I’ll admit to being skeptical that these tea balls would expand to look anything like the pictures, but color me amazed if they didn’t turn out to do pretty much exactly that. For the standing blooms, a tall vessel is necessary to get the full blooming effect. Other brands have fallen completely apart while blooming, but I found these to mostly stay together, so I didn’t need to cramp their style by steeping them in an infuser (fishing them out afterward with a slotted spoon was fine). I saved each one and after drying out they are still pretty enough to keep as decorations.

I have never boiled green tea before but I did so here per instructions and did not find it made the tea bitter; on the contrary, it was very mild, without any grassy taste. They all tasted about the same to me, actually. I did not notice a strong flowery aroma, either, which I consider a plus.

Drawbacks: nothing identifies the specific flower(s) in each packet, so those of us with little or no botanical knowledge don’t know what we’re drinking.

Overall I appreciate the novelty of this drink and the variety offered. They are definitely more suitable for brewing by the kettle rather than by individual cup.

Very easy to use just make sure they’re a little more than completely covered so they can open all the way! the flowers open up to be i’d say about a medium size and you get plenty in the box! They don’t include the names of the flowers so the flavors are up to you to discover but every one so far has been so good! I think this is a great price for this product!

Has a good taste and lasts for all 3 steeps as described. It is beautiful when steeping. I wish they had the ingredients listed or I could find them on line.
