PREMIUM MATERIAL & CRAFT – We ROCOCO continue to inherit and improve the traditional manual forging technology, from the high tempreture treatment, hand-forging, quench, sharpening edge to assembling with the stainless steel handle. Each ROCOCO knife is hand-forged and by experienced blacksmiths with premium stainess steel to ensure higher sharpness, higher wear resistance, durability and 60±2 HRC hardness.
SHARP & PRETTY BLADE- The sturdy cleaver knife blade is with a special curved shape. The hand-polished 15° V-shaped blade edge minimizes cutting resistance, helps you cut food effortlessly precisely without juice or smashing them, keeping nutrition inside the ingredients. The stainless steel is anti-rust, easy to clean and maintain. It works well as a kitchen tool from the cutting board to the pan!
LABOR-SAVING RED HANDLE – The handle is perfectly upcurved and the grip moved forward to get a shorter force distance, the power of the hand will be more effectively transmitted to the food. The handle is seamlessly integrated into the blade to form a complete oval shape. The unique ergonomic design creates an excellent labor-saving, well-balanced and safe non-slip grip to minimize numbness or pain on the palm and wrist. Even after prolonged use, you will not fatigued!

These knives are pressed from a larger sheet of metal. The areas of handle and the hanger hole are very sharp from that process. It’s a little light for what it is, my Walmart meat cleaver has more weight to it. I’m also not impressed it doesn’t come with a blade cover. cons: cheaply made in comparison to the price. It’s stamped not forged. Quality control is seriously lacking. Don’t have a blade cover, low overall weight./ pros curved blade great for rocking the knife, wood handle is comfortable, unique design.
Edit: Seller contacted me to address the issues I listed. We were able to arrive at a resolution. I appreciate the seller’s willingness to hear feedback and move forward with positive solutions. They reached out almost immediately so very responsive. That’s a huge step forward and worth a better rating.

Surprisingly versatile and well made. I am not going to use this as a cleaver for cutting through bone, and honestly am not sure if it will. I cook a lot of vegetarian dishes with some meat and this is perfect for me.
It’s nicely constructed, but the cut out under the handle needs to be better finished because it’s almost abrasive. I still give it five stars because of the functionality and overall design *for the price.*
Normally I have a pair of chef knives and assorted other cutting tools. This will easily replace all of those (for my cooking style.) In fact, this, a smaller mezzaluna for mincing herbs, and a bread knife are all I truly need, so based on this knife I am going to greatly downsize my knife collection.
One final note: not all stainless steel will stick to a magnetic. This one will, which (to me) is a major plus because I store my knives in a magnetic board.

It’s a solid cooking knife, takes a bit of getting used to having the blade under your wrist, but the ergonomics feel nice. Little pressure is needed for chopping but because of this, you need to be careful. Cleaning it is a bit awkward as there’s no real way to safely clean it like a normal knife.

4 stars only because it has no sheath. It really needs one. Also make sure your fingers are OUT of the way and don’t let your attention wonder when you use it. Worst cut I’ve had since I was like 8. LOL! Very sharp. I like to use it for cutting meat. Does a decent job on veggies too.

I have carpal tunnel syndrome and got one of these to help reduce strain on my wrists in my kitchen job, and I love it. I made an adjustment to using it though – I turned it around and it significantly reduced the amount of work to cut vegetables. I have to be very careful with the tip of the knife when using it that way but HUGE improvement. I might just have to get one for at home too.

I’ve had people come into my kitchen, and before too long exclaim, “What the “heck” is that?!” It’s sleek, well-constructed, and SHARP! (In more ways than one) Many like this unique ulu-inspired cleaver more than the actual Damascus-blade ulus on the magnet right next to them. (Note the 3 pics. I had to get creative with the lighting to show off that gorgeous wood grain.) When I say “unique”, I am understating its visual impact. A beautiful multipurpose blade, which I wish I had found decades ago. SO versatile! If that’s not enough, the handle is the most comfortable to hold and use in the whole room, hands-down. Just stay mindful of that big, razor-sharp blade!

When I first got this knife it needed sharpening, but after sharpening it, I really like the design and feel of this knife over the Chef’s knife that I have normally used. It fits well in my hand, feels balanced, and seems to be a more natural method of cutting and slicing since it the handle is above the knife rather than at the end of it. At this point, I have not used this knife as a cleaver, but more as a tool for cutting and chopping. The curved blade works well for chopping and does as well as a curved Chef’s knife with less effort. I have used this knife for slicing tomatoes and onions, and have chopped a number of veggies and herbs for recipes. It has worked very well for all of these tasks.
Since the blade is stainless steel, it is unlikely to rust, but stainless steel alone generally needs to be sharpened more often. Since I have had this knife for only a short time, the durability is yet to be proven. If you do a lot of slicing, cutting, and chopping, I would recommend this knife.
UPDATE 3/19/26: I have been using this knife for a couple of months. Although it hasn’t replaced my chef’s knife for some jobs, it definitely makes some cutting and chopping jobs much easier. Having the handle on top of the knife feels like a much more natural and balanced way to hold a knife for slicing, cutting, dicing, and chopping than a chef’s knife. I also very much appreciate the curved blade for finely chopping herbs, onions, garlic, and so much more.
I will update this review if my opinion changes. I hope this review was helpful for you.
