I received the Bwine F7GIM Drone very quickly with next day shipping with no issues. The shipping packaging was good and the product packaging was of high quality.
The drone comes in a nice case with a handle. It provides room for two batteries, the drone (folded up), and the remote. It has a netted area in the lid for documentation, drone registration docs, a couple small cables, and spare props.
I like that Bwine was responsible and explained the process of registering the drone on the FAA website “DroneZone”. I have done this in the past, so it was simple for me to add this new drone, but I had to figure it on my own in the past. Please be sure to follow the rules and complete that step and learning drone piloting responsibilities.
Ease of Use: I found the drone to be very easy to use. Bwine was thoughtful in providing assistance in learning the drone with small things like a fitted overlay for the remote that shows all the functions of the buttons and levers. It also assists with good functionality like returning the drone to the point of take-off when the batter is beginning to get low and provides almost completely automated landing capabilities. If you are landing on a large flat area, like an empty parking lot, the landing can be completely automated. I land on a 3′ pad on grass, and due to the inherent GPS inaccuracies, I do assist the landing by either guiding the drone the last couple of feet down or moving the landing pad under where the drone is descending. It is very close in most cases – within a couple of feet. If you are a beginner and pick a nice wide-open spot, take-off and landings will not be a problem. I like the design of the drone with the “landing feet” being right below the props. That provides good stability upon landing and nearly eliminates the chances of the drone tipping over on landing (important on windy days).
During my first flights I did have about a 10mph wind. The drone handled the wind very well (I didn’t even put it in the “sport” mode and it still did very well). The stability of the drone and the camera gimble provide stable, quality pictures. The picture of the house is in the wind.
In addition to the basic flight capabilities, I tested the Route Planning, Fly Around, and GPS Follow functions. All worked well. I included a video of the GPS Follow functionality. The drone was following me in my pickup.
Bwine Mini App: I found this application very usable and straightforward to use. It provided a good interface to the camera so I could see from above and know when I wanted pictures/video. It linked to the remote with minimal effort via the cable. It is a little awkward to plug in the cable to the remote, but I found it easier to do that than configuring WiFi connections or other more technical interfacing methods.
Camera: The quality of the camera was very good. I selected the highest resolution for the photo images and retrieved them from the SD card after my flights. The SD card resolutions matched what was in the Bwine Mini app (5700 x 3200 pixels). The images sent from the drone to the application/cell phone were the same quality. The video was also confirmed at 3840 x 2160 @30 sec as specified. Both were very good quality, even during flight.
Battery Life: Overall, the battery life was good. I was able to run through most of the functionality tests with one charged battery, then I went up again with a new battery to test fly just for fun and take some additional pictures. I would estimate 15-20 minutes or so of flying depending on wind, camera usage, etc. The automatic return home estimates the necessary battery to return to the landing spot. I found it to be very conservative (a good thing).
I went through four battery charges on the drone batteries (over two outings) and the remote charge was still at 66%.
I did have a challenge finding an SD card in my available stash to work with the drone. The one that worked was a Samsung 128GB EVO card. I had some others that the drone would not recognize that were 32GB. I would recommend ordering an SD card with the drone that is FAT32 compatible and 128GB unless you have some around.
The only negative I found was the screen on the remote was very difficult to see in bright sunlight. This is not a showstopper as most of the functionality is managed through the connected cell phone on the Bwine Mini application. After the drone initializes and connects to the remote, I didn’t really look at the remote screen that much. In addition, the remote talks to you when key actions are underway (e.g. low battery return to home).

I’ve had 5 drones in the last three years. Been pretty satisfied mostly but I’ve past them on to my sons as I keep looking for the “one”. Now the Bwine F7GIM is the “one” for me. Easy set-up, ready to fly quickly, very responsive and super stable in the air. Great video quality. It checks all the boxes for me. Sorry the pictures are a bit dark, I just got home and was anxious to try it out. The last picture was my “Return to Home” which was almost dead on for the small landing pad! The first shot was my initial climb and then the second one was right to the 400′ limit. Really made it easy to see what was happening in my new neighborhood. The neighbors will be very happy to have me keep them informed of new developments. Really happy with the quality and ease of performance form this drone and the price made it an amazing value for the money! It’s a keeper!

The Bwine F7 Pro Drone is a great value. It is easy to set up and easy to fly. The video and picture quality are excellent, and I will be using it to film my upcoming outdoor adventures. Just a look at the quick start guide, and you can easily fly the F7 right away. It does all the hard things automatically. If in doubt, simply release the joysticks, and it will hold its position all by itself. For the more advanced options, the full instruction manual is very detailed and easy to understand. The video clip I included in the review was done on a pretty windy day, and the F7 seemed completely unaffected. The drone seems very well built and robust enough to take some abuse. I look forward to some very nice videos from a perspective that was until now not possible. I would highly recommend the Bwine F7 Pro for those looking for a great drone at a very reasonable price.

Small, light, and simple to setup/use. Personally I could careless about RID, and I did not get it to comply (does not need to be linked to a real person to work). I got it to add an extra layer of redundant protection if my bird goes down. DVR can get me close, this can get me closer, and a buzzer can pinpoint a lost quad. But I would save $10 and the the version without a buzzer. It weighs the same and has a bigger internal battery. The buzzer on this model is about as loud as a mouse fart.
Performance, build quality, and simple operation would have gotten 5 stars if the buzzer was useful.

I’ve been really impressed with this drone. The compact size makes it super convenient to transport, but it still feels solid and well-built. It’s incredibly easy to use. Even as someone who’s not a drone expert, I had it up and flying in minutes.
One of the standout features for me is the wired connection. Unlike WiFi-based drones that can be flaky, the wired setup is rock solid and eliminates the lag or connection issues I’ve experienced with others.
The camera is fantastic: sharp, clear, and stable footage every time. Battery life is solid, giving me enough time to enjoy flights without worrying about recharging constantly. On top of that, the support team has been extremely responsive and helpful whenever I had questions.
Overall, this is a reliable, well-designed drone that’s worth every penny. Highly recommended.

When I first ordered I wrote that I would probably give it a 2.5 due to problems with the batteries. Comes with four batteries only one holds charge for longer than 3 minutes. Charging the batteries is a joke and I had to purchase a battery pack that was greater wattage to see if that fixed the problem. At the time I wrote “Says not to charge them for no longer than 4 hours and they don’t even get charged in that time. “ However now that I bought a new charger it still takes longer to charge the batteries than 4 hours but they do get charged. The company reached out to me and was very helpful however, even offering new batteries without me even making a request. Customer service was spot on and I have to change my 2.5 star rating to a 5 because of how kind and patient they were with me. Picture and camera do seem to be good for a starter drone tho. Controls are seemingly easy. Got it as a gift for my boyfriend and though at first (because of battery problems) I wrote that I wish I didn’t, this is not true. It was a good gift and the sellers helpfulness has been more than wonderful. I really can’t complain and know that if you choose this as a first drone for learning and have any problems you’d have success and feel the same as me.

How to start this. I window shopped for a drone for over a year and finally pulled the trigger. This is my first drone, and this is a great drone. I live in the city and I was worried about being able to find a safe place to fly it. Day one I took it out at a park and after reading the instructions and watching videos on the operations I felt confident in being able to fly it. The controls are super simple. If you ever played a gaming system you’ll do great. I was able to take off and fly with ease. This drone came with three batteries and fly time is great. With the three batteries I had well over a hrs worth of fun. The camera is great to a point. It’s super clear till you turn and the picture gets a bit distorted. I knew at this price point the camera would be better than some cheap $100 drone. But it’s not great like a $1500 drone. But for my first drone the camera is great. The system has a lot of different features that I still don’t know how to do but I’m working on it. I was able to learn how to map at a mission course and let it fly. Day 2 I flew it around my apartment complex and the buildings definitely messes with the controller . I flew it at 70 ft and worked great. The weight of the drone definitely doesn’t feel cheap. I have to admit I DID crash it once straight in to a volleyball net. I bent the blades and the camera fell off. I thought for sure I was doomed. NOPE. Replaced the blades with the blades the drone came with. The camera connected back to the drone with no issues. After small repairs, little bit of cleaning. It works great and flys just like brand new. I looked up spare parts and Amazon pretty much has all the replacement parts you would need. I bought new blades for $15 bucks. Cheap. The drone has different modes. Normal, camera mode, and sport mode. Being my first drone I was happy with normal mode. I hit that sport mode and boy let me tell you. It’s like a RC race car in the sky. This sucka flew crazy fast in my opinion. So to some it up. You should buy this drone. Super fun and gave me the bug to buy more drones.

I tried to land it on a small table and crashed into the table. I burned up a motor. I bought a replacement arm and motor, $20, and took to my cell phone repair guy to solder the repair, $200. Don’t do that. Get their insurance for $49 and another replacement drone for another $49. The drone is pretty big. It comes in beginner’s mode which restricts height and distance, probably speed too. It has a ‘return to base’ button. Practice practice practice. The picture quality is very good. I’m looking forward to filming some whales. Service and fun, A+

Drone becomes unresponsive during flight. Ran away from vision. Hit return to home and drone started to return and landed on my roof over 100 feet away from takeoff. Upon landing on the slanted roof, the drone rolled off the roof and broke landing gear and multiple abrasions from the landing or the fall. Requires multiple calibrations almost every time I start it. Camera also does not retain position and maybe the problem why it became unresponsive and hangs downward. I’ve flown multiple drones in the past. I do not recommend purchasing this drone. Sent back to Amazon. Pure junk!

My drone came used and the controller would not charge i also couldn’t get it to go to the 10,000 foot mark vertically or linearly it only went to 111 feet in altitude and 1347 feet in distance from the controller. Video quality was actually good though but circling back my drone came used so most likely someones return got reshipped

I’m a novice but found the drone controlled predictably and smoothly. I was able to fly the drone twice on the first day but would not calibrate properly on the second day. I tried several flying locations and numerous startups but still could not get the compass calibration procedure to complete in order to fly again. I called the support line on a Sunday and was helped by Mary. She was patient and suggested several things to try, including taking a video of the control screen for their technicians to review. After several phone calls and emails Bwine determined that the drone was faulty and they would replace it at no cost. Katherine from Bwine was very helpful and kept me updated on the shipping status of the replacement drone. Within a few days I had the replacement drone and was flying again. The responsiveness, support, and communication from Bwine was very helpful. I’m looking forward to flying my drone and learning more of the features it offers. I highly recommend the Bwine drone as a great value.

I’ve been really impressed with this drone. The compact size makes it super convenient to transport, but it still feels solid and well-built. It’s incredibly easy to use. Even as someone who’s not a drone expert, I had it up and flying in minutes.
One of the standout features for me is the wired connection. Unlike WiFi-based drones that can be flaky, the wired setup is rock solid and eliminates the lag or connection issues I’ve experienced with others.
The camera is fantastic: sharp, clear, and stable footage every time. Battery life is solid, giving me enough time to enjoy flights without worrying about recharging constantly. On top of that, the support team has been extremely responsive and helpful whenever I had questions.
Overall, this is a reliable, well-designed drone that’s worth every penny. Highly recommended.

When I first ordered I wrote that I would probably give it a 2.5 due to problems with the batteries. Comes with four batteries only one holds charge for longer than 3 minutes. Charging the batteries is a joke and I had to purchase a battery pack that was greater wattage to see if that fixed the problem. At the time I wrote “Says not to charge them for no longer than 4 hours and they don’t even get charged in that time. “ However now that I bought a new charger it still takes longer to charge the batteries than 4 hours but they do get charged. The company reached out to me and was very helpful however, even offering new batteries without me even making a request. Customer service was spot on and I have to change my 2.5 star rating to a 5 because of how kind and patient they were with me. Picture and camera do seem to be good for a starter drone tho. Controls are seemingly easy. Got it as a gift for my boyfriend and though at first (because of battery problems) I wrote that I wish I didn’t, this is not true. It was a good gift and the sellers helpfulness has been more than wonderful. I really can’t complain and know that if you choose this as a first drone for learning and have any problems you’d have success and feel the same as me.

How to start this. I window shopped for a drone for over a year and finally pulled the trigger. This is my first drone, and this is a great drone. I live in the city and I was worried about being able to find a safe place to fly it. Day one I took it out at a park and after reading the instructions and watching videos on the operations I felt confident in being able to fly it. The controls are super simple. If you ever played a gaming system you’ll do great. I was able to take off and fly with ease. This drone came with three batteries and fly time is great. With the three batteries I had well over a hrs worth of fun. The camera is great to a point. It’s super clear till you turn and the picture gets a bit distorted. I knew at this price point the camera would be better than some cheap $100 drone. But it’s not great like a $1500 drone. But for my first drone the camera is great. The system has a lot of different features that I still don’t know how to do but I’m working on it. I was able to learn how to map at a mission course and let it fly. Day 2 I flew it around my apartment complex and the buildings definitely messes with the controller . I flew it at 70 ft and worked great. The weight of the drone definitely doesn’t feel cheap. I have to admit I DID crash it once straight in to a volleyball net. I bent the blades and the camera fell off. I thought for sure I was doomed. NOPE. Replaced the blades with the blades the drone came with. The camera connected back to the drone with no issues. After small repairs, little bit of cleaning. It works great and flys just like brand new. I looked up spare parts and Amazon pretty much has all the replacement parts you would need. I bought new blades for $15 bucks. Cheap. The drone has different modes. Normal, camera mode, and sport mode. Being my first drone I was happy with normal mode. I hit that sport mode and boy let me tell you. It’s like a RC race car in the sky. This sucka flew crazy fast in my opinion. So to some it up. You should buy this drone. Super fun and gave me the bug to buy more drones.

The customer support is exceptional. Finding them for a phone call is easy right on the app. I’m new at drones, although I am a professional pilot. I tried to land it on a small table and crashed into the table. I burned up a motor. I bought a replacement arm and motor, $20, and took to my cell phone repair guy to solder the repair, $200. Don’t do that. Get their insurance for $49 and another replacement drone for another $49. The drone is pretty big. It comes in beginner’s mode which restricts height and distance, probably speed too. It has a ‘return to base’ button. Practice practice practice. The picture quality is very good. I’m looking forward to filming some whales. Service and fun, A+

Drone becomes unresponsive during flight. Ran away from vision. Hit return to home and drone started to return and landed on my roof over 100 feet away from takeoff. Upon landing on the slanted roof, the drone rolled off the roof and broke landing gear and multiple abrasions from the landing or the fall. Requires multiple calibrations almost every time I start it. Camera also does not retain position and maybe the problem why it became unresponsive and hangs downward. I’ve flown multiple drones in the past. I do not recommend purchasing this drone. Sent back to Amazon. Pure junk!

The batteries are horrible. Otherwise, it’s a fun drone with a decent camera. Battery life is awful and 2 out of 3 of my batteries swelled up after using a hand few of times.

My drone came used and the controller would not charge i also couldn’t get it to go to the 10,000 foot mark vertically or linearly it only went to 111 feet in altitude and 1347 feet in distance from the controller. Video quality was actually good though but circling back my drone came used so most likely someones return got reshipped

this drone is easy to learn to fly. It has a nice 3-axis gimble camera for stability that works very well. I am able to record clear video of my flights.
Customer support was very quick and responsive when I needed help. I give 5 stars for this company and their staff.

This is a very fun little machine for recreational flying. Controls are pretty smooth, and the drone itself is responsive to the input commands. But, my only complaint is the battery life. It goes from full charge to telling you the drone battery is low pretty quickly.

I’m a novice but found the drone controlled predictably and smoothly. I was able to fly the drone twice on the first day but would not calibrate properly on the second day. I tried several flying locations and numerous startups but still could not get the compass calibration procedure to complete in order to fly again. I called the support line on a Sunday and was helped by Mary. She was patient and suggested several things to try, including taking a video of the control screen for their technicians to review. After several phone calls and emails Bwine determined that the drone was faulty and they would replace it at no cost. Katherine from Bwine was very helpful and kept me updated on the shipping status of the replacement drone. Within a few days I had the replacement drone and was flying again. The responsiveness, support, and communication from Bwine was very helpful. I’m looking forward to flying my drone and learning more of the features it offers. I highly recommend the Bwine drone as a great value.
