eventually the suction gave up entirely. And the other one I opened her up to try to fix her when she started having problems again with the fan and ultimately was unable to do so. I have one.Zoozee left that is still functional, but her suction is starting to fall off. So I bought this vacuum because of one parent parentheses higher suction power, and into a “guaranteed tangle free brush”. I have a long haired Alaskan malamute, and there is a lot of hair in my house!
And OH MY GOD! SO HAPPY SO FAR!
The brush is not tangled free. Sorry, Yeedi, but it does tangle. It is, however so much easier to clean than the other tangled blushes, and it goes longer before it actually does tangle: while the vacuums would usually only go about two rooms where I can do the whole first floor with my. Yeedi before I need to worry about cleaning it. Be aware that the little rubber wheel should be pried off to get any hair from underneath it if you have pets. I didn’t realize it was easily removable or that was hair was getting under it and I was having issues with the brush saying it was tangled, even though I had cleaned it. Got the little rubber wheel off, and there was a lot of hair underneath it. But easy enough to pop right back on and good as new.
The suction is really good. It is loud, both the suction and the brush itself can be a little noisy. However, my floors are cleaner than they’ve been in 10 years – lol. My husband doesn’t like me to run it if we are in the first floor, but honestly, as someone who’s used to regular vacuum noise, doesn’t really bother me.
The seven weeks canister emptying is utterly laughable if you have any pets. But I usually go three or four days of cleaning and then empty it and it’s no big deal pops right off pops right in – very convenient.
I only started using the mopping function last week. It is no more or less cumbersome than any other robotic mopping function, where you have to switch out canisters to switch from vacuum to mopping modes. I like that it does a suction vacuuming on the front half of the vacuum while it’s mopping behind itself- helps get a little dust up before getting it moist. The vibration of the mopping pad seems relatively effective – not as effective as doing it manually, but better than nothing! And it’s so cute as she shakes her little booty!
Overall, I am very, very pleased with the functionality and capabilities of this vacuum over all the others I have tried. I haven’t bought any of the high priced vacuums yet and I don’t think I will ever need to now that I have this one. There’s a great degree of functionality and effectiveness at a reasonable price.
TLDR: the brush is not tangled free, but it is easier to clean than other brushes.
vacuum can be a little loud at highest settings vacuum cleans really, really well.
Many good features for a reasonable price.

This yeedi c12 is really good for the price. I use it at max power and the battery life is far better than my previous robot vacuum, the roomba E series. The app is easy to use and it’s efficiency is top notch. The mopping features could be improved so i can use it even though the mop head is on, but the suction even on quiet mode is insanely good! Durability is very premium. And it gets tough corners really nicely like its no problem at all. Already very impressed! The bin is super easy to empty out and refilling the mopping solution (or water if you want) is super easy to refill. If your looking for a robot vacuum that has lidar technology, get this thing. It is very budget friendly. There is one con I wish they could improve is the app bugs. It will on rare occasions log you out. But that doesn’t bother me that much because I use my passkey on that app anyway. Otherwise, awesome product! The spin rate on the lidar system is extremely precise. Just imagine a tesla with autopilot. That’s what this is, but with lidar and in a vacuum form. Would i recommend getting this budget overall? No. But is it recommended for budget lidar technology? Absolutely.

I’ve been wanting a good robot vacuum for a while to spend less time cleaning by hand. I bought the YEEDI C12 PRO Plus and I’m very happy with it.
It vacuums really well — powerful enough to pick up large debris and hair. Plus, it has a mopping function, and the floors honestly feel freshly cleaned afterward.
I love that everything can be controlled through the app. I figured it out quickly, even though I’m usually not great with tech. It maps the room by itself and moves around carefully without bumping into furniture.
The battery lasts a long time — one charge is enough to clean my whole apartment.
Overall, it’s a great home assistant. Clean, convenient, and I don’t have to do anything myself!

I decided to “try out” a robot vacuum with Prime Days prices. I HATE vacuuming, or any housework really, because I just don’t have the time! Was considering hiring a “cleaning lady” recommended by friends, but thought if this little gizmo worked out, I’d actually save money…
This one was $140 with a $40 coupon, and it mentioned that it has one of the biggest dustbins AND is highly rated for picking up hair (I don’t have pets, but I have long hair, down most of my back, so I actually “shed” a lot and cleaning up hair grosses me out! Haha). So, I thought, why not? With Amazon’s return policy, I figured if it didn’t work out, I’d just return it.
Well, it worked QUITE well (great suction which really cleaned up with all my hair, and without getting jammed up!). I was surprised with how much dust it picked up too – I ran it a few times and it got more dust with each run (guess I should have.l been vacuuming more regularly!)…
So I figured it was a keeper, and wanted to share my luck (and the link for purchase) with a friend. I saw that the price dropped even further (down another $20?) so I asked Amazon if they’d give me a credit for the difference. They wouldn’t (ugh), so I figured I’d return and re-buy at the lower price.
Then, as I saw another similarly priced one (the smaller model in the picture), I thought it’d be better just to try and compare it to another model. Well that model was cute and had a cool remote with a lot more patterns (this one only does the random pattern If you don’t have WiFi – and I heard the app isn’t great – but check out the time lapse video to see it at work), but it did NOT have the same suction and power. I returned that one promptly! And since the price on this is now $200 (yup, it’s now doubled since Prime Days), I am KEEPING IT!
And quite honestly, it really is worth the $200 (maybe even more), but I love a good deal!
At $100 or $200, this will NOT disappoint! It’s strong, sleek, quiet, and does the job VERY WELL! Get it while you can 😉

I own two other robot vacuums in my home, and while they do the job… This one is on a whole other level. While my other two vacuums somewhat do the job, they stumble into every wall and sometimes miss parts of the house so I often find dust bunnies right after vacuuming.
I decided to get this to replace both of my older vacuums, and so far no regrets! The battery on this lasts longer than my two other vacuums combined! My home is about 1200 square feet, and one battery charge lasts the entire home. I love how the docking station effortly collects all the dust after a vacuum session, so will rarely need to clean it. The mopping function also works really well! Just as good as if I manually mopped the floor. You can tell the suction power is quite strong, because absolutely everything gets picked up, even larger debris. And yet, the noise level is very low. The application allows me to control the vacuum and set routines with ease, I really love it.

This is the worst robot ever. Each time you go to use it, it is off-line. The app is nonfunctional. You have to uninstall and delete all information, including the app then reinstall the app and the robot each time.
I did contact the company because the robot will also not hold a charge after the third day. It is dead. I have made sure that it is in a proper outlet. I have used other outlets and it will not hold a charge. The vacuum cleaner had approximately 21 hours of use when I contacted the company with the above complaints. They did send me a replacement.
The replacement I just received. It has less than three hours of use on it and guess what…. Problems! The first use it worked as I thought it should. This is my first experience with a robot vacuum. There was hair caught in the roller. The ad states no hair tangles. This is untrue as I had to remove and clean the roller. (I vacuumed my house prior to using the robot so there was very little hair on the floor. )
Very little dirt is picked up because the roller holds a wad of dog hair preventing other debris to go into the dirt bin. Again, this roller is advertised as good for picking up pet hair. It is not! You have to manually empty the bin in the robot, flip it over to remove the roller to remove the wad of hair. This occurred after I used a shop vac and manually washed all my new vinyl floors to do a deep clean a day before using this robot. Once hair removed, put everything back together and try to resume the process of cleaning.
The second day of use is today. I used it 2 days ago and Vacuum is off line. Due to previous experience with the first YEEDI, I remembered I had to delete the app in order to get the vacuum back on line.
So, I have to now delete the app and all information and reinstall the app. Take my camera on my phone to scan the scanning label in the robot. Put everything back into the app: my email, my country, etc you name it in order to use it.
So, now I’m set to use it for a second vacuum cleaning. I’ve not dared to try the washing feature…. So the robot will go in a couple straight lines in a normal rectangle room and then all of a sudden it will veer on a diagonal Like it’s lost then it will come back and then it will do another diagonal across the room like it’s gone haywire.
It has difficulty finding its home. It will go to several rooms looking for its home. Even when you place the vacuum within a foot of its homebase, it still runs through two rooms and a hallway trying to locate its home.
Back to the diagonal, you don’t know when it’s going to veer off so do not be anywhere near this because it will run over your toes. It does not have a device apparently good enough to know that something‘s in front of it. It’s run over my toes. It has run over my dog’s toes, causing him to yelp.
Buyer beware!! I have requested the company for a full refund. I will send this one back as it is also non-functioning. The app is absolutely terrible. I will update once I hear back from YEEDI.
In the meantime, I will be buying a different brand which I should’ve bought a better name brand. Sorry Yeedi, but you do not deserve my money.

This robotic vacuum works so well. It’s the second time I have purchased a robotic vacuum in the first one was a different brand and did not work near as well as this one. In fact, it broke before a year of having it. After doing plenty of diligence, reading reviews, and researching which one I wanted to get and which was the best bang for my buck, I decided on this one. I’m sure glad I did! This vacuum is almost 2 times the size of my first one she is large and in charge and we have lovingly named her Vivienne because she is so fancy! When I first set it up, I put the app on my phone and it was a piece of cake. Vivienne got to mapping the house in no time. As you can see in my pictures, the small room at the top green room is my laundry room the gray squares represent all rugs in my house. There is an area rug in my dining room at the bottom, an area rug in my living room at the top. This is color coded as my living room and eat in kitchen are all pink, as Vivienne has decided it is one room. The white circles represent my modular sectional sofa as Vivienne goes around each one of them since they each have four legs, but they are connected together, so on the map they look like three circles next to each other. The big pink blobs in the map are my counters and island, and one is my dining room table. This is the downstairs of my home only since the upstairs I don’t take Vivienne to. All the white scribbles are the places Vivienne has cleaned. If I have the mop water connected to Vivienne, she will not go on my area rugs since it has already been mapped. If I switch to the vacuum, then she will clean everything, including the rugs. I have several dogs, a toddler and older kids living in my home. I have had no issues at all with this robot can you stepped on, kicked, or lost. I got it several weeks ago, and the only time it has stopped was when the brush got tangled and one of my throw rugs by my front door. That was because there was a long loose string that needed to be cut. I have Vivienne set to start cleaning every morning at 9 AM. Before I go to bed at night I fill up the water in her tank and put it back on her. She cleans herself and will tell you in the app as well as verbally when she needs to be maintenanced. In the app, it will allow you to pause your robot, set a timer for your robot, and many other useful things. You can set it to go over everything twice which I have done and there is not one spot missed. I’m very impressed with how my floor looks and I have not had to do anything extra except for once because even though she does have a vibrating bottom on her mop, sometimes it’s just not hard enough if you’ve got a set in stain on your floor that needs to be scrubbed. There are multiple settings. You can set her to increase the suction from mild to moderate to tornado. It does get louder with each increase as well as use more battery a little faster with each increase. For my household, I have found that the middle setting works perfectly and she cleans the whole house every day and makes it back to her dock with battery to spare. You can also increase the mop water that you want her to distribute again I only use the middle moderate amount so there will be enough to cover the whole bottom floor of my home. I have a fairly large home of 2600 sq feet. You cannot add any cleaning agent to her mop water otherwise you could ruin the inside parts and ruin your machine and warranty if you bought it. On occasion, I will spray the hardwood with a little bit of cleaner here and there so when she goes over it, it doesn’t overwhelm, but does spread some cleaner on the floor. If you put too much, you will be faced with a bunch of sticky bubbles so use it sparingly if you choose to do so. This is an excellent quality robot that really is beneficial. The amount of dog hair and dust and dander that she can pick up is insane. I recommend this robot 1000% and I hope I have helped you make your decision. Have a great day!!!

The vacuum works perfectly and cleans very well, easy to program and navigate through the app. However, the app frequently logs me off while the vacuum is doing a task, and it changes languages on the home screen before I log in again.

12/29/2024 Update: After some time with this robot, it is still working great. The app prompts when it’s time to clean (wipe sensors, clean filter or replace parts). I just did the first cleaning of the bin and filter area (still 10 hours left on the original filter). I have a replacement part bundle waiting for when it’s time to actually replace something. No issues other than the app messing up the map (twice so far) which is easily restored from a backup (the fact that they have backup as an option tells me this must be something they expect to happen). It also was having LDS (the spinning sensor part, I think) errors, solved by cleaning around that part. I am still blown away by how much stuff this picks up compared to every model Roomba I have had.
I bought the very first Roomba model when it came out, and have been using various models of Roombas ever since. I have three currently, with the newest one being a self-emptying S9+.
This Yeedi is so much better, so let me get the only negatives out of the way first:
1. The C12 Pro Plus is listed as being able to climb over a .7″ bump. My threshold between hallway to kitchen is more than that, and the C12 gets stuck there. Sometimes it will make it over, but it won’t go back (probably a cliff sensor reacting to the black rubber transition strip we hav there). Workaround: A mall mat. After that, no issue. (Roomba can make it over this, but two other non-iRobot
2. The C12 has multiple levels of vacuuming power. On the highest level (a tornado icon), it pulls up the light throw rugs from the kitchen floor and gets stuck on them. It has no issues with any of the heavier throw rugs. Workaround: Yeedi lets you adjust the suction power by zone, so I just dropped down the power when doing the kitchen. After that, no issue. (Roomba has no issue with this, probably due to its much weaker suction.)
Everything else is far superior to any of the iRobot devices I have had — even one that cost twice as much as this Yeedi!
Epic features:
1. The station uses a bagless bin that the robot empties in to. Not only does this save money (no bags to by) but you can easily see when it needs to be emptied. It gets handfuls of pet hair and fluff every time, even after the Roomba has been ran.
2. The mapping is so fast. It just drives around while the little spinning sensor on the top (Lidar? maybe?) figures out where the walls are. The map it produced was much more accurate! It also figures out where rugs are and represents them on the map after a job.
3. The app shows the route the Yeedi took! If you set it for 1-pass, you see a smart zig-zag pattern. When you set it for 2-pass, you will see it does a criss-cross pattern. While vacuuming, the app shows where the robot is in realtime. Fascinating to watch!
4. The robot has a pop-off side brush for easy cleaning. No need for a screwdriver! And, I have yet to find a bundle of hair under it, like the Roomba seems to do after every few cycles.
5. The brushes have some kind of magic. The Roomba needs regular cleaning where you remove the brushes and pull balls of hair from each end, and cut strands that have wrapped around the brush. After 30+ hours of using the Yeedi (in a two pet household), not once have I had to do that. HOW is this possible?
6. The app lets you send it to just a specific room, or tap multiple rooms just to do them. Current higher end Roombas have this feature, but the Yeedi app makes it much easier to actually use.
…and so much more. The unit backs in to the dock, announcing that it is charging, then emptying the bin, then will resume after that. It navigates very well, around objects, slowing down before hitting things. Whatever they are doing, it is very advanced and not at all what I had expected from a brand I have never heard of.
And it mops. I have an iRobot Baava robot mop that has an advantage of being much smaller (it will fit between the toilet and the wall). The Yeedi has a mopping bin (remote the dust bin, fill the mop bin with water and plug it in). It does not use special pads (it comes with two Velcro-on reusable pads). It does not do any soap — just water — so the Braava might be doing a better job. BUT, after letting it run one time, the pad came back dirtier than I’ve ever seen the Braava’s. The mop also vibrates as it goes, much more intensely than the tiny Braava.
GREAT SUPPORT: I have written their support a few times, asking about issues with the threshold (they suggested the mat) and the carpets (lower the suction). They have been very helpful with suggestions, and respond within day.
I went in to this highly skeptical that it could be any good. At half the price of a high end Roomba, I expected half the quality. After 30+ hours in use (then the app teaches you where to wipe down with a cloth to clean sensors!) I am not 100% convinced this is the best vacuum robot I have ever had. (I do not have enough experience with robot mops — but have owned the Scooba and Braava.)
I think that’s all I have to say. I am blown away by how good this unit works. If they could make it handle larger thresholds, that would remove my only real nitpick.
Kudos to Yeedi.
