I bought the 75″ model for our basement bedroom. I’m really sensitive to color banding and I was worried that this larger budget-friendly TV might have pixelation or banding issues, but I am not seeing either! Another concern was black level, since the basement is always dark, and while it’s not as good as our LG OLED the blacks were not an issue for me at all!
I also saw negative comments about the unresponsiveness of the menus. It’s definitely a bit slower than our old TV with a Fire Stick, but it wasn’t slow enough to frustrate me. I spent a lot of time last night playing around with picture settings and for some reason the menu button is one of the slowest features. I didn’t time it but it took maybe 3 or 4 seconds to appear. I quickly got used to that.
The only small issue I saw was that 4K 60FPS YouTube videos would sometimes “hitch”. This would happen in the first seconds or so, but then it would be fine. Though I did find one video that hitched slightly when transitioning from one scene to the next. (Could have been the video, or my WiFi.)
Overall, I’m quite happy with my new TV. It’s actually better than I was expecting!

For various reasons we waited many years to purchase a large screen smart TV for our living room. We got a great deal on this one, and were excited to have it come into our home and get installed. Our handyman got it set up for us on an adjustable bracket, and we were off to the races. Well, almost. It turns out that it’s mounted about 4 inches too high, so that it’s difficult to adjust it without having to get a stepladder. That can be fixed the next time we get help for that.
The remote control is fine for the basic TV functions. It turns out that Hisense / Amazon Fire TV do not have a native agreement with our cable TV provider to be able to use their app so that we don’t need a control box. The work-around to get that going was much more of a drama than I could have imagined. Smart TV / Internet access? Should be able to connect readily, right? Not that simple. I had to get a Roku stick to plug in and it’s not as straight-forward as it ought to be, either. I’m still learning how to access the local channels.
Quality-wise, we’re mostly happy with it. That being said, when you’re sitting in the sweet spot in front of the set the colors are bright and vibrant. If you’re off to the side the colors aren’t as clear and sharp as one would hope. We can slightly swivel the screen with the bracket we have to correct that, but I wouldn’t thank that the vibrancy would drop off that much at the outer edges of the screen.
If it had been plug and play from the outset, I would give it five stars. We are thinking of getting a sound bar for deeper, richer fidelity. Overall, for the price and general features, we are mostly pleased with this purchase.

I researched TVs and have found this TV to live up to the high ratings. The sound is great, so no need for added speakers. If you want true theater sound, you can add a sound bar, which is very simple and straightforward to connect. The picture is crisp and clear. Very little glare even on a sunny day. Since this TV exceeded my expectations, I also bought another Hisense 65′ TV for another room

I absolutely love my TV. It has a microphone on the remote and all I do is tell it what I wanna watch and it takes me right there. I’M AN OLDER PERSON AND WE HAVE SEVERAL DIFFERENT WAYS TO WATCH TV. WE HAVE DISH NETWORK , AND PRIME VIDEO, AND NETFLIX, AND PEACOCK, AND ROKU, SO BETWEEN ALL OF THEM, I GET CONFUSED ON HOW TO USE ALL OF THEM. THOUGH NOW I HAVE THIS TV I DON’T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT IT. ALL I DO IS TAKE THE REMOTE AND TELL IT THAT I WANT TO WATCH SOMETHING ON WHICH NETWORK AND IT TAKES ME RIGHT THERE AND I’LL WATCH WHATEVER I WANT ,THIS TV IS THE ANSWER TO ALL MY PROBLEMS, I JUST WISH I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN THAT MANY MANY YEARS AGO. THE COLLAR IS EXCELLENT ON IT. THE SOUND IS WONDERFUL. I CAN HEAR IT VERY WELL. I DON’T HAVE TO HAVE IT ALL THE WAY UP BECAUSE IT’S SO GREAT. I JUST ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS TV. I IF YOU’RE OLDER LIKE ME I HAVE TO TELL YOU TO GET IT EVEN IF YOU’RE YOUNGER GET THIS TV IT’S ABSOLUTELY THE BEST. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TV AND A GREAT PRICE AT THAT.

Excellent value. So far it works perfectly offering a great picture. Did have some difficulty setting it up as it froze loading Amazon at one point (this is a Fire TV) and turning it on and off didn’t do the trick. Contacted Hisense and Chat person said Tech person would call but by the time that happened, I’d unplugged it and plugged it back and that worked. So glad I was able to reach someone easily so Hisense gets credit for that. No idea what actual problem was turned out to be an easy fix and enjoyed watching TV on it all weekend.

Wow at this TV. You would think that a TV at this price point would not be very good but this TV is excellent. I have the fire TV version. I plugged it in and it asked me if I wanted my settings from my previous TV and setup was done in 5 minutes. There are plenty of pictures adjustments so you can get this just where you want it (please note that a video must be playing for you to get to those settings and there is a dedicated button on the remote). Picture is very nice and clear. I’m quite surprised at the sound it is very good for this TV. I like the 43 in for the bedrooms. This comes with a bracket on the back if you want to hang it on the wall also. The two bottom brackets are super easy to install just grab a magnetic screwdriver and screw the screws in and you’re done. The TV that I received came with the Amazon fire remote which is my only issue with this I was hoping for a real remote control. It does have a few dedicated buttons on that remote. But if you are looking for a good TV at a great price I highly recommend this TV. I did a lot of reading on TVs and this TV gets very good reviews on the tech sites. It is very lightweight also so even an elderly person could move this around. It has bezel edges so the size is almost true you’re looking at a 42-in screen. Overall I’m quite pleased with this TV it’s really nice.

For this review I will skip the Pros and Cons and just get to the point. Nice TV for the price at the time and the size. I knew prior to ordering TVs using FireTV OS typically aren’t that good compared to Roku or Google TV OSs. This one is no different, as you can read other reviews around this. With this said, I initially had this TV for just showing HDMI output, no Wifi connectivity. This worked just fine, the TV stayed on most of the time unless intentionally turned off, and the TV turned on to navigate to HDMI within like 10 – 15 seconds. But once I changed that so that I can use Airplay straight to the TV, therefore, I had to connectivity to Wifi, the load time from power on is now like 60 – 90 seconds. Also, in both setups, the menu navigation is also sluggish. But again I bought the TV knowing this so I cannot give it less than 4 out of 5. Also, Airplay works just fine once connected, and I don’t notice any performance degradation. But I don’t see why they cannot optimize the performance on FireTVs… But I guess its for affordability. Outside of the performance, the other minor issue was the frame on the TV I have has a small gap between the screen and the front frame towards the bottom of TV. Not visible unless you standing above the TV, but its a thing. I did not see any dead pixels so thats good. And as for the goods, well, the screen is nice, as I said no dead pixels on mine. Physically the TV is good, stand is solid enough. For what I use it for and what I got out of it so far, its a 4 out of 5.

First, let me say I have had a 47″ LG LED 1080p TV for over 15 years. I also have a 55 inch TCL Roku 4k TV, that I’ve had for about 6 years. I bought this set to replace my LG that has been my “daily driver” in the living room for a long time. I have it hooked up to a ROKU 4k Stick and an antenna, and pretty decent Internet. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: -Easy set up out the box – Easy to connect with my Roku Stick. – Super clear picture in some situations when streaming Prime Video or Netflix. – I love that I can use either remote to control the TV (I usually use the Roku remote, but the TV remote is for local stations). – It looks sharp with the very thin bezel. – The Price was right for what I was looking for.
Cons: – I’m still playing with the picture settings to find the look I want. The picture seems kinda flat in some situations. – I definitely prefer the Roku interface to the Fire TV one. – I did not consider the size of the bezel on my old TV, so I should’ve gone bigger (nothing against Hisense). It looks smaller than my old LG. -I will need a sound bar for the TV, as the sound is ok but not great. I am old school, and I can’t connect this to my receiver and surround setup (also over 15 years old) since there is not an AV output.
Overall, the TV is still growing on me. I see the difference in qled vs my TCL and LG, and it’s an upgrade even though something still seems off. It was a good purchase, and I’ll update this later as I use it more.

I’ve bought this TV to replace a 40″ Samsung 4K TV that I have been using as my computer monitor for years. The Samsung had several places with burn-in and was getting hard to use as a result.
This monitor is a clear improvement over the Samsung in many ways: – It’s a bit larger (43″ instead of 40″, which is welcome enlargement for my old eyes) – It supports 120Hz and HDR through HDMI 2.0, which works well with my 3 connected computers (a PC with an NVidia 2060, a recent HP laptop and a Mac Mini M4) – It provides a very clean display with text looking perfectly legible, even in small size. – It has nice color, with bright whites and dark blacks. – It is supposed to have low latency, although I don’t really care and I seldom play games.
On the negative side, I find the fireTV UI a bit slow and annoying. Switching inputs is not hard, but was clearly faster on my Samsung. There is a button that lets me switch from recent inputs and that works better than the normal way of switching through the UI, which requires several key presses. I don’t use any of the FireTV functionality, so i won’t comment on it. I have a FireTV cube on another TV and I don’t like the UI on it due to the ads and the Amazon-centric design.
Overall, I highly recommend this model to use as a computer monitor. I got it at a great price and it has better specs than the similar model that Costco sells (which only supports 60Hz refresh rate). For <$200 you can't get anything better in my opinion.

This is an excellent television for the price. Have had it for 3 days now. We can see a discernable difference in the picture quality between this set and the last one we had. Images are so clear and defined that it almost looks like we’re watching live action compared to other screens. It did take a bit of effort to set it up properly and connect to the apps we use. As I set it up it prompted me to set a new Amazon password, which I did, but then it wouldn’t give me access to Prime video. It prompted me to sign up for Prime (which I already have). After some research I found that the new password actually created a secondary account and the TV was logged into that secondary account. I reset everything and went back through setup again. I was prompted to again set up yet another new password for my Amazon account, so I did. This time, though, I entered actual usernames and passwords rather than using the QR code scanner and trying to do it the “easy way.” The second time around it all worked fine. I do think that there is some lag when switching between apps, but that does not bother us. The processing speed is fine. There are a variety of visual settings and sound settings. The sleep timer works great. The remote and the menus are easy to use. We are very pleased with this purchase.

Needed a 50″ TV for my outside patio and this fits the bill nicely. Great price for 4K QLED TV (like $260 for 50″). Excellent quality for watching sports or movies, YouTube, Hulu + liveTV, Max, Disney+, etc. Connects easily to my headphones with Bluetooth. The FIRE OS is simple to navigate and has all the Apps needed. Have this on a mobile TV stand and this TV screws in easily with the screws and spacers that come with stand. Its not my main TV for indoors which that is mini QLED but the screen quality on this is absolutely clear (better than my 2021 Samsung 4K), it connects to my wifi router indoors with no issues, it can take about 30 seconds-1min to initially load when first turning on after being outside (with TV cover + patio cover) all night but once running the lag time of switching Apps, navigation thru shows etc is no issue. Recommend as great quality for price point. Edit after 2 weeks: sometimes the TV can run into loading issues (like with Hulu), such as during an NFL game the screen will freeze while I still get sound. This is annoying obviously if you’re watching a big game. Its hard for me to know if its the TV or my WiFi connection as the issue, but its probably the WiFi as I don’t get this issue with my TVs indoors. I’m not removing a star for this reason as the screen picture quality is absolutely 5 stars. May have to look at a wifi extender as next step for outdoors.

I’m giving this 5 stars because the picture quality is amazing and the price was great. That being said I’ve had it less than a week and its crashed more than once. Twice its closed the app I’m watching and opened up other apps all on its own. Since its only a week in and its happened more than once, I’m assuming this will be a recurring annoyance. The set up was super easy and simple. Overall I’m pleased with it. I was very impressed with the picture quality for the price. If you dont mind some hiccups and are on a budget, would recommend.

Here are my pros and cons:
Pros:
-Easy set up out the box
– Easy to connect with my Roku Stick.
– Super clear picture in some situations when streaming Prime Video or Netflix.
– I love that I can use either remote to control the TV (I usually use the Roku remote, but the TV remote is for local stations).
– It looks sharp with the very thin bezel.
– The Price was right for what I was looking for.
Cons:
– I’m still playing with the picture settings to find the look I want.

This monitor is a clear improvement over the Samsung in many ways:
– It’s a bit larger (43″ instead of 40″, which is welcome enlargement for my old eyes)
– It supports 120Hz and HDR through HDMI 2.0, which works well with my 3 connected computers (a PC with an NVidia 2060, a recent HP laptop and a Mac Mini M4)
– It provides a very clean display with text looking perfectly legible, even in small size.
