This product worked the very first time we put it on, but I wanted to give it some time to make absolutely certain that it wasn’t a fluke.

Buckley is a 10 year-old Australian Shepherd poodle with tons of energy, very puppy like, he’s absolutely a rascal and we have 12 acres for him to enjoy.

Consequently, in the last three years he is crept further and further away. We’re about 850 feet from the road, but I just wanted to make sure that he would not go all the way up there and get hit by a car

So the very first time I put this on, my husband watched at the window as Buckley got further and further from the house.

Frank called out his name a couple of times and as he had been doing, he ignored us and did not come back—He hit the “beep” button one time. He jumped up almost as if he was slightly startled, and immediately headed straight back to the house.

And it’s worked every time since then, without fail. We have not had to shock him once.

We did have to use the vibrate button, probably two or three times total in three weeks —- what it has done is it’s trained him to come back to the house!!!

we don’t have to yell and scream for him for 10 or 15 minutes knowing he’s truly only about 100 feet away in the woods and we can’t see him

It works for two reasons also because when we hit the beep button, we can hear it beep so we know where he is, we know he’s not far and that gives us a little bit of comfort also

The way it has worked to rein him in is nothing short of miraculous. I’m not exactly sure why and his little dog brain this has corrected his behavior —but it absolutely has.

I wish I would’ve bought this thing like two years ago. It would’ve saved us a lot of headaches.

For the money, its awesome. Don’t waste your time just buy it. You don’t need to shock your dog to come to you again. THIS WORKS!

PS — we always had issues with Buckley trying to bite the tires on the quad when we go trail riding and this also corrected him— the second he goes to bite the tire. I hit the beep button and he immediately backs off.

This collar/controller set is modifiable to your needs— has the ability to make the beeping or vibrating or shock higher powered or lesser powered with a dial (we never even really mess with that).

We keep the beep low enough to hear it and that does the job to startle Buckley back into reality to come home.
