the First thing I’ll mention is the battery. I don’t mind charging my watch every night. it’s become part of my routine. if that sounds horrible to you? might I suggest a Garmin? theyll last for days, months even. but there is a s cost in the limited functionality.

so for me the biggest CON, the battery, isn’t that much of an issue. the 2nd CON? Spotify keeps unshuffling my playlists! it takes me an additional 2.5 seconds to go back a screen and scroll down to push the shuffle button, so you can see how serious this problem is… I kid. the 3rd CON was the lack of faces… but recently the Galaxy 7 upgraded to OS6 so now we get all the new faces.

What are the PROs? oh man, so many. Health tracking is a big one. I’ve been utilizing many parts of the watch and maximizing the sensors on the back. it has helped me get in shape in ways I didn’t even consider (I used to be a hypochondriac..recovering, I guess. but having an EKG has been great. turns out my heart isn’t a POS after all). Reminders on my watch are incredible, being able to check messages and ignore calls without touching my phone is amazing. I’ve only scratched the surface on the fun store of apps, but having a golf gps on my wrist was so much fun, being able to chat with AI and to make plans, set schedules, and getting inspired, all by taking to my watch? it’s incredible.

as for the style? by far my favorite Samsung. I hate the square watches, and I don’t really like bezels. I like clean minimalist by not the smooth curve of the 8s. so if your oddly specific in taste like me? get this guy

I’ve had several Galaxy Watches and have been pretty satisfied with the features. Compared to my last Galaxy watch, the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, I’m slightly disappointed with the Watch 7 as I cannot use the Samsung Health Monitor app. This app is important to me as I had it calibrated to a BP Monitor. Anyway, aside from this little grouse, I’m satisfied with its performance and features.

My Galaxy (4) watch was ready for an upgrade!

I always do my research and read the reviews before I buy a product. This purchase was no different. I was somewhat concerned with a number of reviewers complaining that the battery was not good and didn’t last long. So, I want to address that concern first.

With all of my watches I never use the Always on Display function. I realize that the watch faces are beautiful on the Galaxy Screen. However, those beautiful bright LED’s use power. If you leave them on all the time you can expect maximum battery drain. I have everything turned on except the AOD. Yesterday I used my watch a lot as I was playing and experimenting with all the cool features. Wore it through the night to monitor my sleep. This morning at 6 a.m. I had used a total of 27 percent of battery power for a 24 hour period! At this rate of power usage I can expect 3+ days of use. Battery life doesn’t concern me at all.

    SETUP (Stars*****)
I was expecting to make a trip to my service provider because I use the LTE version. I figured I could do all the setup minus the phone provider portion at home. I was extremely impressed with the setup/switch procedure. Simple, straight forward and quick!
I was pleased at how simple and easy the setup was. As soon as I was done I needed to let my dogs out for a walk. While I was out walking the girls my Watch rang! I answered it and had a nice conversation. The switch feature swapped over and set up all of my LTE functions without the need to spend half a day at my phone providers location!

DIGITAL RING VERSUS PHYSICAL (Stars *****)
I never really liked the physical ring all that much. The new digital ring is awesome! Good job Samsung!

    CHARGING (Stars *****)
Charges extremely fast with the little charger that comes with the watch. This small charger is great for travel. I ordered a couple more.

    FITNESS (Stars *****)
I’m still using them and can only say that so far they are still the award winning excersize App/sensors they have always been.

    AI (Stars *****)
Wow! This opens up a whole new experience with my watch. I use Alexa to do so many things now. The ability to put Alexa on my watch is a real game changer. Don’t worry, if you prefer Google assistant you can use that as well.

    ASTHETICS (Stars *****)
I think Samsung could have done a better job with the advertisement pics out there. I was initially disappointed at how the Galaxy 7 looked. When I actually got the watch I happily realized the pics don’t do it justice. I think that this is the most aesthetically pleasing watch Samsung has made to date.

    THE BAND (Stars ***)
Nope. I knew I didn’t like the watch band it comes with from the pics. If you want an extra you can have mine. I ordered a watch band from Wingle to match the silver of the watch. Wow! They are a perfect match and look gorgeous!

I couldn’t be happier! What a great Smartwatch. When you pair this watch with the Samsung family of devices it is in a class of it’s own!
    OVERALL: Five Stars!
    RECOMMEND?: Absolutely YES!

I was used to the regular watch when my son got this for me for my birthday. Coincided with my getting a new phone (Galaxy S25). After going through the learning curve I really like the watch. After figuring out how to change the watch face and getting one that I like and that provides the information at a glance that I want, the watch and I became friends. Learning how to do the different things like what apps to use and what to remove was also a learning point. There are lots of resources on how to do anything with the watch. I did replace the watchband with one of my own choosing. I don’t care for the silicon buckle one that came with it.

It was very simple to connect to the phone.

What I do like is being able to answer calls from my watch and to place calls as well.

The apps are pretty handy as well, especially if you are into fitness and the information is stored on your phone.

Yes, you get notifications on your watch same as your phone.

It is fully compatible with my S25 and all the apps that came with it and a few more I added.

The touch screen is sometimes finicky but mostly is okay. Works well for all my needs.

The watch seems pretty durable so far. I have frequent falls and bumps and the watch has held up to all them without any damage.

So far, pretty with the watch. No complaints.

Fantastic watch, lasts about 2 days of a full charge with every feature enabled which is amazing all things considered. A great fit, and a very sleek look, if you are interested in a very long battery life, enable just the watch mode, only shows the time but it lasts for about 18 days. Functions incredibly well, smooth and scratch resistance display, gets brighter than youd ever need, charges with specific magnetic charger, comes in the box. You do need a USB C brick as the opposite end of the charger is usb c. Sleep tracking, energy tracking, its fantastic. Definitely worth it!

Great smart watch. Comfortable, accurate and good looking. Only downside I can find is the battery life. It will last 48 hours if worn constantly, guess I wish it lasted a bit longer, but that’s me being a bit nitpicky.

I’m very happy with the purchase, as it’s a visually striking device that delivers on its promises in terms of functionality. However, there are some important details regarding battery life that every buyer should consider.

    What I liked most:
Design and Aesthetics: It’s a very beautiful and elegant watch.

Versatility: With interchangeable straps (sold separately), it’s extremely easy to match it with any type of outfit, from sporty to more formal.

Functions: It’s a very complete device in terms of tools and performance.

    Points to consider (Battery):
The aspect I like least is the battery life. If you use constant health monitoring throughout the day, the charge lasts practically a full day.

Comparison: Compared to models like the Huawei Watch GT2 (which has been on the market for a few years), the Samsung falls behind in battery life. Even with full monitoring settings, the Huawei still offers longer battery life. Setup: Battery life depends heavily on your settings, but generally, it requires daily charging if you use all its tracking features.

    Verdict:
If you’re looking for a smartwatch with excellent design, integration, and versatility, this is a great option. Just be prepared to charge it every night if you plan on using the health monitoring features extensively.

I have owned a watch 3 since it was released approximately 5 years ago so I’m extremely familiar with every micrometer of that watch. I never babied it. I went everywhere and did everything with it. The only reason it wasn’t on my wrist on extremely rare occasions was when I ran out of the house and accidentally forgot to retrieve it from the charger. I thought the end was near when a plastic ring came out of the bezel… but it still had a couple of years left in it. For my birthday, my wife and I went to the coast. I went swimming at the hotel and then jumped into the hot tub. Apparently that was one activity too far for the watch which has been through miles and miles of swimming with me. It stopped responding to my input. I said to my wife… I know what I want for my birthday 🎂… a new smartwatch! I relate this story because I have been a Galaxy Smartwatch owner since version 1. I am totally satisfied with the the product. I started reading about the version 7 watch and was very concerned about the battery life. The version 3 was advertised as needing a charge every 2 days but it required charging every day. When I did exercise mode it sometimes drained the battery before the end of the day after 100% charge in the morning. Battery drain also happened regularly if the watch lost communication with the phone [a Samsung product]. So, when I saw that the Watch 7 required charging every day, I was alarmed given the track history of the Watch 3. I’m an alpine first responder and need the always on display when I am on duty as a ski patroller to be able to take vital signs. I had trouble doing that with Version 3. I love the feature in Version 7 because it actually stays on instead of having to touch the screen like I did in Version 3. Certainly, the battery will drain quicker with the screen on so I’m happy that I can turn the screen on mode off because most of the time, I don’t need it on. Without the screen on the battery will go 3 days. I’ve done a couple of exercise routines and I still get 3 days estimated battery life. Needless to say, I am extremely encouraged about this watch now. The features are amazing. The only sticking point going into the purchase was the battery life and that concern has completely evaporated. I had purchased a watch face MD 85 for the Version 3 watch that wasn’t transferable to the new watch so I purchased the MD 301 [under two bucks]. The watch face is much larger and there are a lot more customizable features on the new watch face and it is exactly what I’m used to looking at so there is no learning curve except how to use the new features. My initial impression of the watch is that I thrilled to own it and am looking forward to to using it… every day.

This is my first Samsung watch and I really like it! The first thing I noticed is how thin the watch is, it is thinner than any other smart watch that I have had and feels very comfortable. I kind of like the look of the Watch 7 vs. the Watch 8 and I was able to snag it at a very good price, so that made me very happy! The processor is snappy, the size and quality of the screen is awesome, it has some great gesture options that I use all the time, I can use Google Gemini with just my voice, the watch works great with my google apps, has a ton of sensors, and does everything I was hoping for in a watch. I also feel like Samsung will be supporting it for quite a while. I don’t really use the health monitoring, so I can’t speak to that. The battery life is fine for me, I could go two days without charging but I usually top it off daily. The one negative I will say is the lock screen. I use Google Pay and so I have to have a screen lock. Quite often the screen will lock back up and I may have to unlock it a couple of more times before it finally stays unlocked. I have seen that others have this problem and I haven’t seen any good fixes for that, so it’s a little disappointing that they haven’t fixed that. But, I like the watch so much that I’m not even holding that against it! It’s really not a major deal. Overall, this watch has a great system and functions well.

I have purchased two of these now to go with galaxy s22 phones. Pros: super easy to use, connect via bluetooth, adjust settings and use. Have worn it at the Waterpark, in the ocean and had no issues. The sleep tracker and heart monitor are helpful and have helped with data to share with my doctor. It also charges pretty quickly.
The only negatives I have is battery life..the most it will last is two days. Another negative for me was the watch band on mine was hard to take off. Overall I really like the watch, it helps me stay off my phone more as I can tell if it is a message or notification from my watch and decide if I really need to reply.

Other half loves this watch. Customized the face to look like fallout game too so it looks more fun to use lol I kind of want one now. He uses it for sleep tracking and fitness tracking. It’s scratch resistant but we added a clear layer on it too. Notifications are quick and accurate. The fit is good and there are alternate wrist band options so he can switch them out whenever he wants. Overall very functional and worth it.

Great smart watch. Comfortable, accurate and good looking. Only downside I can find is the battery life. It will last 48 hours if worn constantly, guess I wish it lasted a bit longer, but that’s me being a bit nitpicky.
