This scale is nice and compact, does not take up too much counter space and works pretty well, especially for its modest price. Make sure it is on a perfectly even surface as the feet are attached to the load cells . You may see variation in what is measured if not even or if weight is off-center. With 2 items of known weight (from a precision scale), it was within 1% over 5 measurements. Repeatability was very good when the item was > 4 oz. At the low range, < 1 oz, less so. I'd recommend weighing more than once to average. Or preload it with a small plate and use the Tare feature to zero. This will put the load cells in their sweet spot where repeatability is good. The only real knock is the read out can be easily obscured since it’s on the same plane as the surface. It can make you want to weigh larger things off-center which can effect the measurement. But a clear plate can make up for that. If they body were made a bit higher, the display could be angled down. Battery life seems very good. For the cost I’d say it was close to 5 stars, but taking a point for the display.

The instructions are not complicated to understand. The scale is the right size for me. It’s about the size of a tablet and the scale itself is lightweight. I like the multiple options available. You can choose which weight you need. For me, I am normally looking for the weight in ounces. I recommend this one because it’s also a decent price for what it is and it is battery operated.

Wiped it with a damp paper towel last night and today it is now 100% wrong. Maybe its my fault. Was good while it lasted. Also there’s no way to recalibrate it, instructions have no info on that nor does Amazon. Going to repurchase another brand and exclusively use a tray so i wont have to wipe anything down and see if that changes my luck with these cheap scales……. 1 week update: it now works properly again so i am upgrading my score back from 2 to 5 stars

Love it! Very reliable and easy to use, the display is great and not to big so you can tuck it away in the kitchen. Weight is very accurate.

The scale is not very sharp: sometimes, the display does not change after adding what should be 1 or 2g of flour, and adding half a spoon makes a jump of 2g. The buttons are just two thin plastic strips and seem fragile. Overall, the scale looks quite cheap.
