So far, this is a much needed, easy to use, very functional, electronic tape measure, The price was not unreasonable and the love how the numbers are readble. No squinting. Just what I have been looking for for my projects.

Easy to use accurate measurements with a quality product. Great value light weight did i mention accurate. Oh and it is light and compact for a tape measure. The lock is nice and allows for a smooth retraction.

Gives a spot on measurement. I find it works better than my regular measuring tape. Love this purchase.

Love this thing I need to get 2 more cause I keep miss placing it. The lock works well, great size, cheaper would be nice. Dropped it a few times over the time I have owned it and still works well.

Selected this measure even though it is an import from the USA. This is because the face of the tape has both metric and imperial markings with the coding markers being underneath. The display is clear and of a good size. The construction seems solid. This will be used for DIY projects so I can’t comment as to use in a commercial environment.

First of all I really like this tape measure. Not my place to second guess my brothers, but some of the reviews might have been a little skewed by user error. Yes, it does cm. If you are off by a couple of inches you probably have the reference switched to the back of the tape measure 🙂 The “couple of inches” is the distance from the front to the back. Read the tiny manual sheet that came with it please. I am a just grab it up and go guy, and I went back and read the manual (it’s just a small sheet). Only accurate to a sixteenth of an inch. Never checked that. I’m old AF and can’t see the 32nds clicks anyway :). A sixteenth is good for government work and rough carpentry. That’s maybe about the width of a normal saw kerf??? I really like the midpoint thing, sometimes my head does not want to compute half of sixteen inches and 9/16ths. I’m old. What I don’t like about it is … it’s heavy for the short distance you get and the cotton picking battery rattles in it. Don’t know how long the battery lasts, but who is going on a job without a real tape measure in the tool box anyway. After a few beers its going to be more accurately reliable that most of us. Not that I have ever had a few beers on a job. Nope, never. Not me. I’m retired, so can’t really put it through its paces on the job, but I like it and can recommend you blow a few bucks to show your co workers what a geek you are.

It works well but there are are a few items that need improvement or changes. First the clip used to pull out the tape is too small. It is difficult to pull it out because the flange doesn’t go below the bottom of the case, especially it you are wearing gloves.
Second, the use of metrics is awkward for USA use. Since the tape has inches on one side and metrics on the other side, you can only accurately see the measurement on one edge requiring tuning the unit upside down to see the correct measurement whether
Third. I was hoping to see larger markings on the tape which is also affected by having both metrics and inches on the same 3/4” tape.
Finally, since USB C seems to be the standard for electronic charging, it would be helpful to change the Micro USB connection to USB C.
I also fined the menu a bit comber some. You have to push the units button up to 5 times to get to the unit measurement yo want on the digital screen. Plus, I often have go back to the very brief manual to remember how to find how to store and/or recall measurements.
