It’s a fun gizmo. Setup was easy and I have it about 100ft apart, from the weather device and the indoor tablet. The humidity for outside is often way off, but temperature indoor and outdoor is spot on. The barometer is also accurate (according to weather apps for my location) The rain catcher doesn’t record anything. My issues with the indoor tablet are the colors per set of information, you can read the temperatures from across the room, and the wind speed, but everything else is very dark and only visible if you are standing within a foot or two.
But all and all I still think it’s a fun gizmo.

First of let me tell you that this is a fantastic buy for me. It does everything I need and a little more. Right from unboxing to setting this weather station up, I was up and going within 10-15 minutes. Very, very easy to set this up. There are two sets of instructions. Quick set up, will have you up and going in about 5-10min. Then there are the more detailed instructions that you can read through all the functions of the weather station. You can mount the main sensor unit virtually anywhere. Round pole, wooden stake, a fence, roof, pole, it has endless mounting option. I mounted it to a squared off stake at first as I wanted to test it before I kept it and placed it in a final mounting position. The testing went great so now I am looking for a permeant mounting spot. The outside sensor unit required 3 AA batteries, and I highly recommend getting chargeable ones, so you don’t have to replace them, (Just a little tip the manual doesn’t state) I highly recommend calibrating the water collection portion right away so it will give accurate readings. Very simple to do. Also, when installing make sure to position the rear end of the sensor unit facing south to get accurate wind readings as well. The LCD unit also requires batteries, or you can plug it in. I have had the unit as far as 30 feet + away from the outdoor sensor kit and it has been working flawlessly for me, even though a brick wall. The lcd screen can be table or wall mounted. My 2 biggest features for me are the wind speed and directions as I use this information when I am out flying my drones and I can have a real time wind readings which are amazing for me. The rain collector feature is nice because I can gauge how much or little, I have to water my lawn/garden. I like also how I get more real weather readings than my news because I have the sensor in my back yard. Helps me in the morning if I need a jacket or not. Overall, I am really satisfied with this purchase, if you have a need for this, this is honestly a great, easy to use weather station.

I had a different brand and the rain gauge kept going bad. So far this unit is working great. Now, it is only a few months old but set up good and keeps all data correctly. I will see in a year or two if I will stick with this brand. I do use mine for hunting and fishing as well.

It is important to set it up a good distance from nearby obstructions to get good readings, especially on wind speed and direction.
Make sure that you understand the difference between Day-Month and Month-Day on setting up the console to get the correct week day and moon phase.

Readers should know I had an Ambient WS 2000 weather station that had a bad display. This unit was recommended and while it doesn’t have all the same features it’s a great little weather station. I had to calibrate the outdoor temp but otherwise seems pretty good. Only issue is no App. Worth the money.

The company rep was totally unhelpful, and it took me four calls to get a hold of someone as they weren’t returning calls as mentioned on their voicemail.
