I have a pair of Boom 2’s, several years old, that I’ve been using in the shower and also for travel. After about 8 years, the batteries are getting old, and the speakers are also a little bit heavy for travel. After reading the review on Rtings.com, and seeing the great Black Friday pricing, I’ve ordered a pair of these.

I’m happy to report they sound essentially equivalent to the Boom 2. If there’s less bass, it’s mostly imperceptible. The battery life is better even than the brand-new Boom 2. They’re smaller and lighter to carry, they pair more easily, they can be put in stereo mode without using an app, and they’re plenty loud enough for the shower, a hotel room, or for background music when the family gathers at an AirBnB.

The overall sound quality is very good. No deep bass, of course, but enough so the music sounds balanced, and male voices on podcasts sound natural. Highs are extended enough for natural-sounding cymbals and strings, and the sound is clean and not distorted if the speakers aren’t pushed.

And exceptional travel speaker, even if you need two (and nothing beats stereo when you can separate the speakers properly).

The Ultimate Ears Wonderboom 4 is a compact bluetooth speaker you can fit in the palm of your hand, but don’t let its size fool you — this thing pumps out loud, clear 360° sound with satisfyingly thumpy bass and greats mids and highs. It’s sturdy, waterproof, has a forgivingly long wireless range, and it even floats in water, making it perfect for any situation from camping trips to pool parties, or just casual listening. I like that Ultimate Ears chose a simplistic look with bold colors for these speakers, and the silicone base helps ensure that they stay put. My only gripe is that the Outdoor and Podcast EQs kind of sacrifice some clarity to push the volume in their respective directions, but the standard EQ is so rich and the speaker is so outspoken that either problem these modes attempt to solve are really non-issues, and the fact you can pair up two of these speakers for full two-channel stereo is a big plus. In addition, the regular sound signature is so clear that you can crank the volume with no noticeable distortion. I also wish you could skip back a track with the onboard controls, but doing it on your device isn’t that much of a hassle. For this price range and size, I’d say the Wonderboom 4 should be your first choice for a portable bluetooth speaker.

2nd Wonderboom, brilliant sound a last for most of day.

For the price I paid I am very pleased with the wonderboom. It is easy to connect and very intuitive to use. It seems sturdy and holds a charge well. The fact that it’s water and drop proof makes it great for our purposes (camping, kids, pool parties). The sound quality is good and assuming it doesn’t go to put it on me I will be recommending it to others.

Works great, the sound quality is fantastic! projects exceptionally well. Has a podccast setting. The standard setting is a little heavy on the base, but I missplaced the manuel so I don’t know if It can be adjusted. It turns off when not in use, its the perfect size, really like that you can hang it up. Cennnectivity is easy, stays connected all the time you don’t have to keep connecting every time it turns off like cheaper speakers. The battery lasts for days, it works while charging that a bonus and they have color options. Its very well designed and made. Good value for the money, you get what you pay for this speaker is definatly worth the price, its a high quality product. You will not be dissappointed.

Bought my first Wonderboom 4 a week earlier – I was shocked such a small speaker could produce such levels of volume incl deep bass – Hats off to Logitech :0 The waterproof aspect pushed me over the edge to buy one. Turns out It’s a great coffee table speaker – and packs an impressive sound footprint. The size makes it easy to place locally for any sitting-reclining situation – allows keeping the sound levels lower so that you impact others less – and yet get great bass performance. Alternately you could crank it up and be amazed or take it outside and adjust one of the 3 EQ settings to “Outdoor LOUD mode”. Although default mode is better for bass. After a week of owning one I “had” to order another to get the full stereo support. It was totally worth it, and would recommend these speakers to anyone looking for a super big sound in a tiny package.

Great portable speaker ! So far, it has surpassed all the other ones I’ve tried. Very good sound with good bass for it’s compact size. It’s also waterproof and falls proof, and it floats, which is great. It seems very well made and it looks good too! Definitely my favorite speaker, I would recommend and I liked it so much I bought a second one to pair with the first one I bought. You want a solid speaker with great sound, that you can bring anywhere with you, this is it! FYI it’s been a year that I bought the first one and I use it regularly (in the shower, the car, doing the dishes…) and it still looks brand new and performs as well as day 1!

I’ve been a die-hard fan of JBL and Sony speakers for ages, but the WONDERBOOM 4 totally blew me away! The sound quality is crystal clear – I mean, you can hear every single little and small beat! It’s crazy how this tiny speaker packs such a punch, it’s extremely loud and the battery life is on point. Super impressed and happy with my purchase! If you’re looking for a budget-friendly outdoor Bluetooth speaker, look no further. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

Good and handy . To enjoy sound or hear vocal sound in small group or for hearing music during study or travel . Can be hidden well with its small size.

Oh em’ Gee surround sound little boogers! Awesome sound either way great clarity and base. Glad it waterproofed and able to use outside while gardening or bbqing! Connections easily via usb from my phone.

It’s easy to pack around and has pretty good sound for such a little guy.
Primary uses are music and audiobooks and the sound quality good enough that I’m satisfied. It’s not Bose, but it sure ain’t bad.

I use it in the shop, out by the pool and when I’m gardening. Outdoors the sound travels a bit better if there is a wall or something solid behind the speaker.
The loop makes it easy to carry or hang up and the 360⁰ sound means less fussing around with location and direction.

Connected to my Android, playing on Spotify, I can crank it all the way up with no distortion or crackling.
But, I only did that this one time, so I could note it in the review. It’s pretty freaking loud.

It’s solid with a rubber cap on both the top and bottom. In case of a drop, those could be lifesavers. I’ve never tossed it in the water, so cannot attest to it’s water resistance.

It connects quickly and easily to any Bluetooth device and the buttons on top provide easy access to pairing, pause and power. It will power down if left unused for a few minutes to preserve the battery. That’s a nice function.
I’m not wild about the HUGE volume controls on the front. I think they’re ugly and detract greatly from the overall appearance of the speaker.

Overall, good value for the money.

Best investment ever. Loud and waterproof

I love this speaker! Small size makes it super portable without compromising sound quality. The added bass you get by pressing g the button at the bottom gives you great sound when watching movies. Very easy to use and set up! Lasts quite a while on a full charge! I already had one for my classroom and this is my second one for home. Definitely recommend. I bought a case for it afterwards for travelling.
