His body twists so it’s easy to position his arms well for balance and keeping drips contained. He can also stand up by himself to hold utensils off the counter.

The spoon rest is a nice weight and the material seems pretty robust. The little doggie characters are quite cute and their shape means they can clip to the side of pots to let a dirty spoon drip back in, or even doing double duty as a pot lid vent, or they can sit upright on the countertop. Their size is nice as you can easily fit them in a busy kitchen drawer.
