This is an incredibly cool fidget device. Its sleek aesthetic and metallic color make it a great addition to any desk, especially for tech professionals. It’s relatively innocuous and doesn’t have any distracting graphics. The metal feels high-quality and it has a good weight. The magnet strength is adequate, and the noise level is just right. You can control the noise by adjusting how hard you flick it up and down.
I bought it on sale and am happy with the price, especially since I saw a similar one for much more in a story recently. My only complaint is that there’s a bit of a learning curve. You can see in the video after my first few attempts that I didn’t realize the device disconnected so easily. I ended up having to reconstruct it, which isn’t difficult, but it’s annoying to pick up the three pieces when you’re walking down the street.
Overall, this is a great device, and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a sleek-looking fidget device. However, I hope it has some longevity and that the issue with the pieces coming apart doesn’t become a regular problem.

Good durability, with strong magnets, and easy to use. Does click audibly if you’re not careful, so not the best if folks need a quiet fidget, but still an excellent option for folks who want a fidget that’s less child-oriented than many available.

Rather loud for a fidget, I was asked to leave it home when I brought it to my office as apparently it was a distraction to others.

This product is worth the money. It is light, easy to use, and highly addictive. The magnets will slide back and forth as you fidget with them and, if you desire, you can push them harder to pull the magnets apart. The only reason this receives four stars is that it is loud. My coworkers in the offices adjacent to mine always know when I am doing deep work!

Literally love this thing. I’ve bought lots of fidgets before and most of them are entertaining for a few minutes and then I move on. But this one… I swear I have clicked it open and closed at least 500 times and I bought it like a week ago. Love this thing. The tactile, the sound, it’s just so pleasant!!

I really enjoy this little slider. It only moves up and down, but it makes very delightful clicking sounds. Click clack, click clack. I love it. It would be a good way to annoy the in-laws if they overstay their welcome. For the price you can’t go wrong. Especially if you like clicky fidget toys. Highly recommended.

This fidget is my favorite! The perfect size for your hand and durable. It goes together in 3 pieces, if you drop it, it easily goes back together in 3 seconds. When you 1st get it, make sure to add the black tape to it, it makes it glide perfectly. It has a very stong magnetic and a great price. This fidget is not silent, it makes a clicking sound as it slides. I work with High School students and they all love it and want to use it. Its perfect for any age. I have had mine for at least 6 months.

It lasted about 1 year of heavy use. The magnets start to fall out so not great for kiddos as you can easily swallow them. The sound is satisfying but a bit loud so you can’t do it in crowded areas. I lined the movement g and the texture. It was the perfect ridge for touch.

This fidget device is perfect weight and portable it can be difficult to use quietly. It CAN be “loud” if you slide it quickly but if used slowly it can be almost completely silent if you use the Teflon pads. I have several fidget sliders. If I could I would make 2 changes to this one. First I would like it if they made it possible for this to be even more silent. To accomplish that some form of removeable removable rubber ring that would slide over the metal posts under the bottom of the outside pieces(or possibly rubber bumpers on both extremes all the way open/closed). The easiest in my mind is some type of tiny rubber band or gasket on the post. Secondly something no fidget slider I can find exhibits which is a crosshatched outer surface, which would make it easier on your fingers. The rounded side of this exact slider isn’t too bad but the other side has “straight lines” which can become uncomfortable. I would love to see one that has both sides with a consistency similar to crosshatching on most ratchet wrench handles, even cheap ratchets have this texture so it shouldn’t be expensive, it might need to be less intense than on a ratchet to be comfortable. Alternately if crosshatching isn’t possible some other minimalized think slightly sand paper like surface worked into the metal, NOT a sticker which would just peel off it needs to be worked into the metal. This fidget toy could be a little better however this fidget toy my favorite so far. Just to be clear my biggest “request” of this or some other manufacturer is one of these with the last feature I mention above. i.e. Some texture that is semi-rough while remaining comfortable in your hand & on your fingers. That would make this worthy of 5 stars

One of the magnets came loose just a few minutes out of the package. Also noticed there was a bur on one of the other magnet recesses that was scraping against the opposing surface. Didn’t expect a lot for $10, but I at least expected it to last more than 5 minutes.
