I chose this for a friend who’s a big fan of the call of duty video game series and I wasn’t disappointed when it arrived.
The decanter does look like a common hand grenade and appears exactly as it does in the photographs. The two small glasses and the decanter themselves are actually fairly thin glass and not a heavier Crystal. I’m sure that’s fine due to these being novelties that probably won’t see much actual use. They’re supposed to sit in your house and look cool and that’s exactly what they do.
These items match the listing and are exactly as they appeared in the photographs. If you know somebody that likes this type of thing this would make it terrific gift. They seem a little expensive and not a great bargain for the price and I would recommend picking them up on sale.
On a personal note, I don’t care for appearance of them and I much prefer classic crystal decanters. But, if the person you’re buying this for enjoys this type this is easily one for me to recommend.

Fun gift for my vet cousin this Christmas. The set is fairly well modeled, but the smaller grenades- the shot glasses are a little odd and could’ve been made more to the form of an actual grenade. The decanter on the other hand has a real nice look, but the handle does make me a little nervous it may be too fragile.
Nice, but not perfect.

Shotglasses – Adorable, nice feel/grip to them, not overly fragile (yet still made of glass), sit flat, don’t wobble/tip easily (but indeed easier than a standard thick-bottom 1 oz shotglass). Full to the brim: ~1/3 cup: 2.5 oz: 70 mL. I like it better for sipping at than straight-shooting, what with the increased capacity: but to each their own boozing preference. Easily rinsed, wiped-out with a finger.
Decanter– Bottom: narrow, more likely to knock/tip over than other decanters/bottles. Capacity: less than a quart. Handle: thin, like disconcertingly so (at first), feels like what’s most likely to fail about this design; but has no trouble holding the weight of the full decanter. Pour: glug, glug what with the tiny/narrow spout. Stopper: rounded glass top, securely clicks into place, no drip.
Took a fair amount of effort to initial clean-out: no bottle brush could possibly work with this (worth a damn). A few drops of soap, add water, plug the top, shake, shake, pour, add more water, repeat… Took a good five minutes to get every-last bubble of the soap out. [Good thing booze is self-sterilizing.]
Included Funnel– Wrong tool for this job: too narrow the spout, to short the funnel: will spill-over while filling. This funnel is meant for flasks not decanters. Recommend you use something wider, deeper. I had a larger silicone collapsing funnel that fit/worked perfectly for filling [with iced tea, ran out of booze awhile back, probably for the best].
This decanter is distinctive, for sure to catch attention. Could tip over on a mobile drink-cart, certainly not for boats or vehicles: best placed on a firm, flat surface where unlikely to be bumped into… would be a shame to see it explode upon impact.
Overall– Four Stars: the handle could be thicker, the spout should be wider for neater pours.

I have to laugh a little bit at myself with this one. I honestly didn’t catch the “grenade” theme at first glance; I just ordered it because I thought the geometric design was unique and very attractive for my home bar. It wasn’t until my husband saw it and asked, “Did you get that for Tommy?” that it clicked. My son is an Army veteran who has done several tours, so my husband assumed it was a gift for him. Now that he pointed it out, I can’t un-see the grenade shape! I was planning to keep it for myself because I really do love the aesthetic, but it is just too perfect for my son, so I’ve decided to gift it to him instead. As for the quality, the glass is clear and looks great, though the shot glasses do feel a little thin. The decanter itself isn’t as heavy or thick as the crystal I got for my wedding 20 years ago, but it holds a full bottle and displays beautifully. Whether you are buying it for a service member or just someone who appreciates cool decor (like me), it’s a great conversation piece.

Looks very cool side by side. Made of good quality glass and the glass has a nice thickness to it that keeps it from easily breaking. It is a great size and really good value for the money. Looks great on the shelf and men love it’s look.

This had the potential to be cool… but unfortunately the manufacturer of this felt the need to skimp on the packaging on the “spoon” (for those who dont know grenades, the handle on this). This is by far the most flimsy part of the whole kit, and it was pushed against the side of the box with no padding between the vase and the spoon.
That part came shattered, and there wasnt a single sign on the box of any damages. Worse yet, the box wasnt sealed very well and I had tiny little shards of glass scattered all over my table that would have given me splinters if I didnt have a vacuum to clean it up.
I would never order this as a gift. Its clear the manufacturer doesnt care about the product and it shows in the lack of protection from a clearly fragile product. It doesnt even look very good. It looks super cheap, felt cheap on the parts that were not broken.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this.
